About the home

Villa sleeps up to 6 and is ideal for families or couples looking for a relaxed, comfortable holiday in the sun. Private sun terrace with sun loungers and patio furniture. Children's pool and large attractive swimming pool just outside your patio! Safe sandy beach and seawater lagoon a few minutes walk. Pool bar with tasty snacks beside heated swimming pool.

The complex also has a comprehensive supermarket, gym (at an extra cost), restaurants and bars! If you wish to go further within 10 minutes walk you have a huge choice of attractive shops,well priced restaurants and friendly bars.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is one of the Canary islands and due to its proximity to the African coast enjoys a very pleasant climate all year round with little rain! A definite plus! Costa Teguise is one of Lanzarote's main tourist resorts and is situated on the coast. It is only about 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport. If you wish to contact us we can help with transport ( including infant/ children seats).

The Costa Teguise / Las Cucharas area

The Sands Beach complex has a lot to offer but if you wish to do more there is plenty of choice close by.

Enjoy sitting in the square having a coffee or wine and watch the world go by! On a Friday night book early for one of the lovely restaurants in the square and enjoy the sights and sounds of the local craft market.

Enjoy the super seaviews as you shop along the waterfront.

If you feel a bit more active have a fun day at the nearby water park!

5 mins walk to LasCucharas with its excellent bathing/windsurfing facilities.

All year round access to Lanzarote from the majority of international airports. Fly into Arrecife airport using many of the many airlines (including budget airlines) and travel companies, for example, Aer Lingus, Easyjet, first Choice and Thomas Cook.

Transfer time from the airport to the resort is only 15 - 20 minutes. Taxis and car rental available at good prices.

If booking I will provide contact details for a transfer company who will pick you up at the airport, plus are cheaper than taxis.

“Perfect Holiday” Sands Beach Resort is one of the nicest large resorts we have ever been on. It is immaculate in nearly every respect. Although there are six pools with accommodation around each, because of the layout, it still feels as though you are on a small individual resort. The Apartment Amarilla 5 ( Holiday Lettings 194909) is not on the beach front but is in an ideal location on the sunny side of Amarilla. The one bedroom apartment could easily stand 4 and was ideal for just the two of us. Plenty of space inside and a large patio outside. It was clean, equipped with everything you could want and with the addition of a new Washer there was no need for extra towels or indeed to overload on clothes.
