About the home

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with all the amenities you could ask for - quiet location, stunning views, nearby lovely unspoilt beaches, promenade walks, good quality restaurants, shops etc all on your door step.

The nearby beaches of Jabillilo and Bastian offer great snorkiling and bathing and are located 5 - 10 mins walk along the main pedestrian promenade which is reached via a private gate from our complex for which a key is provided.The promenade stretches from the King of Spain's nearby holiday home to Cucharas and Charcos beaches at the opposite end of the resort.

Our accommodation has a large light & airy twin bedroom with a safe and remote controlled fan. The spacious bathroom has a vanity unit with lots of storage and a large walk-in shower with drying area.

Our spacious lounge has 2 sofas with roll under beds which comfortably accommodate an additional 2 persons and the lounge has additional wardrobe storage for guests sleeping in the lounge. We have a travel cot and can arrange a full size cot and high chair at a small cost. The open plan kitchen/diner comes complete with fridge,microwave,full electric oven / 4 ring ceramic hob so that you can actually cook a full meal if you wish unlike some apartments where you have only one or two rings to battle with! Our LCD TV has BBC1, BBC2, ITV , Channel 4 & Channel 5 and we have a DVD player. radio / CD, hairdryer, iron,ironing board & sewing kit, games, books , CDs & DVDs for use, feel free to bring some of your own or you can hire locally.

A smoke detector, fire blanket, fire extinguisher & first aid kit are within the apartment for your safety and comfort.

Our apartment as well as being close to many local activities including, golf, snorkling, diving, swimming. cycling , surfing and walking is perfectly placed to explore the many stunning contrasts which Lanzarote has to offer. You can explore by car or most parts of the island can be reached by taking a bus into Arrecife - 20 mins ride away. A direct bus from the bus stop 6 mins walk away from the apartment takes you to the very popular Sunday Teguise Town market which boasts many leather, hand- made crafts, souvenirs, handbags and art work amongst other goods and the main taxi rank which is 5 minutes walk will take you anywher you wish usually at pre-defined rates.

The complex pool bar serves snacks daily ( they have satellite TV showing UK major football programmes) there is also a superb restaurant and a tennis court on the complex( we have racquets and balls in the apartment. The on site gymnasium offers daily and weekly rates for visitors.

There are two swimming pools one large free formed, one children's and one paddling pool (no-life guard). There are plentiful sunbeds around the pool and large terrace areas with plenty of shade if required.

Several other bars, tavernas, tapas & restaurants, shops, bank s are all nearby- 1-2 minutes walk.

The Playa Bastian area of Costa Teguise offers the best of all worlds,the area is very quiet with some excellent restaurants offering traditional Spanish Tapas,Fine French, Italian,Chinese, Belgium & English cuisine. For those who desire more lively nightlife it is only a 2 euro taxi ride or 15 -20 minute walk from the apartment to the Playa Jabillilo and Playa Cucharas main resort areas.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote is one of the seven Canary Islands, situated some 1,000 km from the Iberian Peninsula and a 100 km (60 miles). from the coast of Africa.Located in the temperature zones of the Cancer Tropic and protected by the influential climatic effects, resulting from a clash between the high Saharan temperatures and the current from the Gulf of Mexico, the island enjoys an average temperature of 22°C all year round.

The Costa Teguise / Las Coronas area

Costa Teguise is one of the main tourist resorts on the island of Lanzarote and is situated just north of Arrecife in the north east region of the island. The name literally translates into coast of Teguise, Lanzarote´s former capital.

Costa Teguise is a pleasant tranquil resort and If sport is your thing then Costa Teguise is well worth a visit. With several diving centres, golf courses and bicycle hire shops all at arms length you can't go far wrong. For families, Ocean Water Park is based just 20 mins walk from Las Coronas which boasts water slides, flumes and heated swimming pools. Open daily from 10am – 6pm.

The main beach, Las Cucharas, is famous for its perfect windsurfing conditions and is a wonderful white beach where one can bask in the sun whilst the smaller Jabillio and Bastian beaches are more sheltered and excellent for snorkling. The resort also has a golf course and there is a small market every Friday evening.

“Great find” Had a wonderful holiday at 10 Las Coronas from start to finish. Apartment large with everything you could possibly need, and more. Beautiful views of the sea with plenty of bars and restaurants only a short walk away. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if I returned to Costa Tequise. Many thanks to Veronica for making our holiday just perfect.

“Stunning Sunset/Sunrise Balcony Views” This apartment is excellent with stunning views from the balcony. The apartment is in a great position with numerous shops, restaurants & bars to cater for any taste. My wife and I had a fantastic time here and totally chilled out for 2 weeks, just what the doctor ordered!! I can highly recommend staying here and would urge you to do so if you want a nice relaxing holiday, we are looking to re-visit in the very near future.

“Everything you could possibly need on holiday” Superb position and extremely well equipped, even down to a make-up mirror! A supermarket just across the road for fresh baked bread daily, numerous restaurants nearby to suit most tastes and a beautiful seafront promenade to stroll along to the main resort in Las Cucharas with outdoor gym equipment along the route - much used by the joggers along this route. The complex itself is very well maintained and quiet, the pool area is very attractive with ample sunbeds. We will definitely be staying here again.”

“Totally relaxing break” A superb apartment on a lovely quiet and friendly complex. Great sea views from the sun trap of a balcony which has the sun from sunrise to sunset. Supermarket, Bars and Restuarants are within 5 minute walk. Only a 15 minute stroll along the promanade into Costa Teguise centre. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a totally relaxing sunshine break

We had a lovely time at your apartment, this was the first holiday we have arranged in a privately owned apartment on the internet. We were really impressed with the time and effort that you had gone to providing information about the apartment and the resort.

You have a really well equipped apartment with stunning views. There's nothing I would comment on, we even did your tip for getting a taxi of taking a piece of paper up the night before.
