About the home

Sardinia Villa is a newly built in 2007, a mega villa offering 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Situated in a breathtaking panoramic position of Sardinia in Palauan. The villa has views to all the islands of the Archipelago from Corsica to the port of Palauan.

Beautiful maintained gardens. Outdoor dining areas on terraces. Outdoor shower. With 350 square mtrs of outdoor living space. The villa is 100 sq.m. in size with terraces 90 sq.m. There are spaces for car in a covered parking area.

In order to reach the nearest beaches, it is only a few mintues drive by car. Boat rides can be arranged to the nearby islands of the most beautiful in the world in particular Island Budelli from the port of Palauan. The villa is a few minutes from the port.

Porto Pollo also known as the Gulls' Island is formed by two large, sandy beaches and is located 5km north of Palau. An ecological niche of great interest, the island of the Gulls - it is a real windsurfers' paradise. They are able to practice their sport in summer and winter thanks to the currents and winds coming from the nearby Corsica mountains.

The Costa Smeralda / Palau area

The Bear's rock

East of the port of Palau, just a few minutes away, you come upon the famous bear's cliff, a huge granit rock 122 meters high. Over the years, the atmosphere has shaped it into the form of a bear, which looks towards the sea. This "bear", like all the cliffs of this area, leads back to the late Paleozoic era, between 340 and 250 millions of years ago.

The strategic value of the Mouths of Bonifacio pushed the Savoia at the end of the century XVIII, to build an efficient defensive system, made up by numerous walls and blockhouses, erected in panoramic positions and camouflaged between cliffs and the Mediterranean vegetation. Since their military scope became less, today they represent an additional curiosity and an ideal spot for talking pleasant walks between olive trees and wild junipers. One of the blockhouse better conserved is the one located on Monte Altura,and it offers a unparalleled views of the Sardinian coast.

The fortification of Baragge, Capo d' Orso are on the contrary overrun by the vegetation and their structures emerge here and there to evoke a time far away suspended in the unmistakable atmosphere of Sardinia, extraordinary synthesis of sea and countryside.
