Appartamento Bella Vista is located just a short walk from the many superb restaurants and bars of the quaint little fishing village , Porto San Paolo. With stunning views of the majestic Tavolara island , wake up each morning to the sight of foam crested waves, then take a stroll down to the pretty horse shoe shaped bay, with powdery white sand and translucent waters reminiscent of the caribbean. Despite the cosmopolitan atomosphere of this popular seaside village, it still appears to have been completely bypassed by the world of mass tourism.

For the golf enthusiasts amongst you the nearest golf course is less than a ten minute drive away, set next to the coast with panoramic views of the Costa Smeralda and surrounding islands. Porto San Paolo also boasts a large diving centre which is a ten minute walk from the apartment. If none of this appeals, why not take yourself off to the equestrian centre in the neighbouring town of San Teodoro, where pony trekking takes place daily next to world famous " La Cinta" beach . Here flamingoes,herons and wild ducks thrive.Alternatively, explore the glittering coastline and islands by hiring a speed boat from the local beach ... a day that will live in the memory for a long time to come !

The Sardinia region

It is almost impossible to illustrate with words just how beautiful and captivating this island is.Translucent blue waters fringed by powder white sand form a striking contrast to the luxuriant green vegetation everywhere. Despite being Italian, Sardinia has come under the control of every meditteranean power at one time including Romans, Phoenicians and Spaniards and this diverse history has given it a unique identity which is reflected in the local Sardinian cuisine. Sardinia is a culinary delight for almost every palate, with local wines to tempt even the most distinguished wine taster.
With a superb climate and range of attractions Sardinia really does hold something for everyone. Wild horses,flamingoes and seals are all resident. For the historian in you, the Island does not disappoint - Roman ruins and grottos can be found in various places over the island set against dramatic mountainous backdrops.Once visited, Sardinia is never forgotten.

A delightful harbour resort with quaint winding roads, bars and a number of excellent restaurants to suit every budget ranging from your basic pizzeria and spaghetti house, to the more sophisticated and adventurous fish restaurants that border the waters edge of this pretty little resort.
Porto San Paolo comes alive at night with artisan shops opening to sell their locally crafted produce,whilst the nightly street market ( in high season) sells anything from handbags to paintings.
By day play tennis, relax at the beach,go pony trekking,pay a visit to the local diving centre, try wine tasting at some of the local wine producing outlets, play golf on one of Europe's most breathtaking courses, hire a boat to explore the islands that are peppered along the sardinian coastline, or alternatively sit back and sip a glass of wine on one of the many guided tours. The possibilities are endless, although with scenery this beautiful it is sometimes quite satisfying to simply sit and watch the world go by.

Airlines that fly to Olbia include British Airways,Easyjet,Jet2,Ryan air,TUI, Thompson. Additionally Ryanair flys to Alghero some two hours away by car.

In the event of cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your rental, we will endeavour to re book the apartment, if we are unable to do so then 2/3rds of the original booking will be charged.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if full payment is not received 8 weeks prior to arrival.

No smoking allowed, except on the balcony
Refundable breakages deposit of £300 must be paid prior to rental. This will be refunded within two weeks of your departure ( subject to satisfactory property inspection ).
25 % of booking fee required upon booking to secure the reservation. This is nonrefundable.Balance required 8 weeks prior to arrival. We reserve the right to cancel a booking if full payment is not received 8 weeks prior to arrival.
To ensure that the apartment can be thoroughly cleaned between rentals, guests may arrive at the apartment from 16:00hrs on the first day of their booking, and must vacate by 10:00hrs on their last day.

The views of Tavolara island are beautiful,we got up ridiculousy early several mornings to enjoy the stunning sunrises.The restaurant recommendations were very useful and we tried out the 3 closest to the apartment, all of which were lovely.Chikka was very helpful in organising several things for us and being on hand to answer any queries.All in all we had a great holiday and we look forward to the possibility of returning. Hi Kate,just wanted to let you know,we had a super holiday,the five of us are well rested & feel the break has done us all good.The weather couldn't have been better,we were swimming in the sea every day!
We didn't bother hiring a car when we realised how close the apartment was to the supermarket & restaurants. We enjoyed the stroll down to the beach every day as well as the afternoon visit to the gelateria!! After 5 days or so,I'm normally ready to come back home but this time I could have quite happily stayed 2 weeks,I'm already missing the leisurely breakfasts sat on your balcony,the view is spectacular.
Anyway,thanks again for the restaurant info etc,we didn't manage to try them all but that's a good excuse to return next year! Sharon Tomms & family.
