The apartment is situated in a very quiete relaxing residence, with beautiful gardens and a short walk to the beach. Costa Serena is in front of the Archipelago of the Maddalena, with many beautiful Islands.
Palau is the nearest larger town, with a harbour and typical shops and restaurants and ferries leaving for the Islands and town of the Maddalena.
An excellent location for watersports, especially windsurfing, diving and sailing. Walking and biking is also very popular in this area.
Apart from the fantastic unspoilt beaches the region of the Gallura also offers beautiful countryside and archeological sites which one can visit.
The local cuisine offers excellent sea food and meat dishes with excellent wines produced in the area.

The Sardinia region

Sardinia is one of the biggest islands in the Mediterranean.
The coast lines are very beautiful with over 1800km of Coast with different landscapes from white sandy beaches to sculptured rocks formed by the mistral wind.

Costa Serena area

Costa Serena is a Residence that extends over a wide surface: no risk of ending up side by side, even in summertime!
For walk enthusiasts, routes starting from Costa Serena uncoil through a lushing Mediterranean vegetation, leading to hidden beaches and bays, or simply to breath-taking perspectives.
In springtime, blooming flowers and scents completely transform the landscape: myrtle, white and pink rock rose, lentisk, arbutus and thorny broom colour the whole headland and reach the seashore underneath.
Between Costa Serena and Palau there is a small town called Port Rafael which has a pretty small square and a small marina. Palau is situaded 5km south of Costa Serena. Palau is a typical Sardinian seaside town with shops,restaurants and a marina. There are also the ferry services running to the Maddalena Island and town and other islands on the Archipelago. 20km from Costa Serena you will find Porto Cervo which is known from all over the world by the rich and famous. The Porto Cervo area offers excellent night life.

Cheap flights from London Gatwick to Olbia Airport with Easy Jet www.easyjet.com. 40km from Olbia to Palau. Car drive 45 mins.

Local buses and taxi's run from Olbia Airport to the town of Palau.

The size of the apartment is 50SQM + 2 terraces.
The apartment has 1 bedroom with a double bed which has an entrance that leads onto the terrace situated on the side of the apartment, ideal for sunbathing.
The bathroom consitst of toilet, bidet and shower.
The kitchen is open onto the dining/living area.
The main room has two french doors leading onto a terrace which overlooks gardens and beaches, with table for dining and seats.
In the main room there is a sofa which pulls out and has two single beds, and a bunk bed for 2 persons that can be partitioned of by a curtain.

The apartment is located in a quiete residence with shared gardens, swimming pool, tennis courts and a jetty.
There is also a small supermarket, bar and restaurant.
(The swimming pool, supermarket bar and restaurant are open from the end of May to September).
The beaches are very unspoilt and natural.
There are also many other restaurants nearby where you can taste the excellent Sardinian specialities and wine.
