About the home

The apartment has one bedroom and will sleep up to two persons. It has glass sliding doors from the bedroom leading to a private sun terrace, complete with patio furniture and sun loungers.

The living and dining area seats three. There is a TV showing BBC1 BBC2, ITV, C4 and C5. DVD (Films can be hired locally) radio, cassette player and a CD player. The kitchen area has fitted units, electric hob and oven with grill. There is a microwave. The tiled bathroom has bath, shower, hand basin and WC. There is a washing machine.

Very large pool with good shallow end so suitable for all ages

The apartment is cleaned prior to your arrival and provided with towels and bed linen. On bookings of more than one week the towels and bed linen are changed weekly. On longer lets and subject to agreement we can provide additional linen for guests to launder themselves ( keeping costs down)

£40 key and breakages deposit on all bookings
50% deposit required to secure any booking and balance due must be paid within 8 weeks of departure date

The Tenerife region

Situated in the sunny South of Tenerife, Costa del Silencio is blessed with a wonderful year round pleasant climate. Even in the winter months temperatures rarely fall below 22C. In summer the cooling influence of the Atlantic means it rarely rises above 30C. No wonder Tenerife is known as the 'Fortunate Island'

The Costa del Silencio / Chayofita area

This area is well suited to couples or families as is less built up than Los Cristianos or Playa de las Americas. It has plenty to offer with a good choice of restaurants, a quaint harbour and beach with promenade at las Galletas and great coastal walks. There are bars but not the really lively ones so it appeals to those wishing to enjoy a quiter pace of life. Locally there is tennis and golf and you are not far from many of Tenerif'e's attractions such as zoos, water parks etc.

You are walking distance from shops and a good supermarket (Netto) so a car is not essential. Indeed there is a very good bus service which is well used by tourists. Dont forget I can arrange to have you met at Tenerife South airport by my British Driver-a great way to start your holiday

The most convenient airport for this accommodation is Tenerife South (TFS) giving a quick transfer time of 30 minutes. There is a second airport in the north of the island (TFN) which is about 90 minutes drive away. Many airlines fly to Tenerife-too many to list here in full but from the UK include Easyjet, Ryanair, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Iberia. Many other northern european countries also operate direct flights.

We had a lovely, relaxing week and couldn't recommend your apartment more highly. We felt at home right away due to thoughtful provision of small necessities (soap, washing up liquid, pegs, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper etc) and books, UK TV and DVD player were a welcome diversion for the evenings. I particularly appreciated the well appointed kitchen with good quality utensils including sharp knives, (rarely found in holiday apartments) and gas cooker and microwave. The complex itself was attractive and well planted and maintained and Dick and Ann couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was very conveniently situated close to shops and restaurants while being most peaceful (Lyn and John - London)

The owner arranged a short stay for me at very short notice. I was met at the airport which saved hassle of taxis-(the queue was very long!) The apartment was perfect for my stay and made an ideal base being just walking distance from everything I needed. Particularly liked the sun terrace. Will definitely book again
