The apartment is ground floor and has a sunny terrace which looks directly on to the swimming pool. There is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is well equipped with full cooker/ceramic hob, granite work surfaces, microwave, fridge/freezer. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, iron+ironing board. There is a safe, hairdryers, CD player, Video recorder and DVD player. There are 5 English TV Channels. Atlantico has a children's play area, swimming pools and a tennis court. Costa Del Silencio has many fine restaurants and supermarkets. The older Canarian fishing village of Las Galletas with its daily fishmarket and charming promenade with restaurants and bars is a short walk away.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife is only 4 flying hours from the UK and has a most pleasant year round climate. It is ideal for a family summer holiday or equally for a winter sun break. There are many possibilities for trips around the Island - some ideas are:- Windsurfing @ Medano - 20 minutes away Golf within a 15 minute drive Waterpark - great for both big and small children - fabulous Dolphin show. Eagle park - many animals A visit to the National Park - an area of outstanding beauty Simply have a day on one of the many local beaches Have a lazy day around the pool A trip to Puerto de la Cruz in the North with a visit to the world famous Loro Park recommended Walk into Las Galletas with its daily fish market and charming promenade where you can while away a morning in one of the seafront bars or have a swim on the harbour - diving schools are also plentiful.
Costa del Silencio area
Costa del Silencio, as the name suggests, is quieter than some holiday resorts and is conveniently situated being only a 15 minute drive from the airport in the sunny South of the Island.
There are several diving schools in this "Top Ten Worldwide Diving Area". There is also windsurfing at nearby Medano.
A nine hole golf course is 10 minutes away and there are many 18 hole courses within easy distance.
For the energetic a walk to Los Abrigos takes about 2 hours along the coast and it is possible to return by local bus. Also, the bus service to Los Cristianos and Playa Las Americas is frequent - taxis and car hire are also reasonable.
