Home description

Located in the picturesque complex of Parque Don Jose in Costa del Silencio. A short drive to all the golf courses, the beach and night life of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas The complex has its own large walk in pool , children's pool and play area. Our lovely apartment is ideal for couples and families and enjoys spectacular mountain views. Restaurants and supermarkets and the sea are a short walk away.

The apartment is maintained to a high standard and our on-site maintenance and service team are there to help you with any problems.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife has many places of interest to see. Among them is Mount Teide, at the top of which is the Las Canadas national park with its moon-like landscape (featured in Planet of the Apes) & tropical forests. Taganana in the north is also spectacular with its lush vegetation and precipitous roads.

It may be of interest that Tenerife is a tax free Island, cigarettes are 2E a packet, whisky 8E per. bottle, wine from 1E per bottle (this is for cooking!!)

Costa del Silencio area

There is a cliff top walks to Los Galletas & Los Abrigos, if you are feeling energetic! Black Pyramids to visit at Guimar. Festival of Carmen in August. Water sports including wind surfing and diving are all within a 20 min. drive.

For the less energetic there are a host of sea front restaurants for those long relaxed meals soaking up the sun, watching the sea & the world go by, some a short walk away but loads within 10 to 20 min. drive.

How to get there

Fly to TENERIFE SOUTH (Sophia) airport take a local bus or taxi to Parque don Jose, Costa del Silencio it takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively you can fly to the North Airport, the journey time is about 1 hour (60K)

With a luxury kitchen, fitted cupboards and worktops, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board, hair dryer. Brand new fully equipped bathroom with bath shower and bidet. Bedrooms tastefully furnished with fitted wardrobes and bedside units. Enough space for clothes and suitcases. One bedroom has large sliding patio doors onto balcony. Beds can be put together for a double.

Fully furnished lounge/dining room has 3 comfortable sofas. Side unit with space for your own bits and pieces. Dining table for 6, Satellite UK & European Television, (5 English channels, film channel and all news channels) dvd player,stereo with cd and tape.

There is a huge walk in pool, heated children's pool and play area, formal gardens, tennis & petanque courts, pool & table tennis, all within the complex. Shops and restaurants and supermarkets all nearby.

Hi Harvey and Joy,
Just a few lines to let you know that we had a really fantastic holiday and your apartment was absolutely great. We definitely want to go back again next year - even though we had 3 weeks it still wasn't enough for me! I left some books and lilos for others to enjoy and also teabags and odds and bobs in the cupboards that we had bought. The water and milk on arrival were very much appreciated. Thanks once again for a beautiful apartment - those beds were soooooo comfortable!!!

Got back on Friday and we had a great time thanks - we loved the complex
and used all the facilities - we all especially enjoyed the sport
activities and played water polo. Volleyball, shooting water aerobics
etc etc .... we would certainly visit again so we will keep your details

Just to let you know we are back home safe and sound full of red wine, food, and very sunburnt. We had a super time, very impressed with your apartment especially with just the 2 of us in it. Have left a message on your phone so can speak to you more about it all when you return. We made good use of the buffet in the hotel, very good value, have left you some red wine in there for when you go. Weather was great, we were glad of the clouds some days and a breeze or it would have been too hot. Certainly better than when we were on the island like you in Jan/Feb. Met up with Rob and Cynthia, very nice, they were very busy moving into their new apartment in Adeje which sounds super. Also met a friend of yours one row down who asked if we were ok. Watered the Yucca both weeks.

sorry I have been meaning to give you a call this week to say thank you very much.

What a lovely apartment, very spacious and well equipped, although to be honest other than breakie and a light lunch didn't use the cooking facilities.
We have left a few comments in the book. I hope you don't mind me mentioning but I wasn't sure about the throws, I appreciate however they do stop all the dirty marks and are easy to throw in the washing machine.

We thought the complex was really nice and well kept - only ate in the restaurant once which was good.

The weather was quite good, although the sun could have been out a big longer each day and the nights were very cool. Managed to come back with a good sun tan and read 3 books so you can see it was a success!

Thanks to you both and we hope to have the opportunity to use the apartment again in the future.
