Home description
Located in the picturesque complex of Parque Don Jose in Costa del Silencio. A short drive to the golf courses, beaches and night life of Los Cristianos and Playa las Americas The complex has a life guard, its own large walk in pool and children's pool and play area. Our lovely apartment is ideal for couples just wanting to relax or families with small children and enjoys spectacular mountain views. Restaurants, supermarkets and the sea are a short walk away.
The apartment is maintained to a high standard and our on-site maintenance and service team are there to help you with any problems.

The Tenerife region
Tenerife has many places of interest to see. Among them is Mount Teide, at the top of which is the Las Canadas national park with its moon-like landscape (featured in Planet of the Apes) & tropical forests. Taganana in the north is also spectacular with its lush vegetation and precipitous roads.
It may be of interest that Tenerife is a tax free Island, cigarettes are 2E a packet, whisky 8E per. bottle, wine from 1E per bottle (this is for cooking!!)
Costa del Silencio area
There is a cliff top walks to Los Galletas & Los Abrigos, if you are feeling energetic! Black Pyramids to visit at Guimar. Festival of Carmen in August. Water sports including wind surfing and diving are all within a 20 min. drive.
For the less energetic there are a host of sea front restaurants for those long relaxed meals soaking up the sun, watching the sea & the world go by, some a short walk away but loads within 10 to 20 min. drive.
How to get there
Fly to TENERIFE SOUTH (Sophia) airport take a local bus or taxi to Parque don Jose, Costa del Silencio it takes about 20 minutes. Alternatively you can fly to the North Airport, the journey time is about 1 hour (60K) We have found the following companies useful for flights, copy & past the links below in to your address box, then click on go to take you to the site. Further details indoors: The apartment has a fully fitted modern kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, good worktop, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster. All the extra bits and pieces that you have at home but would not expect to find in a holiday rental. There is an iron, ironing board and hair dryer. Modern bathroom with bath shower, toilet and bidet. Bedrooms tastefully furnished with fitted wardrobes and bedside units. Plenty of space for clothes and suitcases. One bedroom has large sliding patio doors onto balcony. Beds can be put together for a double. Lounge opens onto sunny balcony.
Fully furnished lounge/dining room has 3 comfortable sofas. Side unit with space for your own personal items. Dining table for 6, Satellite UK & European Television, (5 English channels, film channel and all news channels) dvd player,stereo with cd and tape. There is also a shopping trolley for your use.
Further details outdoors: There is a huge walk in pool, heated children's pool and play area, formal gardens, tennis & petanque courts, pool & table tennis, all within the complex. Shops and restaurants and supermarkets all nearby. Horse Riding, Golf, Bowls, Scuba diving, fishing and wind surfing are all nearby. Take a trip up to Mount Teide in the cable car and enjoy the fantastic view. Take the bus to Santa Cruz the capital and then you could have a Tram ride to La Laguna with its well preserved historic centre. Visit Loro Parque or Siam Parque and have fun with the children.

Secure complex so very safe for small children. Swimming pools open all year with a lifeguard on duty. There is also use of a heated pool in an associated apartment block next door.
The people that look after you and our apartment during your stay have an office just outside the complex and are open Tues- Frid 10.30am - 4.30pm and Sat. 10.30 am to 1pm. There is also an on call emergency service for out of hours problems.

25.3.08 Your apartment was really comfortable and well appointed. Home from home. Our boys enjoyed the fact that they could watch their DVDs. Very easy kitchen to prepare our meals. Hi Harvey and Joy, Just a few lines to let you know that we had a really fantastic holiday and your apartment was absolutely great. We definitely want to go back again next year - even though we had 3 weeks it still wasn't enough for me! I left some books and lilos for others to enjoy and also teabags and odds and bobs in the cupboards that we had bought. The water and milk on arrival were very much appreciated.
