Located in the quiet area of Costa del Silencio but just a short drive to golf courses, beaches and the nightlife of Los Cristianos & Playa de las Americas. This area is also very popular for scuba diving. There is a good selection of bars & restaurants nearby

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is famous for its all year round weather and for its landmark extinct volcano, Mount Teide.
Tenerife has much to offer the holidaymaker, ranging from beaches, the climate, the incredible scenery of Mount Teide, golf courses and scuba diving, to just relaxing in the sun watching the world, (and if you are lucky, the dolphins!), go by.

Costa del Silencio / Amarilla Bay area

Costa del Silencio is a quieter resort at the southernmost coastal tip of Tenerife, but still has much to offer, with many excellent restaurants and a wide variety of bars within easy walking distance. The adjoining village of Las Galletas with its beach, promenade and harbour is just a short walk away and has some of the best fish restaurants around.
For the more energetic, the area is popular for walking, golf and scuba diving.

How to get there

The Tenerife Sur airport is a 15 minute drive to the north of Costa del Silencio. Budget airline flights, for example Monarch and Thomson are available from some UK regional airports on most days, although the most popular flight days to Tenerife are Tuesday and Friday. Check out www.travelrepublic.co.uk for flight deals from your nearest airport
Taxis from the airport are around 20 euros. Car hire is readily available locally & at the airport. The local bus service is very good, particularly into Los Cristianos & Playa de las Americas.
