The apartment has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, and a double sofa lounge in the living area if additional space is required, making it perfect for couples or families. The kitchen is new, functional and well equipped. There is a laundry with a new washing machine and linen and towels are provided.

The Fuerteventura region
As the island of Fuerteventura lies less than 100km off the coast of north-west Africa it enjoys approximately 3000 hours of sunshine every year, with an almost perfect holiday climate year-round. There are more than 155 beaches around the island, with the turquoise blue of the sea contrasting dramatically with the stunning volcanic landscape. Fuerteventura is a paradise for sun and water sports-lovers alike.
The local cuisine on Fuerteventura is wonderfully fresh fish and seafood, typically served with Canarian potatoes and “Mojo” sauce. Fuerteventura is also home to the internationally acclaimed “Majorero” goats cheese produced on the island. There are some very atmospheric sea side restaurants serving this style of cuisine in old town area of Morro Jable, only 15mins drive from Costa Calma. Lovely fresh local fish is also sold at supermarkets in Costa Calma. Also highly recommended is the fabulous local wine produced on the neighboring island of Lanzarote. A perfect accompaniment to a delicious seafood meal!
Costa Calma area
Costa Calma is one of Fuerteventura’s southern coastal towns and offers visitors peace, tranquility, year-round sunshine, fascinating lunar landscape and some of the most beautiful sandy beaches in the Canary Islands. The crystal clear waters of Costa Calma beach have received the Blue Flag Award for water quality, cleanliness and beauty of location.
This area is also world renowned for water sports with the World Windsurfing Championships held here in July and August every year. There are several windsurfing schools in this area which is fantastic fun for beginners and professionals alike. Kite surfing, sailing, surfing, swimming, snorkeling, jet skiing, diving, deep-sea fishing and banana boat rides are some of the other beach activities available on Fuerteventura.
Other popular activities on the island and in close proximity to Costa Calma are golf (excellent course in Caleta De Fuste which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open), a visit to the wonderful Oasis Park Zoo in La Lajita (10mins from Costa Calma) which is an amazing combination of botanical gardens, zoo, extensive exotic plant nursery, and very popular camel rides. A water park is located in Corriaejo and there are two go-karting tracks on the island. There is also a sports centre in Costa Calma with tennis courts and a massage centre.
