About the home

It is a lovely two bedroomed apartment on 2nd Floor in a new complex. This is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. It is a well laid out and spacious apartment. It is very bright and colourful. It has a large balcony from where you have a beautiful panoramic view of costa calma. There is a patio table and chairs, and two sun loungers on the balcony. Arise to the beautiful sun rise early in the morning.

This apartment is about 7 minutes from the beautiful beach of Esmerelda, and about 10 minutes from hotels and restaurants, and supermarkets in the town of Costa Calma.

There is a large communal swimming pool where you can have a very enjoyable swim or you can relax on the sunlounger by the pool. The town of Costa Calma is about 2 miles from the apartment.

There is a safe which can be used for 1 euro per day. There will be a charge of 5 euros if key is lost.

This is a two bed apartment. One room has a double bed and a single bed,it has patio doors which open out onto the balcony, and you have a lovely view of the sea. The other bedroom has 1 single bed. There is also a pullout bed. This apartment accommodates 4 to 5 people. The prices are based on 4 people sharing and the max is 5 people. The bathroom has double sinks and large mirror. It has a wc and shower. Linen and towels provided.

A large communal outdoor swimming pool. This is a real suntrap. There is a larage balcony.

Please note that apartment must be vacated by 10am on morning of departure, to allow for cleaning of apartment for incoming guests.

Conditions

A booking deposit of €200 is required to secure the property for your required dates. The balance must be paid at least 6 weeks prior to travelling. If you need to cancel your booking, this will incur a loss of deposit and if cancellation is made with less than 6 weeks to go before the date of travel, the full amount will be retained, unless the apartment can be rebooked. If the booking is made with less than 6 weeks before the date of travel then the full amount must be paid on booking. Payments can be made by transfer in euros. On booking the apartment a deposit of €150 is required to cover damage and a final clean. This will be refunded after leaving the apartment , if on inspection everything is ok - minus the cost of final clean - €70

There is a safe which can be used for 1 euro per day.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the closest of the canary island to the African coast. Costa Calma is the nearest town and it has many hotels, restaurants and supermarkets. This is an ideal place to get peace and quietness.
There is a Oasis Park Zoo about 10 minutes away. There are beautiful beaches, and it is about 7 minutes to the beautiful beach of Playa Esmerelda, with its beautiful turquoise blue waters and is safe to swim in. The world wind surfing championships are held here in July and August each year. You can rent wind surfing and kite surfing equipment nearby.

The Costa Calma area

Costa Calma gets about 3,000 hours of sunshine each year, and this makes it a very attractive place to visit.
The nearest airport is Puerto del Rosario and is approximately 50 minutes drive by car. The roads are very good and the signposts are easy to follow. It is highly recommended that you hire a car .The town of Costa Calma is 2 kilometres from the apartment.
Enjoy a stroll along the beautiful sandy beaches or a swim in the calm turquoise blue water. Costa Calma has a laid back atomsphere.
There are many nice hotels and restaurants there,where you can have a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. There are numerous shopping centres and supermarkets and there is a market twice weekly, on Wednesday and Sunday.

You can visit the beautiful Oasis Park Zoo which is about a ten minute drive away. They have many shows there such as crocidiles, parrots, birds of prey and sealions. There are also camel rides.

There are two golf courses , Calete de Fuste about 30 minutes drive, and Jandia about 15 minutes away .

The world windsurfing championships are held in July and August each year.

Ryan Air fly to Fuerteventura 3 times a week from Dublin. You can also get cheap flights from www.flythompson.co.uk and www.thomascook.co.uk from England.

No compensation will be paid.
