Olicos apartment is a beautiful 2 bed apartment in a new complex. It has been fitted out to a very high standard by an Interior Designer. This apartment is the ideal place to "chill out". Relax with a glass of your favourite tipple on a long balcony while enjoying panoramic views of Costa Calma and Playa Esmerelda. Wake up to the most magnificent sunrises in this very comfortable apartment. Later on relax in a suntrap beside a very large outdoor swimming pool or take a stroll to the heavenly clean sands and crystal clear sea of Playa Esmerelda. It is ideal for couples who want a peaceful relaxing holiday or for families.

Conditions

Please contact Feargus by e-mail or telephone to arrange booking. Prices are in euros. A booking deposit of €200 is required to secure the property for your required dates. The balance must be paid at least 6 weeks prior to travelling.
Cancellation or changes made by you
If you need to cancel your booking, this will incur a loss of deposit and if cancellation is made with less than 6 weeks to go before the date of travel, the full amount will be retained. If the booking is made with less than 6 weeks before the date of travel then the full amount must be paid on booking. Payments can be made by transfer in euros. On booking the apartment a deposit of €200 is required to cover damage,utilities etc. This will be refunded after leaving the apartment - minus the cost of final clean - €70 per 2 people and €5 per extra person and the cost of water and electricity which is 8 euro per person per week. A safe isavailable to rent for 7 euro p.w.
Cancellation or changes made by us
This would not be expected unless an unforseen problem occured. If this did happen then we would contact you as soon as possible to explain the situation and aim to find you alternative accommodation ( we do reserve the right to pass on any additional rates) Alternatively your money will be refunded in full. No compensation will be paid.

The Fuerteventura region

Coast/Beach
Take a 7 minute stroll and you are at the magnificent Playa Esmerelda. This beach is perfect for swimming with lovely clear water and safe sandy beaches. Nearby there is a 15 mile stretch of beach for the more energetic. This is an excellent area for water sport - including windsurfing. It is directly above the famous Rene Egli wind and kite surfing pro centre. The world surfing championships are held here between July and August every year. windsurfing and kite surfing equipment is available to lease nearby.

The Costa Calma area

Travel

The nearest airport is Puerto del Rosario which is approximately 50 minutes drive away on clearly signposted very good roads. Car hire is an economical way of enjoying the island and we highly recommend it to get maximum benefit for your holiday.

The town of Costa Calma is approximately 2 kilometres from the apartment. Costa Calma is the perfect destination for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. This resort caters mainly for German, Italian and Spanish tourists which means that a very high standard is required. There are numerous 4 and 5 star hotels in the resort. All offer excellent facilities and great evenig entertainment for the family. Non residents are very welcome and we use these facilities all the time and find them excellent for both ourselves and our children. You can enjoy a magnificent buffet at very reasonable rates and children are charged half price. There are also numerous lovely restaurants. In addition there are numerous shopping centres and supermarkets, with a twice weekly market every Sunday and Wednesday.

This apartment is only a 10 minutes drive from the fabulous Oasis Park and Zoo. There are numerous shows of crocodiles, sea lions, parrots and birds of prey. There are also camels rides with fabulous views of the Zoo and Botanical Park overlooking Lajita Harbour. It is easily accessible to four golf courses. One in Jandia (15 mins.), Two in Caleta De Fuste(30 mins.), and one in Las Playitas(20mins.).

There are numerous restaurants and bars to be enjoyed in Costa Calma.

A number of low cost carriers operate from the u.k. You can avail of cheaper car hire rates on Fuerteventura through Auto Reisen Topcar car hire or Cicar a local car hire firm.

The nearest airport is Puerto del Rosario which is approximately 50 minutes drive away on clearly signposted very good roads. Car hire is an economical way of enjoying the island and is recommended to take full advantage of the apartment and the island. Alternatively a taxi service is available from the airport from approx. €60each way.
