The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is one of the 7 Canary Islands, it benefits from 335 days of sun a year and is a fantastic place for holiday's throughout the year. There are many places to visit in Fuerteventura, the most well known regions are Corralejo in the north of the island, Caleta de Fuste which is about 40 minutes south of Corralejo, Costa Calma even further south and of course Morro Jable which is the most southern town in Fuerteventura. There are many hidden Canarian gems within the island and must be visited to be fully appreciated.
Costa Calma / Canada del Rio area
Costa Calma is a fabulous town situated at the South of Fuerteventura, with the benefit of being within a 10 minute walk to Sotavento beach, which gives you access to kite and wind surfing classes, jet bike rentals and much more. In the town itself are plenty of shopping centres, lovely restaurants and many bars during the night life of Costa Calma. Of course, Morro Jable is only a 15-20 minute drive away which opens up more and more for you to see.
How to get there
Flights: Monarch, Easy Jet, First Choice, Thomas Cook, Thomson, Iberia etc. Rent A Car: Europcar, Avis, Hertz etc
All car rentals are available to your left as soon as you exit baggage claim. One you leave the terminal follow the signs towards Morro Jable, this is taking you towards the South of the island. You will drive through the town of Caleta de Fuste, pass Gran Tarajal and continue to Costa Calma. The drive should take no longer than 45 minutes from leaving the airport. You will come to a roundabout at the beginning of Costa Calma, go straight over that, follow the road up the hill until you come to the next roundabout, go over this one and again, follow road till the third roundabout, at this one, come back on yourself and take a right about 100mtrs up the road, sign posted 'Playa Paraiso' follow the track which bends left and you will come to the fantastic front line apartments.

Further details indoors: The second single bed is a pull out bed, which comes with the property if needed during your stay. There are a selection of channels for all nationalities, and a selection of DVDs are provided as well for your viewing pleasure.
Further details outdoors: Outside table and chairs set is provided for you to enjoy the warm evenings of Costa Calma on the terrace. Fantastically sized communal pool, which is heated by the sun and is ideal for swimming at around 2 o'clock. There are lifts to access the property, however are being maintained at present.
