Casa E'Cosse is ideal for a peaceful holiday but 10-15 minutes walk into Playa Paraiso for more bars and restaurants. Statistically this area gets more sun than anywhere else on the island. Location lends itself to stunning views of both Sea and Mountains and La Gomera on most clear days. Nearest amenties are a mere 3-400m up the hill. There are a couple of bars and eatings places and a mini market which we find is even competitive with the larger supermarkets and fairly well stocked. They have there own heated breas also.. For those that wish to chill and walk into town it is ideal but for those who wish to explore further Avenida Adeje 300 which is the street Casa E'cosse is on is also a main bus route. Security gates and alarm system are there for additonal peace of mind. Private pool directly outside the patio is perfectly situated to always keep you cool in the inevitable Tenerife sun. The nearest Cafe/bar is Lino about 200m down the hill from the Villa

Further details outdoors

Each bedroom has access to a sun terrace with the master bedroom having a terrace to the rear and also a balcony to the front via the en suite. The 3rd Bedroom has patio doors leading directly out onto the terrace where the pool is located

Further details

Due to the fact that there are flights on every day of the week we no longer have a specific change over day, it is based purely on availability to suit our guests. Access to Villa not before 12 noon on day of arrival and by 10 am on day of departure, however if noone is due into Villa immediately after then by discussion with our house manager there should be no need to leave as early but we will need access to clean etc.

Smoking is not permitted within the house but is acceptable on the outside terraces.

We do have reviews with tripadvisor however due to a glitch these are not currently on Holiday Lettings we hope they will be back on line soon. You can however find our reviews on Tripadvisor.

As of now summer 2013 there are two bar restaurant 200m down hill from villa and 4 bar/restaurants around 400m up the hill. We also believe that a supermarket is to be located in the previous unit Dia was based come November, currently there is a small but well stocked mini market there.

We currently dont have wifi but the full signal from the Bahia Principe Hotel can be received and paid for at 25€ a week via there log in system with paypal or card

The Tenerife region

The island of Tenerife is situated in the Atlantic ocean about 200 miles off the West African coast at just over 2000 square kilometres it is the largest of the seven main Canary Islands. Although small in size it has as many different climatic zones as a continent, you’ll see many different types of agriculture from potatoes to orange trees. To give an idea of the different types of landscape available at very small distances apart. The most important part of the island is of course mount Teide, its sheer size and height dominate the landscape for miles around. Mention was made of 'El Teide' and its snow mantled, fiery cone by Christopher Columbus as well as many other early explorers, some experts claim that even as recently as Columbus's time Teide was much higher and that since he first passed the mountain has imploded and lost a lot of its height. At three thousand seven hundred and eighteen metres it's still an impressive sight and features in the repertoire of any Tenerife guide giving information about Tenerife.

What are you waiting for? Don't take my word for it, go and see what we andTenerife have to offer. Happy Discovering!

Costa Adeje

Playa Paraiso is ideally located for all the attractions on the island. close at hand within Paraiso itself is the Lago Lido which is a large open air swimming pool. Further down the coast there are the towns of los Gigantes, san Juan and Santiago all within about a twenty minute drive and boast all the amenities you would anticipate from a sea side town. Towards Las Americas which is about a 15 minute drive the port at Puerto colon has all the water sports such as paragliding, jet ski, and diving while you can also dive and fish within the town of paraiso itself. Major attractions such as the brand new Siam park and Loro Park are easily accessed from the villa too. a 10 minute drive towards Fanabe arrives you at Gran sur a new shopping and eating complex complete with multi cinemas. Within Paraiso there are a selection of bars restaurants and shops while the town of Adeje itself higher up over the Motorway (TF1) has all the feel and atmosphere of a canarian town. something for all.

Love of fiestas is an essential part of the make-up of the Canary Islanders and the fiesta of fiestas is Tenerife Carnaval. Held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife every February or March, it’s the world’s third largest carnival after Rio and London’s Notting Hill Carnival. Click for photos and information on Carnaval or other popular fiestas during the rest of the year.

"Bright, Spacious, Comfortable Casa"

Great Casa as described by Ian. We were just a couple wanting to chill for a lovely sunny week in February and really enjoyed our stay. The heated pool was a terrific bonus. We suggest you bring a torch… More

Glad you had a good time, yes your bang on about reading the digits on padlock, in actual fact until fairly recently we had a small torch attached by a cord to the gate hanging inside but it went amiss and to be honest when we were over recently I had a similar issue. Now its been mentioned I will ensure a small torch is re attached.

Yes you are right the local restaurants are all good value and at this time of year Paraiso wont be too busy but ideal for what you were looking for, thanks for staying

"Spacious holiday oasis near the sea."

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa despite the fact that we were unlucky with the weather. We arrived in a power cut and terrific storm. Our biggest problem was getting in the property when it was… More

Hi
I am so sorry you had this problem with access. Its not normal. The combination padlock is facing the lamp post right outside our gate which normally illuminates the gate fully at night. There is also a button on the lock that lights up the lock. That being said it would be a nightmare trying to do in the dark. When you contacted me I had no idea why you had difficulty and was a bit confused. It was only when discussing with Rob he realised the street lightening must have been out during the storm on the night you arrived. It didnt seem to affect all the electricity inside the house. It was further confirmed to us when we realised the pool heating timings had gone off also so it affected some electrics and not all it would seem. Again we can only apologise and advise future guests that this isnt the norm. The key process has worked well for a long time but do realise the problem it would have given you. It seems all else went well, thanks for staying and hope to hear from you again, Ian

"A Very Relaxing Holiday"

This villa in Playa Paraiso is located in a quiet residential street with easy parking. The views from the upstairs rooms and balconies are excellent. The pool area is in sun all day and is a great place to sunbathe. The town itself has a few bars and restaurants but we felt that having a car was so much better as you could travel to the Adeje area in ten minutes or so but it was nice to return to the quiet of the villa at night.

If you like tapas and football then Francis II bar in the town is great. Full of friendly locals eager to discuss the games. The food is great and reasonably priced. The Titanic Pizza and the Italian L'Incontro are also well worth a visit.

For the price we paid the villa was good value for money and we would consider returning in the future. It's a short walk to the cliffs down the hill and, if you like watching huge waves crashing on the shore, you will be amazed at their awesome power.

"Villa perfect, location not,"

Four sisters on yearly holiday, the villa was perfect very comfortable home from home, but i have to say the location was not. The beach that Ian told us that was walking distance was a pebble (actually not a beach at all) you could swim there but that was it and you had to walk down a steep hill to it.
The were very little restaurants within walking distance and no shops, supermarket was down another hill.
No body meet us on arrival ok a welcome package was left for us. Lisa we never saw or she did not ring to see were we ok.
There was a problem with the heated pool and Ian wanted us to use it for the week without it filtering (imagine that in the heat) he got it filtered but the temperature was not what it should be. I paid the deposit for damages and its now 4 weeks and i still did not get it back yet.
Over we enjoyed the holiday and weather but would not recommond this villa for the location.
We ended us hiring a car to get around otherwise we would be stranded.

While it is disappointing to read this review and I concede we had an issue with the pool that only transpired on the day this party were arriving I feel most of the other info is inaccurate.

We have had a system for ten years re access and how to get the keys. This avoids meet and greets and has worked well for all this time. We at no stage advised someone would met them and the access arrangements were on the instructions forwarded.

The guests state that four weeks after return they have not had deposited refunded? well the review was written little over two weeks after they returned therfore it is inaccurate.

I was on holiday myself and had informed the guests of this, they have not only had the deposit returned now but a small refund for the inconvenience they had (120€ returned)

In there initial enquiry they clearly stated that Beaches were very important to them. I replied stating that if this was the case then perhaps Playa Paraiso was not the place for them as Beaches are limited. Despite this another sister called me and despite what was given by way of info wished to book. I further advised the "pebble Beach" refered to was overgrown but another beach within Paraiso between Roca Nivaria and Buena Vista Hotels existed. They do not mention this.

The guests claim to have been stranded yet There is a bus stop 200m from the house and the 472 or 473 passes every twenty minutes in both directions going to almost everywhere on the island. As the Bahia Principe Hotel is to the rear of us there are also taxis passing frequently. The nearest bar is 200m, opposite the bus stop, and the mini market 400m. I produced a document of all the bars and restaurants in the area for the info of guests so they would have been aware of locations. There are about a dozen places to eat within 15 minutes of the house and excellent transport routes to other areas.

I am pleased that there seems to have been no actual problem with the house and it is the location and service from our managers that the guests are not happy with.
The location I have explained and other reviews mention what people see as a good location. Indeed both comments either side of this guests stay praise location and managers in our guest book within the Villa.

I at no time suggested the pool remained unfilltered. Our pool guy was going round in the morning of 21st March as they arrived on the evening of 20th. The pool was losing water and we had realised this on the 20th. When called I advised that though the filter had been turned off for the time being that it was ok to use THAT DAY as it had chlorine and circulation but was answered with comments about stagnant water to which I quelled there fears (or so I thought).

Our managers do not meet every one. There details are on our notice board and the house is left clean and tidy with towels etc all left out. Only if they are called do they come around to solve any issues. It is pretty normal in a one week stay that they will not see guests unless called.
I received a txt from guests on the 21st after pool had been looked at and it stated all was good now and perfectly happy and sorry for any problems we had. I presumed all was then in order as we heard no more until the review was posted. Indeed the wrong bank details were initially given or the refund would have been even quicker. It was paid on 18th which is still more than a week inside the four week period suggested on the review posted some days earlier before we had clarified the situation.

We aim to keep our guests happy and respect there right to make comment. We do however require this to be accurate and some of the statements are simply not. Some are about opinion but for example we have been marked 1/5 for key access and yet the system has been in place for ten years and involved having a code to get firstly into the garden gate and then the same code for collecting keys. If they had not this info as suggested they simply would not have accessed the house so I fail to see how they had anything other than the correct information.

I sincerely hope this has clarified the review

"Lovely relaxing place"

This villa offers complete home from home comfort. The location is perfect, with shops, bars and Restaurants within easy walking distance so car hire is not essential. Car of Taxi gets you quickly to Del Duque, Las Americas and Los Christianos. We used the private heated pool every day. Lisa was a godsend, she put provisions in the Villa for our arrival after hearing we were going to arrive late due to a Flight delay, and texted us the next day to check that we were ok. Great holiday! and fantastic weather to boot.
