About the home

Casa E'cosse would be ideal for all forms of parties either families or a romantic couple. The pool lit up at night is a must see. Whether you stay in at night and enjoy the Villa or simply stroll down to the easily accessed restaurants and bars of Paraiso it is an ideal place to unwind and take in the sights and smells that surround this lovely part of Tenerife.

We are sure that you could happily lock the security gates once provisions have been seen to and with all the Books, Dvds, CDs plus TV channels or even the peace and quite not to mention the sun you could easily spend your entire holiday within Villa Casa E'cosse. On the other hand there is plenty just outside the door.

With 3 bedrooms (Two en suite) separate shower room containing WC and wash hand basin. Lounge seats 7 and TV has BBC 1&2 CH 4&5 &ITV plus ITV 2 +1. Kitchen fully fitted with all appliances. Private pool with shower. DVD&CD Players. Many books and DVDs dining area and bar area with outside dining seats 6 + 6 loungers. All bedrooms and Living room have ceiling fans but the traditional Canarian construction makes the Villa remarkably cool and ideal for escaping the endless sun. .

Casa E'Cosse is ideal for a peaceful holiday but 10-15 minutes walk into Playa Paraiso for more bars and restaurants. Statistically this area gets more sun than anywhere else on the island. Location lends itself to stunning views of both Sea and Mountains and La Gomera on most clear days. Nearest amenties are a mere 3-400m up the hill. There are a couple of bars and eatings places and a mini market which we find is even competitive with the larger supermarkets and fairly well stocked. They have there own heated breas also.. For those that wish to chill and walk into town it is ideal but for those who wish to explore further Avenida Adeje 300 which is the street Casa E'cosse is on is also a main bus route. Security gates and alarm system are there for additonal peace of mind. Private pool directly outside the patio is perfectly situated to always keep you cool in the inevitable Tenerife sun. The nearest Cafe/bar is Lino about 200m down the hill from the Villa

Each bedroom has access to a sun terrace with the master bedroom having a terrace to the rear and also a balcony to the front via the en suite. The 3rd Bedroom has patio doors leading directly out onto the terrace where the pool is located

Further details

Due to the fact that there are flights on every day of the week we no longer have a specific change over day, it is based purely on availability to suit our guests. Access to Villa not before 12 noon on day of arrival and by 10 am on day of departure, however if noone is due into Villa immediately after then by discussion with our house manager there should be no need to leave as early but we will need access to clean etc.
Smoking is not permitted within the house but is acceptable on the outside terraces.

We do have reviews with tripadvisor however due to a glitch these are not currently on Holiday Lettings we hope they will be back on line soon. You can however find our reviews on Tripadvisor.

Conditions

Bookings must be confirmed by £200 Deposit and paid in full 6 weeks prior. If booking is within 6 weeks booking is payable straight away. Bookings are taken at any available time without fixed day handover. All breakages must be reported and covered

The Tenerife region

The island of Tenerife is situated in the Atlantic ocean about 200 miles off the West African coast at just over 2000 square kilometres it is the largest of the seven main Canary Islands. Although small in size it has as many different climatic zones as a continent, you’ll see many different types of agriculture from potatoes to orange trees. To give an idea of the different types of landscape available at very small distances apart. The most important part of the island is of course mount Teide, its sheer size and height dominate the landscape for miles around. Mention was made of 'El Teide' and its snow mantled, fiery cone by Christopher Columbus as well as many other early explorers, some experts claim that even as recently as Columbus's time Teide was much higher and that since he first passed the mountain has imploded and lost a lot of its height. At three thousand seven hundred and eighteen metres it's still an impressive sight and features in the repertoire of any Tenerife guide giving information about Tenerife.

The Costa Adeje / Playa Paraiso, Tenerife area

Playa Paraiso is ideally located for all the attractions on the island. close at hand within Paraiso itself is the Lago Lido which is a large open air swimming pool. Further down the coast there are the towns of los Gigantes, san Juan and Santiago all within about a twenty minute drive and boast all the amenities you would anticipate from a sea side town. Towards Las Americas which is about a 15 minute drive the port at Puerto colon has all the water sports such as paragliding,jet ski, and diving while you can also dive and fish within the town of paraiso itself. Major attractions such as the brand new Siam park and Loro Park are easily accessed from the villa too. a 10 minute drive towards Fanabe arrives you at Gran sur a new shopping and eating complex complete with multi cinemas. Within Paraiso there are a selection of bars restaurants and shops while the town of Adeje itself higher up over the Motorway (TF1) has all the feel and atmosphere of a canarian town. something for all.

Love of fiestas is an essential part of the make-up of the Canary Islanders and the fiesta of fiestas is Tenerife Carnaval. Held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife every February or March, it’s the world’s third largest carnival after Rio and London’s Notting Hill Carnival. “Lovely relaxing place” This villa offers complete home from home comfort. The location is perfect, with shops, bars and Restaurants within easy walking distance so car hire is not essential. Car of Taxi gets you quickly to Del Duque, Las Americas and Los Christianos. We used the private heated pool every day. Lisa was a godsend, she put provisions in the Villa for our arrival after hearing we were going to arrive late due to a Flight delay, and texted us the next day to check that we were ok. Great holiday! and fantastic weather to boot.

"The details in the description and the photographs are accurate. The property is spotless, and well maintained. The customer service is excellent, the friendly owner could not have been more helpful - and his directions to the villa were so easy to follow we found it without so much as a cross word!

The main plus points for us were the total privacy and the facilities in the villa which feels like ''home from home'. All the local restaurants that we tried were excellent - beautifully cooked fresh seafood being our favourite.

If only someone would open a wee shop within e a s y strolling distance for morning rolls . . . . although there is a nice supermarket just up the road.

Not only would I recommend the property to a friend I booked it for the same time next year the day after we got home! MARION AND PETER, MIDLOTHIAN

"We would recommend this villa to anyone. It is ideally situated in a quiet residential spot, but is only 5 minutes walk to Playa Paraiso with good pubs and restaurants, and only 10 minutes drive to Playa de las Americas, Siam Park (not to be missed!), Aqualand etc., so you really can have the holiday to suit yourself. The house itself is superb, with all the space you need and great facilities. Everything you could possibly need is provided. Also, the patio/pool area is lovely and spacious with excellent sea views.We were here in early January and the weather was brilliant - also more than plenty pubs/restaurants open. There is also a good supermarket 5 minutes up the road. We have already booked the villa again and can't wait to go back! NEIL & TRICIA

It's hard to decide what the nicest way to end your day is here - lying by the lovely pool, catching the last of the sun - or wandering 200m down the hill to the bar overlooking the sea, waiting for the sunset and spotting the dolphins.

We did both.
The villa itself is large, clean, comfortable, cool and with plenty of privacy;

Playa Paraiso has all that you need - a selection of nice restaurants, a supermarket up the hill and another 500 metres away on the main strip - great steak, good Italian and also nice fish.

At the moment, April 2009, it is very quiet!

We visited Casa Ecosse in June 09 for 9 days and to be honest it just wasn't long enough. The villa itself is lovely and is exactly as advertised. We loved the balcony off the en suite was a godsend. My 8 year old son had an absolute ball in the pool which is where he spent most of his time. The area is lovely and peaceful and you cant help but feel safe and secure once the car was parked and the gates are locked at night. The owner Ian was an absolute pleasure to deal with and kindly sent us details of local restaurants etc to help us. We were also provided with directions that were spot on. The Dia store just up the road was very cheap and we shopped there most days. Would highly recommend the villa and we will definitely be going back next year.

Got back to UK yesterday after a fantastic time at your villa. Didnt access email when away as im sick of it when at work. Switched off phone and email and relaxed for 12 days

Your villa was brilliant and the video on you tube does not do it justice. The five of us had so much space and it felt like home for us all. The weather was as expected. The local bar (Lino) and restaurant were well visited and we explored all the local beaches. Went to Siam and drove into Fanabes and Torviscas regularly. Didnt need Angus and spoke to pool guy when he came out.
This was our first villa holiday and cant see us doing package tours again. It was everything we wanted and more. So a big thanks and we will be contacting you again. Are you OK if we recommend you to others??

Base cost £650 for two guests

Additions:- Pool Heating £40, Additional Guests at £20 each 4x£20=£80, Breakage deposit (refundable) £50

Total Due :- £820 for 6 guests with pool heated, £50 refundable

Example 2 (for similar week) :-

Base Cost for two guests £650, no additional guests, no pool heating required, £50 breakage deposit (refundable)

Total due :- £700 for two guests no pool heating £50 refundable

Please note although the pool is heated this is no longer included in the rental rates. The heating pump is required generally from October to April. In the summer months the climate is sufficient although it is very important to use the pool cover each night this ensures that the heat gained during the day remains largely within the pool and retains its temperature.

In the winter months the pool can be heated but this is charged at a rate of £40 per week (under £6 a day) we apologise for this but the heating costs are now considerable.

Deposit is £200 at time of booking, Balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival date. Please note if balance is not received week will be re advertised.
