The Penthouse is located less than 5 minutes walk from the exclusive Del Duque beach with white Sahara sand.

Those seeking a quiet and blissful holiday need look no further. Those looking for lively, loud and late-late parties need not enquire. Perfect peace in luxurious, immaculate surroundings within easy walking distance of designer shops and delightful restaurants. Bargains can be found at the local market which is held across the road twice a week.

The Penthouse is secure, safe and spotless. Thoroughly modern, though the layout is designed in the traditional Canarian style with a sunny central courtyard. A spiral staircase leads to an enormous roof terrace with sun beds, furniture and parasol.

All-day sunshine and direct private access to the swimming pool which is heated all year round.
Intercom entry, security staff and cameras to all areas for complete peace of mind. Wheelchair friendly.

All polished marble floors thoughout. Tastefully furnished and well equipped. Spacious sitting room with double patios to courtyard. DVD, Play Station 2, BBC, ITV and Sky.
Separate kitchen with dining table for 4. Utility room with ironing board and steam iron.
Front double bedroom with enchanting views of the Atlantic Ocean. Twin bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Both bathrooms have shower, tub, bidet, twin sinks and WC. Fitted wardrobes in both bedrooms and a security safe for valuables.

Egyptian cotton bed linen, with duvets in winter. Bathroom towels are provided, though not beach towels.

Further details outdoors:
Sunny central courtyard with table and cushioned chairs for 4. A sunblind can extend to cover the courtyard for comfort on very hot days. From here, a spiral staircase leads to the enormous private roof terrace, which is part of The Penthouse, not shared. Sun loungers with mattresses, table and chairs and parasol for shade. It is possible to see for miles from this superb elevated vantage point.

The Penthouse is one of just a few properties with direct private access to the swimming pool. The pool is heated all year, there is a baby pool, showers and sun loungers.
The Penthouse has a secure parking space if guests wish to hire a car.
Access is by lifts, there are no stairs to negotiate for wheelchair users or baby buggies.

English speaking person on hand to help with any problems. Rental includes a weekly linen change and final cleaning on departure. Airport pick-up and drop off available if required. Please notify us if you intend to hire a car.
Please note that we accept no responsibility for loss, accident or injury, personal or otherwise, suffered by anyone whilst staying at the apartment and strongly recommend that you arrange comprehensive travel insurance cover (including cancellation cover) prior to your holiday. Your insurance should also extend to personal belongings as this, including public liability, is not covered by the Owner's insurance.

Conditions

Payment is by cheque, a deposit of 1/3 on booking with full balance payable 8 weeks prior to holiday start date.
Guests are politely requested to ensure that The Penthouse is handed back in the same clean and tidy condition as on arrival, and any breakages are notified immediately and replaced.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is the perfect destination for all year round holidays. For over 30 years, tourists have visited Tenerife, although much has now been learned from previous mistakes and Playa Del Duque proves that Tenerife has grown into a far more sophisticated destination than the areas of Los Americas and Los Cristianos. The Penthouse is just 20 minutes by taxi from Tenerife South airport, which costs about 25 Euros.

Summers are hot and winters are warm and rarely below 16 degrees celcius. Known affectionately as the Island of Eternal Spring, just 60 miles off the coast of Africa, and just over 4 hours flying time from the UK, Tenerife makes a perfect short-haul winter escape. Many budget airlines offer cheap last minute flights to Tenerife. Contact us for up to date information about low-cost flights from the UK.

A must-see is Mount Teide, the highest mountain in all of Spain and also a volcano with the most incredible lunar landscape. Take the cable-car to the summit for truly memorable views and photos! The Island varies in flavour and climate from south to north, the north being more lush and green. It is possible to take a bus from outside The Penthouse to the capital, Santa Cruz for sightseeing and serious shopping. There is a Sunday flea market in Santa Cruz every week.

The Costa Adeje / El Duque area

Costa Adeje is famous not only for its beautiful white sandy beach, but also for its Golf Course, and there are many more to be found within less than 20 minutes by car or taxi. The area offers plenty of fitness, pampering and well-being establishments as the many 5 Star hotels surrounding the Penthouse have beauty, spa and gym facilities.

The nearby Plaza Shopping centre has everything the dedicated shopper could wish for including sumptuous food in a wide variety of restaurants. Take a taxi to Parque Santiago 3 and visit the Safari Shopping Centre with its beautiful musical fountains.

For activity seekers, all kinds of water sports are available, from jet-ski to scuba diving, fishing and sailing. Karting is fun and reasonably inexpensive, cycle hire is available locally.
Recently opened now is Siam Park, the largest water park in Europe.
The Aqua Park is nearby with dolphins to see, or take a bus to Puerto de la Cruz to Loro Park. Opening in 2008 is Siam Park just 10 minutes away.
