Whether you want to live life to the full or find a quiet corner to relax Tenerife can make you stay on the island unforgettable. Take a trip up the mountains or across the island and see Canarian traditions kept alive in the old towns. We are a family of four and had a great time here. The location is fantastic and we enjoyed views of the good sized pool whilst eating from the downstairs balcony and views of the sea whilst enjoying a glass of wine on the upstairs balcony! The location couldn't be better. The villa itself is very basic and in need of some updating, thought the bedding could do with being replaced but we were comfortable and found this to be excellent value for money. We will be returning next year!! This villa is home from home and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

"A lovely Peaceful holiday with every convenience!"
Myself and two friends stayed at El Beril the last week in September 2012. It was the perfect break for those wanting a peaceful break with everything you need close to hand. The place was very roomy, large living/dining/kitchen area with everything you needed for a self-catering holiday. The situation was perfect - the lounge and master bedroom overlooked the pool and sea beyond. It was idyllic and we spent our evenings (once we had returned from dining and drinking wonderful cocktails in El Duque) sitting on the balocony looking across the bay at the lights of Costa Adeje towards Playa De Las Americas. A beautiful sight. The backdrop and the view from the twin bedroom was palm trees and mountains so a really wonderful setting.
The property was next door to the supermarket (although it was far enough away not to adversely affect the privacy of the villa) where you could pop out and get fresh croissants for breakfast and a chilled bottle of wine in the evening! The local bars and restaurants were a 5 minute stroll away along the seafront - the standard of service in the restaurants was second to none and the food to die for! Not particularly cheap but certainly value for money. Our favourite was the Hacienda - eat indoors in the courtyard, a lovely dining experience and the waiters couldn't do enough! We also enjoyed long lunches at the Beach Café - beautiful fresh salads, tapas, and a great view.
The pool was great for kids with a large shallow area - we couldn't believe how quiet it was and many times we were lounging by the pool on our own and had the whole pool area to ourselves most of the day. It was great to have our own sun loungers which we could lock away each night - not that we really needed to do so with it being so quiet but I would imagine this would be a real bonus especially in the height of summer.
The only downside in the property was the lack of air-conditioning. It was very hot even at the end of September so I suspect it would be difficult to get much relief from the heat especially at night during July and August. The fans weren't really adequate to keep you cool - even ceiling fans would be an improvement.
All in all though I would thoroughly recommend E Beril and would definitely return. It's ideal for either a family or a group of friends. Other than the aircon issue we couldn't fault it!
