The Tenerife region
Of all the Canary Island’s tropical offspring, Tenerife is undoubtedly its most famously suntanned celebrity; its western sisters of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro, stars in their own right.
With year-round average temperatures of 23C/73F, the climate is the envy of Europe. But this is only one reason why the Canary Islands attracts millions of visitors every year. Some seek nothing more than to leave with a healthy glow and postcard memories of snoozing on golden sand. Others are keen to explore the mysteries that lie huddled within mountainous folds and deep valleys.
Whatever the reasons, at only four hours flying time from the UK, the province of Tenerife is a sub-tropical paradise that beckons you to return time and time again. Although geographically African, lying just over 150 miles off the west coast of Morocco, Tenerife is distinctly Spanish with whitewashed villages, swaying palm trees and a laid back demeanor that can switch into party mode at the merest mention of the word ‘fiesta’.
Costa Adeje / Principe Beach area
The quaint resort of Playa Paraiso is situated between the village of Callao Salvaje and El Puertito and has both a local residential and tourist population as well as four and five stars hotels.
In the apartment you’ll find documentation of touristic interest (excursions, gastronomy, Tenerife magazine, map…). You'll find as well two maps I've prepared myself with very good indications of the roads and the exact location of main restaurants, shopping centrums, night clubs...
At a short walking distance from the apartment you may enjoy the tropical swimming pool of the "Lake Lido" (see on the map Lago Lido), or if you prefer to pamper you and relax in warm water, the Spa "Azules de Nivaria" which is nextdoor and which offers brand new thermal circuit with warmed swimming pool, jacuzzi's, turkish bath, roman bath, ... for a very accessible price (see more details in "exterior" section).
INextdoor to the apartment, you have an excursion office where you can reserve any kind of excursion, daily or nocturne attractions with transport.
There is as well an office that offers services of internet, fax, western union, cheap telephone calls,…
On the maritime path in the same complex, there is a very good Italian restaurant that makes fresh pasta. In the area of Playa Paraiso, there are little local restaurant, a few bars and 2 local supermarkets (open 7/7 days 9am to 9 pm) that sell as well English products.
You may also enjoy the refined restaurants from different styles in the four and five stars hotels nearby, where external guests are welcome:
The “Roca Nivaria Gran Hotel” offers the Gavoe Buffet Restaurant with show cooking and ocean view as well as the Restaurant “A la carte” with international cuisine served by candlelight.
“The Bahia Principe Tenerife” and “Bahia Principe Costa Adeje” (www.bahia-principe.com) offer 5 restaurants especialized respectively in seafood, italian, spanish and international cuisine. There is as well a discoteca “La Fiesta”.
The next village, “Callao Salvaje”, at a few minutes drive, offers as well a few restaurants (French, English, Italian and Spanish ones)
The area is very quiet. For people who like to enjoy nightlife, Playa de Las Americas is at 10 minutes drive. By taxi it would be 20 €uros. If you rent a car, as it is advised, you can use the main roads to get there, which is quiet quick and easy.
How to get there
It is 20 minutes drive from the airport. The taxi would cost 35 €uros. If you prefer to rent a car, I represent the most important local car rent company, widely established on the Canary Islands, Niza Cars. I can book a car for you that would be available at the agency of the airport on arrival. They have an office at the airport and also one very near the apartment. During your stay you won't have to walk far to consult them for any questions you would need in relation with the car. The rent is associated with a nice attention: they would give you a glossy magazine with a serie of vouchers of reductions on a large variety of excursions, shows, ...

The living room with balcony to the sea-front. It has a sofa-bed, two individual relax-sofas, a Plasma TV, Satellite, DVD player, Hi-fi.
The american-style kitchen is fully equipped. It has a large fridge with freezer, a dishwasher, a washing machine, vitro ceramic cooker, a microwave, a hob, a kettler, a toaster.
The dining room is very sunlighted as it enjoys a crystal wall from floor to top that offers an uninterrupted view to the sea.
The master bedroom has a double bed (150cm wide) with build-in cupboards and a balcony to the mountain.
The second bedroom has two single beds (90cm wide) with build-in cupboards and a balcony to the mountain.
Each bedroom has a bathroom with each a washbasin, a toilet and a shower, more a bidet in one.
The apartment enjoys a private access from the outside and has a private staircase where you have on the ground floor enough space to leave buggys, bicycle, beach items, bags...
For people who need Internet connection there is an Internet cafe nextdoor, open from 10am to 10pm.
Children: many items for young children are available on request: cot, highchair, Prenatal park, buggies, table for bathing and changing young children
Further details outdoors: The apartment offers a huge solarium decorated with plants and that looks out on to the ocean. The solarium is furnished with a pergola equipped with a sliding awning (you may enjoy sun or shadow according to your preference and the hour of the day).
There is a set of 2 tables and 8 chairs. There is a BBQ and a sink (easy if you prefer to leave some plates and glasses there).
The solarium enjoys sun all day long and is private (no view from neighboors)
Swimming pool: the complex has no private swimming pool but you may enjoy the tropical swimming pool just at 100 meters walk. The "Lake Lido" will welcome you for a small charge in which comes included the sun beds and mattresses. It has a restaurant-bar and a playing area for children.
Spa: nearby the apartment, at a short walking distance, there is a brand new spa "Azules de Nivaria" linked to the five star hotel. It offers a very luxury and relaxing atmosphere with warmed swimming pools and jacuzzi's, turkish bath, roman bath... Spa entrance is 20€. The prices are lower if you buy various tickets as for example: (5 tickets = 85€), (10 entrances =145€), which makes the entrance at just 14,5€!
Further details
I will be at the apartment to welcome you on your arrival. When you book your flights, please check it doesn't arrive at night, because I may welcome you from early morning to late evening but I won't be available at night and I cannot leave you the key anywhere.
Check in and check out time: I organize the changeover day for the best confort of my guests. The day of your arrrival you will be able to enter the apartment immediately whatever time your flight would arrive (except night). The same, the day of your departure, you would be able to leave the apartment at the time you must go to the airport according to your flight schedules.
In order for me to arrange the changeover day for your best comfort and considering I must organize the cleaning between two occupations, I would be gratefull if you could give me your flight schedules.
Conditions
Prices listed are per property per week for 4 persons occupancy. Supplement of 35 €uro per person per week (except young children). the maximum occupancy is 6 persons. The cost includes water and electricity Short breaks: 4 nights minimum accepted when less than one week left in the availability calendar.
Deposit at booking: 25% of rental fee at the booking. It can be paid with credit card through secure payment PayPal system or by bank transfer. In case of a cancellation, the deposit won't be returned. Balance paid on arrival in cash euros.
Guaranty: Refundable breakages deposit of 300 €uros / 250GBP required on arrival to be refunded before departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). If your country doesn't belong to the €uro zone, you may pay it in your currency.
Linen and bathroom towels are provided. Beach towels are not provided No cleaning service is included. One linen service a week is included if required The cost includes water and electricity
Smoking: We adopt a non-smoking politic. It is strictly no smoking except on the balcony and solarium.
