The "Royal Garden Villas" is an innovative, exclusive five-star boutique villa resort - the only one of its' kind in the Mediterranean that we know of - comprising of twenty eight luxurious villas, set back on the hill-side overlooking the Costa Adeje Golf Course with magnificent views over the Atlantic Ocean and the island of La Gomera.
Each villa has a spacious terrace with its own compace heated swimming pool and terraces offering privacy. The villas are set in extensive grounds dotted between landscaped gardens and lantern-lit walkwaysand each has its own distinct style, decorated with luxurious antique and handmade furnishings brought from various parts of the world, and even breakfast is included!

The villas are designed to a luxurious standard, and the modern facilities include, plasma TV, DVD, complimentary Wi-Fi internet access, individual air-conditioning units in each room, telephone in each room, hairdryer, safety deposit box and a solar heated pool. There is also a fully equipped kitchen which includes all the modern electro-domestics and a bar with a selection of wines, alcoholic beverages and refreshments.(local charge)

The hotel facilities include an enormouse panoramic heated swimming pool, for the more energetic swimmers. Its surrounded by a wooden decking with ample sun-loungers and comes with a little bridge which leads to the reception. Talking of which, with its terracotta walls draped with white muslin curtains, the reception is every bit as good-looking as the rest of the place. And the hotel's restaurant follows suit. Fairy lights and lanterns hang down from the ceiling, giving the whole place a romantic feel, and crisp white tablecloths add a touch of elegance. As for the food, expect buffet breakfasts and à la carte dinners featuring fusion dishes made from the best local produce.

To keep fit there is a squash court (all equipment and hire of the court is free!) and fitness room. Other facilites include a magnificent spa 'golden pond' with free indoor heated swimming pool, 24hr reception,romantic bar, room service, private parking, green-fee reservations at the course opposite, buffet breakfast and a mini-market service to your villa. The services available locally for an extra charge include butler service, chef room service, babysitting, limousine service and yacht rental.

Royal Garden Villas is an ideal place for relaxation, where the gentle trickling of the fountain water and the luscious vegetation transports you straight to paradise, with even a beautiful Orchid Garden with many varieties from around the world. The Golden Pond Spa is a truly wonderful experience - The wood, stone and sculptures which adorn the Spa recreate an exotic Asian atmosphere. Set within this magical place is our indoor thermal circuit with Jacuzzi, waterfall, waterbeds, as well as a Turkish bath, hydro-massage showers, ice fountain and separate lounge for personalised beauty treatments so that both body and soul can experience the wonderful feeling of luxury and wellbeing.

Last but not least, a word on location. The hotel is just a twenty-five minute walk from the small fishing village of La Caleta, where you'll find a handful of shops and restaurants. Plus there's a golf course across the road. The great Costa Adeje Course with 10% of green fees for styaing here. Thee is a great restaurant and bar here too.

The Tenerife region

The largest island of the Canaries, Tenerife is interesting for the wide range of landscapes it offers.

The Costa Adeje area

The beautiful scenery throughout the Canary Islands and their Atlantic culture contribute to the pleasures derived from the island climate and the sea without having to give up nature excursions or cultural visits. This is especially true on the island of Tenerife, where the marked contrasts and dramatic beauty of its scenery, as well as the rich traditions, can be indulged in at the two large, renowned tourist centers: one in the fertile north, the other in the sunny south.

Puerto de la Cruz is the oldest tourist center in the Canaries. Since the 19th century, it exists as a famous place of rest and relaxation due to its mild climate and lovely surroundings. It is located by the sea at the foot of the fertile Orotava valley on the northern coast of the island. The harbor is an enclave that blends with the tropical valley, and its streets, filled with trees and flowers, are ideal for strolling. Particularly lovely are the Paseo Marítimo promenade and Lake Martiánez, a dramatic area of natural pools created by the great artist from Lanzarote, César Manrique. In the outskirts of the city, there are lovely spots that should not be missed, including the prestigious Botanical Gardens, and the aviary, Loro Park. A large number of excursions to all kinds of places of interest are possible from here by foot and by car, only a short distance from the city.

Another way to enjoy the sun and sea is at the tourist resorts of the south, where it is more arid and with a better climate. Playa de las Américas-Los Cristianos certainly stands out with its wide variety of lodgings, restaurants, bars, night spots, and other amenities for the comfort of the tourist. All along the southern coast, there are other smaller resorts, including El Médano for windsurfing, Costa del Silencio and Los Gantes; each one with a personality of its own.
The southern part of the island is perfect for relaxing on the beach, swimming in the sea, and practicing water sports, especially windsurfing.
Farmlands Under the Volcano

Of all the attractions in the Canary Islands, the imposing Pico de Teide volcano, the highest mountain in all of Spain, is undeniably one of the most well-known. It rises 3,718 meters (12,195 ft.) above sea level from a large volcanic depression located at an altitude of 2,000 meters (6,560 ft.) in the central part of the island of Tenerife. This assembly of strange forms and colors of solidified lava, exclusive flora, and the geological singularity make Teide National Park the most visited one in Spain.

The amiable and garrulous nature of the people in Tenerife relish the celebrations and festivals. Many traditional festivals have been preserved on the island, including the famous Carnavales. There are few islanders who do not prepare their Carnival costumes months in advance or who don't form part of a group of minstrels.
