Home description

Beautiful, luxurious apartment with 3 large bedrooms overall a very large apartment. Master bedroom has kingsize bed & own en-suite with bath / shower vanity unit Bidet & toilet , wardrobes & Bedside cabinets & chest of drawers. It also has a secure safe for your use.

Second bedroom also has a kingsize bed wardrobes & bedside cabinet. Bedroom 3 has twin beds,wardrobe & bedside cabinets. Both rooms sharing the main bathroom which includes bath/shower, vanity unit ,bidet & toilet.

There is also a Travel cot for use. PLEASE DO NOT USE FOR OLDER CHILDREN FOR SAFETY REASONS.

All bedrooms have french doors leading onto the terrace. The large lounge/diner also has french doors opening onto the terrace. The dining room has a large dining table with 6 chairs. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you can think of wireless network, Cable Tv, Dvd player, CD/radio ,a great store of dvd for your use & many books to read. There is a separate kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, kettle, microwave, fridge-freezer. In the utility room off of the kitchen you will find the boiler & washing machine.

The apartment is in a lovely building with reception & lifts to all floors & includes 24 hour security cameras & night security guard .

The Tenerife region

This lovely apartment is furnished to a high standard to ensure you have a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. It is situated in the stylish del Duque area of Costa Adeje which merges with Fanabe. It is well known for its upmarket restaurants and shops.The area in which the apartment is located is called El Duque in Costa Adeje, and is often referred to as the best area in southern Tenerife or the "Beverley Hills" of the Canaries. With regard to our location to other hotels etc, the apartment is near to the 5 Star Gran Hotel Costa Adeje.
It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and is close to all amenities. Just seven to ten minutes walk from the apartment is Playa del Duque It has the best beach in the area This is considered by many to be the best beach in the whole of Tenerife. With its golden sand imported from the Sahara, beach huts and grass umbrellas, there is no better place to relax with a book, take a swim or just have a paddle.

Whilst at the beach, why not indulge yourself and try the delicious ice cream from the Del Duque Café in front of the Grand Hotel Bahía del Duque.The white beach of El Duque is without doubt the finest beach of the South, and is overlooked on the left hand side by the historical Castle 'Casa del Duque' and the famous 5 star Hotel Bahía del Duque, one of the Leading Hotels of the World. The immediate surroundings offer the Plaza Del Duque commercial centre with designer shops, fine restaurants and bars. This all adds up to a perfect area for people who value luxury and tranquillity.

The Weather....
The Canary Islands, of which Tenerfie is the largest, are only a four hour flight from the UK, and being off the coast of North Africa (near the Sahara) have glorious weather all year round. During the summer months, the average daytime temperature is around 28C, but there are some days when it is in the early thirties. Even in the evening, the temperature rarely falls below 16C. At 12,199 feet, Mount Teide is the highest mountain on Spanish territory. It is a long climb up some pretty twisty roads but is well worth the effort.
It is advisable to get a car with a moderately sized engine, or to take one of the many tours that operate on a daily basis.
The massive volcanic crater is 30 miles in circumference and 10 miles in diameter with Teide rising above to the north. The last lap to the top is by cable car and then on foot, which is suitable only for the more adventurous. The rock formations in the crater floor are bizarre and unlike any other landscape.





Costa Adeje area

Whether you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday or great nightlife this is just the place for you. Situated in a quiet spot, it is only a 10 - 15 min walk or short taxi ride to the great nightlife Tenerife has to offer. By night the promenade is well lit, and fantastic for an evening stroll. With soft music playing and numerous restaurants lining the route, what more could you wish for. If its nighclubsyou are looking try Veronicas strip in Las Americas( just 10 mins in a taxi ) has lots of bars, restaurants & nightclubs there is something for everyone.
Five mins walk from the apartment is a shopping centre with restaurants, a Chinese, Italian & a Cafe/bar. There is also a large ball park playing area for young children & crazy golf. Opposite this shopping centre there is a large market twice a week, Thursday & Saturdays 9a.m until 2 p.m. Don't forget to use your bartering skills to secure a good bargain on those terrific leather goods.

Just 5 mins in a taxi or a 30 minute stroll along the beach front is the lovely fishing village of La Caletta , with many seafood restaurants to choose from.
10 Mins walk in the opposite direction is Fanabe, with many restaurants & bars to choose from. You will also find many water sports available on this Fanabe beach.

Further along is porta Colon, Las Americas & Los Cristianos all within easy reach, either by taxi or if you enjoy a good stroll, a lovely coastal walk there and a taxi back is a great way to fill your day.

Just a five minute walk from the apartment is a bus stop which allows you to get virtually anywhere you want to go, whether it is Playa de Las Américas, Los Cristianos, Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz etc.

Good places to visit are Los Gigantes (nice quiet resort), Santa Cruz for the shopping (bus station is right next to El Corte Ingles - the biggest store on the Island) and Puerto de la Cruz for Loro Parc (really good zoo).
Titsa is the name of the Islands bus service. In the Canaries, buses are called Guaguas, rather than the normal Spanish word Autobus.

Loro Parque has to be one of the great attractions of Tenerife. It is in the North of the Island in Puerto de la Cruz and can be reached by car, bus or a coach trip. It has the world's largest collection of Parrots, and daily shows have them flying around and performing tricks. Other animals include Gorillas, Chimpanzees, Tigers and marine life. Of particular interest is the Dolphin show, the Sea Lion show and the wonderful Penguin display, with real snow! You can either buy tickets at the gate, or if you prefer you can buy all-inclusive coach and entrance tickets.

Just 5 euros in a taxi gets you to the Aqua park it is great for the adults & kids. They have a fantastic dolphin show and you can also learn how to scuba dive. (scuba diving extra cost approx 10 euros for 10/15 mins) You may purchase tickets at the gate or buy at many of the tourist outlets in the resort before you go, were transport is usually provided. We recommend you buy your tickets before you go so you do not have to wait in long queues.

If you are hireing a car you dont need to worry about parking, there are underground car parks all over the island and near to the beaches.

The apartment complex (gardens,corridors, lifts, pools etc ) are kept immaculately clean throughout. Six days a week.

The large terrace has a lovely table & 6 chairs & also 4 sun loungers for your use. A washing line & pegs are provided. There is a good sized comunal outdoor heated pool & a separate heated pool for younger children.The pool area has many sun loungers & sun umbrellas for your use. The apartment building has large corridors & lifts to all floors & is push chair & wheel chair friendly. A welcome pack is available on request when booking your holiday.

If you hire a car there are plenty of spaces to park just outside the complex.

The Client is strongly advised to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy for all parties (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc., since this is not covered by the Owner's insurance. The swimming pool is heated all year round.

A deposit of £75 per week is required on booking. Deposit is non refundable on cancellation.

Remaining balance paid on arrival.
Refundable breakages deposit of £75 required when balance is paid. To be refunded after inspection for breakages etc and return of keys. Obviously we expect our property to be treated with respect. We would like to keep it nice for everyones enjoyment.
Strictly NO SMOKING except on terrace.

The book provided in the apartment on good places to eat & places to visit was a great help, this was our first visit to Tenerife & we loved it, Having such a luxurious apartment added to our pleasure.It was great to know our two young children could safely play out on your large terrace area.
