Home description

This part of the complex is on 2 levels and this apartment has the advantage of being on the upper level which means it is very quiet as there is no one above you.

It's a one bedroomed apartment. The spacious lounge consists of a 3 seater sofa bed in luxurious suede, with velvet cushions and armrests. Glass coffee table and occasional table, TV on modern stand with glass doors and turn table to swivel the TV to the required angle. Decorated with attractive wall lights and modern pictures. This room also has air-conditioning and sun screen lining on the curtains. Patio doors lead on to the terrace with patio table, four chairs, clothes dryer and views over the Atlantic Ocean, Las Americas and Los Cristianos. The balcony also has a retractable sun blind.

Kitchen is well equipped with full oven and 4 ring ceramic hob with extractor fan. Full fridge and separate freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. Good selection of crockery and cutlery and plenty of storage space for food etc. There is a dining table and four chairs.

Lovely bathroom is ornately tiled and has fantastic power shower with massage facility. Large mirror with 2 lights above and additional spotlights on ceiling and a main light. Wash basin with ample storage in the cupboards and shelving below. 2 towel rails and dressing gown hanger. Washing machine also housed here.
Bedroom has 2 single beds which can be arranged separately or together. Two 3 drawer rustic style bedside tables and wall lights above, as well as the 3 spotlights on the ceiling fan. Ample storage in the triple built in wardrobe which has hanging space, shelving and drawers.

The Tenerife region

Altamira is a front line apart hotel in the upmarket area of of Adeje next to the Del Duque amongst all the five hotels, away from the normal tourist areas and yet close enough for those who wish to enjoy these attractions If you want something more lively in the evening then a short taxi ride to las Americas is around eight euros.. A Short stroll along the front will find you in Bahia del Duque beach, regarded as the best on the island. Restaurants abound and for shopaholics, designer shops, supermarkets and even local outdoor markets are within easy reach. You can also visit the Tacandi renown Spa. Also La Calleta famous for beautiful fish restaurants

For families Altamira is ideal, your children can enjoy all the daytime pleasures they desire. Come night its mom and dads turn to sit back, relax, open a bottle of wine and enjoy!


Costa Adeje / El Duque area

Suitable for families with children as there is a separate child's pool (children are made welcome everywhere). Restaurant, cafe and poolside snack bar on site. Table tennis and pool tables available. Also residents lounge with library.

Coast/Beach
The beautiful del Duque beach is only 100 yards away. 2 mins walk to the beach. Leisure activities can be enjoyed in Tenerife all year round due to its sunny climate and pleasant temperature. Sporting facilities close by are para-gliding, wind-surfing, sailing, surfing, water-skiing, fishing, scuba-diving, whale and dolphin watching, swimming, cycling, golfing, jogging, go-karting, walking and roller-blading. The aqua park and adventure parks are within easy access.

Golf
Golf tourism in Tenerife is vibrant. There are 7 golf courses open for play. Costa Adeje is the closest, but Golf las Americas, Golf del Sur, Amarilla Golf and Los Palmos (a 9 hole par 3 course) all easily accessible. To the north of the island, there are 2 further courses, in addition to one on the neighbouring island of La Gomera.

Travel
The nearest airport is Reina Sofia, Tenerife South. Car hire is easy but not essential as taxis are reasonable and there is public transport as well. Distance from the airport approx 20 mins by car. Detailed directions are available upon booking.

Distances
Santa Cruz is about 80km away in the north of the Island and is the cosmopolitan capital of Tenerife. Playa de las Americas, with its vibrant night life is 10 mins away by taxi.

The beautiful Del Duque Shopping complex , boasting names like Cartier ans Mango, with first class restaurants is only ten minutes walk away. Supermarket with freshly baked bread and good selection of beach accessories etc is just across the car park. Also here are tavernas and cafes - one of which sells chicken and chips with salad to eat in or take out (to the beach).

The Masca experience is unforgettable with the most awe-inspiring scenery on the walk down to the sea, then back by boat when you may see dolphins! Spoilt for choice on the 'Island of eternal Spring'. All special tours can be booked at the hotel reception, coaches will collect, lots and lots to do absolutely ideal for families - it speaks for itself families just keep coming back year after year.

Self-cater if you wish, however all on site facilities are available if required, including 24hr reception, bar and lounge, restaurant, snack bar, swimming pools, plus extensive sun terraces and gardens, the sea is just yards away.

• Deposit of 30% is due when the client confirms the booking. The following cancellation charges will apply: – 56+days= deposit, 28-41days= 50%, 14-27days= 75% and 0-14days= 100%.

• Balance of the rent is payable not less than 8 weeks before start of rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the Agent reserves the right to give notice in writing, that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

Payment is made by credit cards, small charge of 3.5% is added for the service

• The Client is strongly advised to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability etc., since this is not covered by the Owner's insurance.

• The rental period will commence at 1600hrs on the first day and end at 1000hrs on the last day. We will not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the Client will not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.

Prior to arrival if possible you can negotiate additional hours in the room (say late flight etc.,) only if apartment is available and it definitely has to be arranged PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

• The number of people occupying the apartment must not exceed the number of persons agreed on when confirming booking.

• The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the property and its contents, and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. You agree to report to us without delay any defects to the property or breakdown of equipment/appliances within the property or building in which it is located. We will arrange to repair or replace as soon as possible, if out of our control we will report to the right people.On arrival you agree to co-operate in checking the inventory of the property. Before your arrival our staff will have made their own checks. Our staff will also provide quantities of bedding applicable to the size of your party. Plus any options (such as towels). You are responsible for ensuring that details of any items missing or damaged are reported immediately to our representative on the number provided. Any discrepancy otherwise between the starting inventory and the items checked after your departure or anything arising from the behaviour or negligence of you or a member of your party then a charge will be billed to you at the cost of repair or replacement. Under this agreement you consent to us billing any such supplementary charges to your credit card following your stay.

There is no call out charges for genuine emergencies beyond your control, such as leaks, break-ins or any problem that requires urgent repair to maintain habitability and safety to you, members of your party and the property. If the call out involves the loss of keys or anything arising from the behaviour or negligence of you or a member of your party then a charge from 50 Euros will be made to the credit card which you used to make your booking for each occasion. Under this agreement you consent to us billing any such supplementary charges to your credit card following your stay.
