The property boasts four large private terraces giving you unrivalled 360 degree views of a magnificent skyline to include the fortified cites of Vittoriosa and Senglea, Dockyard Creek, the Grand Harbour, Cottonera Lines, the capital city of Valletta and the numerous baroque basilicas and churches. The vista is the best of its type on the Island.

Each terrace is designed and fully equipped not only to give you breathtaking views and all day sunshine but also to breakfast, sunbathe, lounge, dine, BBQ and entertain up to eight people dining on or can cater even for a large drinks party, if that is not then enough chillaxe in the six person heated Jacuzzi located on the terrace that captures the best views and sun all day.

A few meters away on foot takes you to the exclusive super yacht waterfront marina of Vittoriosa with a parade of fine restaurants catering for various tastes and the Casino Di Venezia, on the opposite side of the creek and again a few meters on foot you will find the Senglea waterfront with quaint cafes and restaurants more favoured by the locals.

The property is situated close to the innovative Development of SMART CITY and a 10 minute walk will lead you to places like Kalkara Creek - a picturesque village with a sandy beach appropriate for swimming and diving.

Fort Rinella, The Palace of The Spanish Inquistor and the Mediterranean Film Facility where famed films like Troy and Gladiator have been filmed.

The impressive fortified baroque Capital city of Valletta is a 10 minute bus ride or a short distance by water taxi. There you will find lots of shops, some big retail brands and plenty of cafes and restaurants to explore and enjoy. The clubbing area is Paceville and St Julians - and pubs, clubs and many restaurants are all concentrated around these areas - however larger clubs like Gian Pula and Numero Uno are both in the central part of the Island - close to Zebbug Area.

A quaint Mediterranean island with a population of just over 400,000 and located some 58 miles nautical miles from Sicily, Malta is a true gem of the sea. Being in the southern part of Europe, Malta is gifted with an idyllic climate boasting an average annual temperature of 23°C (73 °F). The average annual temperature of the sea is 20 °C (68 °F) (the highest in the continent of Europe)

Throughout history, Malta's location has given it great strategic importance and a sequence of powers including the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans,Arabs, Normans, Aragonese), Knights of St John, French and the British ruled the islands. Malta gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1964 and became a republic in 1974, whilst retaining membership in the Commonwealth of Nations. Since 1964 it has been a member of the United Nations and in 2004 it joined as member of the European Union. Malta is also party to the Schengen Agreement and in 2008 it became part of the eurozone.

The country's official languages are Maltese and English.

The islands are internationally renowned as a tourist resort, with numerous recreational areas and historical monuments, including nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites, most prominently the Megalithic Temples which are some of the oldest free-standing structures in the world.

Cospicua

The Three Cities

A collective description of the three fortified cities of Cospicua, Vittoriosa, and Senglea on the Island of Malta, which are enclosed by the massive line of fortification created by the Knights of St John, the Cottonera Lines. These three towns form part of the area surrounding the Grand Harbour and are found on the eastern side of the capital city Valletta. Its population was 5,658 as of March 2011. Cottonera is usually taken to include these Three Cities and Kalkara.

Cospicua has been inhabited since Neolithic times. Prior to the 18th century it was known as Bormla, a name which is still in use. Its fortification walls, constructed to protect the town and its neighbours Birgu and Isla, were built by the Knights of Malta. Construction began in 1638 but was not completed for another 70 years. In 1722, Grand Master Marc'Antonio Zondadari declared Bormla a city and in view of its strong bastions named it Città Cospicua.

It's maritime facilities started during ancient times around the Phoenician era c. 600 BC. In 1776, the Order of St. John started to construct a dockyard, which was to play a vital role in the development of this city and later became known as Dockyard Creek....." the baroque jewel of maritime Europe"

"Amazing Apartment & Location"

We have recently returned from our stay in Malta, we had an amazing time.
It's a luxury apartment, extremely well equipped with spectacular views from the terrace where we had breakfast every morning, what a way to start the day and then unwind at night in the hot tub!
The location was perfect, minutes from the apartment the bus stop providing cheap travel all round Malta or take the boat ride over to Valetta the capital its cheap and take in the beautiful scenery. Shops for food & drink are minutes from the apartment and 5 minute walk you'll come across restaurants.
We'd like to thank David the house manager throughout the booking process & airport transfers nothing was a problem to ask him.
If your looking for luxury at a good price, culture, location & breathtaking views then have no hesitation in booking this apartment, you'll not be disappointed!

"modern luxury in a location full of culture"

We had a lovely stay at the Penthouse Cottonera and recommend it to anyone planning to visit Malta.

We were welcomed by a friend of the owner who took time to walk us through the apartment, which really made us feel welcome. It had all the modern comforts of a luxury home, it was very clean, air-conditioned, had beautiful views and when the temperature dropped, we were able to relax in the hot tub on one of four terraces.

In terms of the location, you will be right in the heart of the three cities so you will get a good idea of how the locals live and be immersed in all the old architecture. It's a short walk to the ferry stop and bus stops to Valetta and other central locations. It is also a short walk to the fabulous restaurants on the Birgu marina.

We chose this location as we were not interested in the new build condos and clubbing in Sliema or Paceville.

If you want modern luxury in a location full of culture, this place is for you.
