"You get what you pay for but i wouldn't stay here again"
We were attracted to this property because of the reasonable price and the beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself is cosy, good for a couple and you're close enough to towns to explore and pi… More
The 2 young girls booked the cottage over the New Year week. They seemed very pleased with cottage for the whole week and did not complain about anything quite the contrary.
The cottage was spotless and warm when they arrived, the heating was on from 7am - 10 am and 4pm to 11pm for the days they were there, plus a constant supply of logs for the wood burner. They were greeted with usual pot of tea and cakes, chocs on the coffee table and milk in the fridge
When the girls were leaving I looked in the cottage and was so shocked at the state they had left it in, I made the mistake of saying that in all the years of letting the cottage, I had never seen it in such a state and I presume that is what has caused this outburst.
Over many years of letting our cottage we have never had any complaints about cleanliness, quite the reverse.
I leave it to any potential guests to make their own minds after reading this review and my response. We are both saddened and hurt by these comments.
