A brand new luxury 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom 1st floor apartment with stunning views overlooking the Jose Maria Olazabal designed PGA affiliated 18 hole championship golf course on the gated resort of Corvera Golf & Country Club.
It is situated at the highest point of the resort overlooking the 17th green and 18th tee, with a fabulous golf and mountain view to the front of the property and a secluded private area at the rear overlooking the perimeter of the resort and the boundary of the Sierra de Carrascoy Mountain National Park.
The apartment is furnished to a very high standard (see later for full details) with all the "mod cons necessary to enjoy that well-deserved break! There is a small secluded pool and sun bathing area within 25 meters of the apartment and it is ideal for golfers, sun lovers and families alike. The solitude and beauty of the area has to be personally experienced to truly appreciate it!
The newly completed championship golf course is now open and is receiving some excellent reviews - it is also the new winter home for the PGA of Europe. The new international airport of Corvera is only 5 minutes from the resort and is expected to open in 2012. The airports of San Javier (35km) and Alicante (55 km) are within easy reach as is the cultural centre of Murcia and historical city of Cartagena.

Corvera Golf & Country Club is located just outside the small traditional Spanish town of Corvera and at the edge of the Sierra de Carrascoy mountains, a protected national park. It is only 20-30 km from the two major cities in the region, Murcia and the historical city of Cartagena and only a short half an hour drive to the beaches of the Mar Menor and Mediterranean, collectively forming part of the coastline in the region of Costa Calida.
Costa Calida: is located in the South East of Spain and extends 250Km from the beach in Carolina in Aguilas (a few kilometres from the province of Almeria) right the way to the beach at El Mojon on the boundary of Alicante. The region is famous for the Mar Menor, a large inland sea lagoon separated from the Mediterranean Sea by the La Manga Strip. It has one of the best climates in Spain with an average of 315-320 days of sunshine per year with an average summer temperature of 28 degrees and an extremely inviting warm winter average of about 18 degrees.
The area offers a wide range of activities including all types of water sports, sunbathing/swimming, golf, cycling, hiking and much more. The World Health Organisation describes the region as one of the healthiest places in the world to live mainly due to the chemical composition of the Mar Menor which is said to be therapeutic and to alleviate such ailments as arthritis, rheumatism, tendinitis and joint ailments, various skin problems as well as enhancing blood flow around the body.
The Corvera / Corvera Golf and Country Club area
Corvera Golf and Country Club is a gated resort located just outside of the small traditional Spanish town of Corvera (to be accessed shortly by a new International airport currently under construction) and at the edge of the Sierra de Carrascoy National Park. The golf course, which has recently been completed, is a championship standard course designed by the famous Spanish and Rider Cup golfer Jose Maria Olazabal and has been selected to be the PGA of Europe's winter head quarters.
Corvera Town is a couple of miles away, it is typically Spanish and has half a dozen bars and restaurants, a supermarket, variety of shops and lively market to keep you occupied when you are not relaxing / sunbathing / golfing or enjoying the beach activities of the nearby Mar Menor.
If you fancy some shopping why not visit the regional capital of Murcia (no more than 20 minutes away by car), and enjoy a fine meal or cup of coffee / glass of wine in one of the many restaurants and bars located there? Or perhaps if you are interested in some Spanish history, why not visit the old historical city of Cartagena and learn all about the times of the Roman occupation over 2000 years ago?

Thanks to its excellent location, Corvera Golf & Country club is just 15 minutes away from Murcia, 5 minutes from its future Internation airport and 25-30 minutes from the water and beaches of the Mar Menor. It is little more than 3 hours from Madrid by car and with direct access from the development to the A-30 Motorway, it is within easy reach of many of the major cities of Spain and Europe.
How to get there by plane:
San Javier (Murcia) Airport 45 km and Alicante Airport (55km). The new international airport of Corvera (which is currently under construction) is only going to be 5 minutes away!
How to get there by car:
Take the Highway A-30
Take exit 408 and follow signs towards Corvera.
Drive right the way through Corvera and 100 meters after leaving the town take a right turn sign posted to the resort

The apartment was very, very good. There were only the two of us, so there was plenty of space. The apartment was well equipped and the bedrooms were light and airy. There is a sun-trap balcony, which would have benefited from a table to put drinks etc on it. |

- Meet & Greet by our Spanish Agent during normal office hours (Mon - Sat 10am - 7 pm)
- Cleaning and Bed Linen charges (minimum of 2 weeks rental)
SUPPLEMENTS
- Cleaning of Bed Linen and towels a supplement of £15 per person over and above 2 people sharing
- Meet & Greet by Spanish Agent - a supplement of £25 applies outside of normal office hours.
- A cleaning supplement of £50 will apply to any bookings less than a 2 weeks stay.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- A non-refundable deposit of £100 per week rental is required to confirm your booking
- Full balance is required 6-8 weeks prior to your arrival
- A £100 security / damage deposit is required at the time of balance payment, to be refunded after satisfactory inspection by our agent after deparure
- This is a non-smoking apartment. Smoking is allowed however on external terraces, as long as the doors to the apartment are closed!
