About the home

Our 3 Bed Penthouse Apartment is located on the brand new Corvera Golf and Country Club Resort.

With the tranquil location and stunning views of the beautiful surrounding areas this penthouse is truly the perfect location for a relaxing stay in the sun!

Corvera Golf course was designed by the renowned Spanish golfer Jose Maria Olazabal and is a spectacular 18 hole par 72 course.

The course at Corvera is surrounded by beautiful scenery and promises to bring the best shots out of any keen golfer!

The apartment has a spacious living and dining area with two bathrooms one of which is an En Suite, the 3 bedrooms consist of one double, and two single rooms; additional fold away beds are available on request to allow for up to 5 guests.

The apartment is centrally heated/air conditioned throughout and boasts two private rooftop terraces with BBQ and al fresco style dining set to ensure you make the most of the wonderful weather that Murcia has to offer!

The apartment is furnished to a high standard throughout and is fully equip to ensure that all your needs are catered for.

The living area at Corvera has a 32 inch wide screen TV, DVD Player, seating for 5 people, a dining area and access onto the private roof terrace, with stunning views of the golf course and surrounding areas.

In the kitchen you will find a cooker, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, toaster and kettle, everything you need to enjoy your stay at this wonderful apartment!

There are numerous swimming pools located on the resort with the nearest being just outside our apartment which is clearly visible from our roof terrace.

On the resort of Corvera you will find a small bar selling fresh food, drinks and snacks.

The town of Corvera is just a short distance away where there are supermarkets, banks and a few bars and restaurants to choose from.

There is an Equestrian Centre at Corvera offering lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders, with discounts for any Corvera residents.

With the tennis and paddle courts at Corvera, there really is something for everyone!

“Perfect for a quiet getaway” We booked the apartment knowing the status regarding the (lack of) facilities on the resort. If you're looking for a quiet break, with a great golf course on your doorstep, and don't mind a short drive to the shops/bars/restaurants, then Corvera is perfect for you. If you like a bustling hive of activity within walking distance, with English pubs, karaoke, and the like then stay away for a few years. The apartment was great, and everything was in working order. However we were surprised to find that it comprised a double and two single bedrooms as opposed to a double, a twin and a single. Nevertheless we had a great time golfing, cooking/eating, drinking, and making our own entertainment.

“suited my needs perfectly” The apartement is on the top floor which is great for views and escaping noise, the lfit is lovely and clean and serves to carry up suitcases and shopping. The accomodation was spacious on 2 levels, the bedrooms all had plenty of hanging space and comfortable beds, lovely full length windows that opened fully allowing plenty of fresh air and views of the pool to keep an eye on the older kids with me. The kitchen is rather compact but absolutely sufficient for my 6 week stay ! The lounge on the top floor has lovely views of the golf course and leads onto the very large top balcony which is lovely and secluded, great for sunbathing, peaceful read or entertaining, able to see the kids in the pool from here with a peep over the wall. The apartment overlooks the pool from the front and the golf course from the back. Remember to take your binoculars. This apartment absolutely suited my 6 week family holiday in the sun, the kids had the pool and I had the peace, There was a small bar/cafe area on the complex which was a pleasant 10 minute walk away, the village was a half hour gentle walk away, which was very pleasant at night but in the heat of the day rather a trek, I had a car for half of my holiday but chose to explore on foot the second half. The village has several eating options, shops and a supermarket, it is very "local" with no signs of tourism, when we were able to communicate with the locals they were very friendly and helpful but do practice your Spanish ! The Spar shop in the village will deliver your shopping for you, they used to give us a lift back too ! There is a very basic internet shop in the village a few doors down from the Spar, it is very basic indeed but will do the job if you need to log on from time to time, you can make telephone calls from her too. There is a good bus route through the Village every few hours or so to Murcia or Cartegena, I used this quite a lot and the driver got to know us and would ensure we got on and off in the right places occasionally entertaining us with music en route and a gorgeous smile ! There is a market in the streets of Corvera each Sunday, great for fresh fruit, basic clothing, bag and shoes and souveneirs. After shopping go into the bar on the corner with the Car front on the roof and lap up the local atmosphere of wrinkly old men meeting with their friends and enjoying an early morning tipple. Loved it. In my opinion this is a great apartment if you are looking for a holiday where you want to do your own thing and not be tripping over lots of other people, the beach, airport and larger shopping Malls are all a reasonable drive away of approx half an hour. I used to sit on the Beach and watch my Husband and other family members flights fly over, I would pack up my towel and drive the few minute drive to greet them at the lovely little airport of Murcia, the parking there is great, no hassle, easy in easy out, all parking just a minute walk from the main doors. We enjoyed the non tourist atmosphere of the area, attempting to converse with the locals and exploring. The new airport of Corvera, when open will be only a few minutes car ride to the apartment, one straight road from the village but not obvious to the eye, my Husband reckons if we go back there he will cycle the route rather than hire a car !!!
