Only 30 minutes drive from St Malo, it is easily accessible to beaches, historic towns and amenities. A perfect retreat for couples or families providing peace and tranquility. With quiet lanes this is a superb location for guests who enjoy cycling or walking through the countryside. The local village of Corseul is only a short distance and has ancient Roman ruins as well as a small museum. The village also has a boulangerie, pharmacie, post office, mini mart and bars. Plancoet is 10 minutes away and has all amenities including a large supermarket.

The Brittany / Cotes-D'Armor region
Brittany - a region full of history and charming sites to visit. Reputed home of Arthur & the Knights of the Round table this area is steeped in history and there are many wonderful sights to see. You are keen walkers then we can provide a guide with maps for the some beautiful regional walks You are one of our little friends - we have wonderful zoo parks in the region with lots of animals to see and of course bouncy castles !! You enjoy good food and wine - we have a list of recommended restaurants where the menus are just mouthwatering You like sightseeing - we have medieval towns, castles and chateaus all within a short driving distance.
Corseul area
Come and visit the beautiful picturesque town of Dinan with half timbered houses, quaint shops and stunning art galleries. Walk the ramparts of the castle and visit the castle museum. Enjoy superb food at one of the restaurants on the port and then take a walk along the towpath to the pretty village of Léhon. If you are feeling adventurous take the steep climb back up the winding Rue Jerzual to the centre of the old town. Have another beer when you get to the top! Sample traditional galettes,locally made cider and cheeses at markets in the region throughout every day of the week - mmmm! Why not visit Mont St Michel and see the breathtaking views that others have seens over time. Enroute, stop by the bay of Cancale and try the local delicacy - Oysters! Enjoy a game of golf? We have seven courses in the region, one only 15 minutes from us with stunning views over the coast. Spend a day taking in the port of St Malo and walk around the old walled city. Then cross over the River Rance and head along the cost to the pretty villages of Erqy and Val Andre. The beautiful lake at Jugon is only a short distance from here with a swimming pool on the side of the lake with a flume slide! Take a train to the beautiful city of Rennes - only 40 minutes away & see the stunning old city and visit the markets. Or just unwind & spend a lazy day on one of the unspolit clean sandy beaches only 15 minutes away. Our local beaches provide peace and tranquility all year round and all the local ones have good access. In the summer months there are plenty of beach activities for adults and children including canoeing, windsurfing and children's clubs.
How to get there
We are only 30 minutes from the ferry port of St Malo or 20 minutes from the seaside resort of Dinard.
Flights: Direct flights are availible from East Midlands ( Nottingham), Bristol and Birmingham ( June 08) with Ryanair to Dinard. Flights are now also availible from Dublin direct to Rennes with Aer Lingus Flybe operate from Manchester to Rennes Aurigny Airlines depart from Manchester to Dinard via Guernsey.
Ferries: Our nearest port is St Malo - Brittany Ferries or Confor Ferries travel into St Malo Cherbourg, Caen,Roscoff and Le Havre are within a reasonable driving distance and companies such as Speed Ferries are currently offering £20 each way for the Dover / Boulogne crossing. Calais is a 5 hour drive and again you can get good ferry deals or use the Eurotunnel where prices can be from around E65 each way & cheaper if you travel overnight!

Kitchen area fully equipped with an eye level electric oven, 4 ring hotplate, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, fridge and all utensils. Dining table & chairs for four. Living area open plan and comprises of living room and kitchen/diner. This has been tastefully renovated whilst retaining original features such as exposed oak beams and original fireplace. In addition to electric heaters, a Traditional wood burning stove is situated in the living room area. The living room area is beautifully furnished throughout with handmade pine furniture and soft furnishings which give a lovely country cozy feel. A double sofa bed in the living room area can be used to sleep perhaps a child or an adult. Satellite TV, dvd player, CD player, games and books are included.
First floor
Double bedroom again furnished with handmade pine furniture. We have a single foldaway bed which is ideal for an adult or older child. We also have either a travel cot or toddler bed that can also be put in the bedroom. Additional sleeping can also be on the double sofa bed in the living area. All bedlinen is provided. Bathroom : the modern bathroom has a shower (no bath), together with a toilet and handbasin & hairdryer. Also included is an heated towel rail and all towels (except beach towels) are supplied.
Further details outdoors: Shared with your host family is a secluded & enclosed garden, which has an above ground swimming pool, well managed lawn and fruit trees, with views over fields making this an ideal place to relax. For guests we have included a barbecue / sitting area with table, umbrella & chairs. For children we have swings, slide and sandpit. Next to this you also have the use of a large lawned area(approx 1.5 acres)planted with ornamental trees. Within this, there is a large open area with football goal, as well as a large trampoline fitted with a safety net, seesaw, climbing frame & wooden playhouse.

The owners live on the premises and will be delighted to provide information / assistance such as choosing good restaurants / places to visit etc and will always be happy to help with any questions you may have during your stay! We provide some goodies for your arrival - nothing better than a cup of tea or coffee or a cold drink on arrival plus a freshly baked baguette, local butter and home made jam - delicious!!! The garden and pool is shared with your host family but the garden is huge so there is plenty of space ! For our little guests we have plenty of toys availible .
Conditions
Arrival time after 3.30 pm Saturday and accommodation to be vacated by 10 am Saturday. These rates are for the complete accommodation, not per person. Out of Season Mini Breaks (i.e. less than a week) and longer periods by arrangement. Please telephone for details. A deposit of 50% of total holiday cost (non-returnable) is required in peak season June, July & August Balance payable on arrival. Payments prefered in Euros but we can also take £. We should receive booking forms and your deposit not later than 14 days from the date of making the provisional telephone or e mail booking. A damage deposit of Euros 150 must be paid in cash on arrival, which will be refunded upon departure.
