About the home

This beautiful villa has just recently come onto the rental market. It was built 2 yrs ago for the sole purpose of our own private use. (4 times in all) so now we have decided to open our beautiful home to you It is self catering with plenty do at the villa, Privacy and quietness guaranteed. Pool Safety cover for children, 8 Seater hot Tub for adults. Perfect for Families or adults.

This villa has been fitted out to the highest standard of any villa you will find in Fuerteventura, the kitchen is stocked with all the pots, pans, crockery, juicer and anything you could possibly think of for entertaining. Living room is spacious and comfortable with flat screen TV, Cable showing English programs, plenty of DVDs for all the family, games & toys. The villa is walled from all sides for privacy and security, Safety pool cover allows kids out to play without the worry of the pool. Pool is heated and included in the price. Al fresco dining is a must at the villa.

The villa is all built on 1 level with tall church like ceilings in the living room and Kitchen; we have another lounge area which brings you through double sliding doors out to the terrace. This room also has a wine cooling fridge, toys and games for kids and a general relaxed feeling to it. All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes with plenty of space. 2 of the 3 Bedrooms have ceiling fans; the 3rd has bunk beds so we have put a stand alone fan in that room. Master Bedroom has fitted with TV and DVD player, double sliding doors open onto the terrace and nearby pool. En Suite has been fitted with extra large walk in power shower.

The Exterior of this property is all centred on the beautiful Roman style heated swimming pool with mosaic tiling. To the right of the pool there is a large stone barbeque, Dining Table and chairs for 8 and extra large sun umbrella for shade, if wanted. To the left of the swimming pool there is another seating area, a largo pergola with 8 seater Jacuzzi nestled under the shade.

To the side of the house we have a grassed area where you can enjoy sunbathing on our comfortable sun loungers, no matter what are of the garden you are in you will always get sun shine at some time during the day.

The large terrace has been positioned to catch the sun from early afternoon to sunset. We also have a roof terrace with some great views of the sand dunes in the distance, gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep the little one's safe.

The Fuerteventura region

With three thousand hours of sunshine a year, Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast with only 100km separating the 'Punta de la Entallada' from Cape Juby in Morroco and is the second largest (after Tenerife) of all the islands.

The weather conditions of Fuerteventura are very similar to Florida and Mexico which are on the same latitude, which make this the ideal holiday location.

There is nowhere else in the Canaries with as many enormous sand dunes and long sandy beaches (more than one hundred and fifty). Even though most of the land consists of stone and rock, these are some of the most impressive beaches in the whole of Europe. Approx 98km long and 30km across at the widest point.
In the history of time Fuerteventura is generally regarded as the oldest of all the Canaries and its strange contours come from various volcanic episodes. The last eruption occurred around 7,000 years ago so you're pretty safe. Should you wish to see some volcanic activity take a trip to the neighboring island of Lanzarote, it's well worth it. You can also take a short boat trip over to the small island of Los Lobos (only 6sqkm) and really get away from it all.

Water sports are very popular in Fuerteventura. Every year hundreds of surfers, windsurfers and divers descend on Fuerteventura and during July the island is host to the P.W.A world windsurfing speed and slalom event at Sotavento in the south.

There are many new attractions inviting tourists to discover different aspects of the Island's landscape and culture such as the Betancuria Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography and Tefia Craft Village to name but a few.

The Corralejo / Vistas Del Mar area

Corralejo is situated on the northern tip of the island. Corralejo is a popular beach resort with splendid views across to Playa Blanca on Lanzarote.

Although the town boasts its own series of sandy coves, the spectacular sands of the Dunes Nature Reserve lie just 3km to the south. The streets of the resort are lined with shops and restaurants and at the older end of town is a small selection of attractive bars.

When your leaving the airport take your first right for Corralejo / La Olivia stay on this road for a few kms. You will see another sign for Corralejo / La Olivia, take the slip road to the right, this way you bypass Puerto Del Rosario. Continue on the Corralejo road up the coast, it will take approx 40 mins for you to get to Corralejo from the Airport.

Once you have reached Corralejo stay on the same road, you will go through a number of roundabouts.
Turn right at the roundabout sign posted LA OLIVA, as you approach the roundabout you will see RIU Perfume shop on your right you will see an adventure park for kids, come around this round about as if you were going back down the road you just came up and take a sharp right in past the clothes shop and follow the road around the corner, you will see villas on your right hand side, we are the sixth street of villas on the right. It’s the first villa on the LEFT hand side. NO 1

"My husband and I with our two teenage boys had a great week at Villa Paraiso. The villa was very spacious inside with lots of outdoor space also. The BBQ, pool and particularly the jacuzzi were a big hit. The villa was very clean, comfortable, well furnished and very well equipped, there was nothing missing! The information booklet was very helpful too. The kitchen equipment, DVDs, games, tv's and cable tv etc made it a home from home. Really enjoyed sitting outside both in the day and in the evening with plenty of options either in the sun or shade and even in the jacuzzi in the evening! We ate in most nights enjoying the BBQ as much as we could. We had a car for the week so it was easy to stock up at the supermarket in Corralejo when we arrived. We didn't venture too far from the villa as it seemed a shame to not too enjoy everything at the villa! We would definitely recommend the villa and consider returning again."
