The Canary Islands region

Located just 100 kilometres off the coast of Africa, Fuerteventura is the second biggest of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife, and has the longest beaches in the archipelago. The island is a paradise for sun, beach and water sports enthusiasts.

The island is widely believed to be the oldest of the Canary Islands. Its strange form was created out of a series of volcanic eruptions many thousands of years ago. The island is on the same latitude as Florida and Mexico and temperatures here rarely fall below 18°C. There are no fewer than 152 beaches along its coastline - 50 kilometres of fine, white sand.

Corralejo

Here in Corralejo you have the best of both worlds with the "Old Harbour" and the new extension of the town where the "Acua Water Park" and theme area is located. There are many other activities such as visits to the Islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. Also take a trip on a Catamaran or there is the possibility to go deep sea fishing in the unbelievably transparent waters. Scuba Diving is another popular activity in the crystal clear waters. Feel like getting to the heart of the unspoilt barren land - Take a trip in a buggy across the North Shores. If you fancy getting out and about why not visit the Zoo and even take a camel ride! There is also the American Star (that is breaking up!). Or you might even be in luck and catch one of the various Carnivals that the Islands are famous for.

We also have a Short Par 3,GOLF COURSE only a Ten Min Drive from the Apartment.

"spacious, modern apartment with all the amenities needed"

We have just returned from a short break in Fuerteventura, during which time we stayed in 3 different apartments. Casa Rosa was the most superior, providing the amenities, and levels of cleanliness we did not experience elsewhere. Heather provides all you need for a self catering break - even beach towels! We were very much impressed by the space in the apartment, especially the large private balcony off the bedroom which got the sun for the majority of the day. The apartment is located just off Avenida Grandes Playa and it's a lovely walk along the seafront to get into town in the evening. Also the Campinario Centre is close by - great to visit on a Sunday morning for the craft market and male Spanish group singing!
Highly recommended!

"Amazing value for money"

Wow, what a wonderful holiday we had. Brilliant support and service from Heather, good instructions to find it and easy access to the property. We can find no fault whatsoever with the house, comfortable with all amenities and equipment, comfy bed and a delightful patio downstairs and roof terrace above. Not overlooked, sun on the roof most of the day and only a couple of minutes walk to the beach pathway that takes you to the harbour in 10 minutes one way and 25 minutes to the most amazing flag beach. 5 minutes walk to Las Campanas shopping centre with a great supermarket.
Please book this property, you will not be disappointed if you want peace and quiet but a few minutes from lovely retaurants.

"A very relaxing holiday with very private balcony."

Just spent a very relaxing week at Casa Rosa. First impressions were that the apartment was very clean and in good condition and well worth the rental money. We met Heather on the saturday and had a great chat. We did point out that one of the two sun beds was foud to be broken and virtually unusable when we arrived the afternoon before and were informed that the previous guests had broken the bed but as it was out of season it was difficult to buy replacements - in the week we were there we saw them for sale in three different shops or supermarkets for 40 euros. We did manage to use the broken bed but it was a struggle and not the standard that we expected. Saying that, this was the only downside of the apartment. It was a bit tirred decor wise but was well provided, good fridge freezer, hob and oven and the arrival water, milk, tea and coffee was appreciated. The sateleite tv is ok but limited, mainly news and star trek - no main stream chanels. Would we go back......it was very clean and very good value for money, the bed is very firm but ok, the shower ok but normal canarian water flow, the apartment is ideally situated for everything and provides a great living space and a very 'private balcony' with sun all day....we would go back despite the minor points and have a great relaxing holiday.

"Excellent! Beautiful villa with everything you need for a comfortable stay!"

We really enjoyed staying here. The villa is fantastic - loads of space inside, spread over two floors. The verandah upstairs is huge with sunbeds and parasol, plus a table and chairs. The verandah gets the sun all day and looks out over an empty field with palm trees, so it feels really private. The sea is just off to the left, so you can always hear the waves, which is wonderfully relaxing. Heather made sure we were happy and well looked after, but didn't intrude at all. She has thought of everything, so the villa is extremely well equipped. It's very close to town, so you can easily walk to restaurants and bars. However, it's far enough away to be very quiet and private. It's also very close to the Campaniero Centre, which is a quiet little shopping centre with lovely shops, a supermarket and some nice little cafes. I'd definitely recommend it and we'll probably go back some time when we want to chill out. Thanks!
