About the home

The residence is a single story air conditioned town house style bungalow, with its own off-street entrance, and it's own parking site, in a private and very peaceful 16 unit complex. Furnished to the highest standard to ensure comfortable and hustle free holiday.

Discreet patio complete with table and chairs as well as loungers is perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing

The property has got a direct access to the shared pool surrounded by plants.

It comfortably accommodates 4 people having 2 bedrooms / 4 beds. For couples two single beds can be easily arranged as a double bed in the main bedroom.

•There is a safe in the master bedroom,
•The unit is fitted with air conditioning units in both bedrooms and in the living area.
•It has a modern kitchen including hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, iron and utensils and equipment necessary for four people. also Free Wi-Fi and washing machine
There is also a hair dryer & curling tongs

•The bathroom is tiled with bath, shower, WC and wash hand basin. A hair-dryer is supplied.
•There is a spacious living/ dining area with 3 seater and 1 seater suite, coffee table, sideboard unit, patio doors, counter with 4 stools.

There is also a TV/DVD, radio/ CD player, selection of books and DVDs.

There is ease of street-side parking outside the unit.

The living room has a sliding door leading onto a private patio area, which is fully equipped with table, 4 chairs and 4 sun-loungers, beautiful chair covers and a sun umbrella.

This private patio overlooks the private swimming pool, which is only accessible to residents of the complex. The Pool will be heated during the less warm season.

Weekly maid service and towels/linen change is provided and the communal areas are maintained to a high standard.

Kelly, a smiling and helpful English lady provides the housekeeping service involving a weekly cleaning, change of towels and linen. Tony maintains the common areas and pool.

On request, Kelly is available to sort out minor maintenance issues that may arise.

A welcome pack consisting of first night essentials such as sugar, milk, tea etc can be provided on request by Kelly for 25euros. If you ask Patsy she will organise it with Kelly. You pay Kelly after arrival.

No smoking requested indoors.

The pool is not suitable for small children unsupervised as the shallow end is 1.5m deep.

Please bring your own beach towels.

Conditions

25% booking deposit will be required, with balance 6 weeks in advance of booking. If less than 6 weeks to booking date contact Patricia Quin.

Discounts will be available for stays in excess of 2 weeks, particularly outside high season. Please bring your own beach towels.

The Fuerteventura region

There is normally a nice cooling breeze in Fuerteventura, which makes it a fabulous venue for wind surfers, scuba diving, fishing and other water activities.

Near Corralejo there is a unique dunes beach, formed by wind borne sands from the Sahara, which is a haven for wind surfers and sun worshippers. Even the naturist love this beach!

For the young there is a great Water Park and swings and trampolines for the young and young at heart in Corralejo.

Golfers will also enjoy playing Fuerteventura Golf Course, an excellent 18 hole par 70 course of 6,069m, in Caleta de Fuste, just 30 minutes drive down the coast. This course has hosted the Spanish Open. Golf on this course is very comfortable, not busy, easy to get times and not expensive by international standards.

There is a local ex-pats golf society which plays this course on a weekly basis and they welcome visitors very openly. A second course close to Fuerteventura Golf Course was opened in 2007.

The Corralejo / Palm Springs Corralejo area

The complex is located on Fuerteventura Avenue, just 15/20 minutes leisurely stroll from the town centre of Corralejo, harbour and beaches. The town, which is quaint, has all the character of an old town, including a Music Square and Harbour, has all the services one would require including a multiplicity of excellent restaurants, where two can dine painlessly for less than 50 euros, including wine.

A second bottle of wine is very affordable! Our favourite restaurants include La Bernabie, La Taberna La Sombrero and Poco Loco.

The town itself has excellent atmosphere, is very relaxed and safe which really adds to the experience of chilling out in a beautiful climate. The not so nice people that may drink lager to excess and may disturb your space are a rarity in Corralejo!

The beaches around Corralejo are the best anywhere in Europe. Within 5 minutes walk you can relax on Waikiki beach. The town beach is also excellent, beside the harbour and near a great variety of cafes and restaurants.

Just 15 mins walk south of Palm Springs is one of the most beautiful natural beaches and dunes areas you will ever see, 'Las Dunas' - 8km of protected national park, a favourite for surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing. Day trips to El Cotillo and Morro Jable are worthwhile.

Car Ferry service from Lanzarote to Corralejo.

Car Hire very cheap and Fuerteventura Airport well serviced by a number of car rental companies. Our choice for good cars and good value AutoReisen.

Car hire on the Island, including all taxes, is exceptionally good value for a holiday destination, with a mid-sized car costing in the order of 130 to 140 Euro per week. Petrol is at bargain basement cost of around 80 cents per litre.

The Airport is about 40 minutes drive from Corralejo. A taxi home at night from Corralejo costs around 3 euro.


A taxi can be organised to collect you at the Airport, with a fare cost of 30euros. Again if you ask Patsy she will arrange for it to be ordered.

We have stayed at various apartments within the Palm Spring Complex, and this is by far the best one we have stayed in. The owner was easy to reach and replied promptly to any queries we may have had. The apartment itself is very spacious for the 4 of us, and is nicely situated within distance of all the amenities. It has become a home from home to myself and my family, and we are going for 3 weeks this year.
The complex is very secure for children and is a quiet small place great for young and old alike, it will be our fifth time their, and although we have been going to Corralajo for 13 years this is the best place we have stayed in by far.
