About the home

The apartment is set in a quiet part of the property. It has a private front terrace with table and chairs. The lounge is furnished with a sofa (that would sleep either 1 adult or 2 children), chest of drawers, TV, and a fan. There is a kitchen bar unit for 2, separate bathroom and a twin bedroom.

The complex is located in Correlejo close to all local amenities. The new El Campanario Shopping Centre is a 5 minute walk - which includes shops, movie rental, restaurants and bars, the town centre and beach are a 15 minute walk, the Baku Family Park (including water park) is a 10 minutes walk away and a local supermarket is a 2 minute walk.

The complex enjoys a large swimming pool, a children's pool, gym, and tennis courts.

A signed booking form and a non-refundable €75/£60 deposit is required to confirm your booking.

A €75/£60 breakage deposit is to be paid with the holiday balance (6 weeks prior to departure).

This breakage will be refunded within 2 weeks for your departure subject to a satisfactory inspection.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the closest Canary Island to the African coast and is regarded as the oldest of the Canaries. It's vast contours come from various volcanic eruptions (over 7000 years ago). If you would like to take a trip to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote, it's just a quick trip on the ferry. There you will be able to visit the Timanfaya National Park which has its own active volcano!

Water sports are quite popular in Fuerteventura. Each year, hundreds of windsurfers, surfers, and divers come to enjoy the Island. The weather conditions are so good (3000 hours of sunshine per year) that in July the island hosts the Professional Windsurfers Association work windsurfing and speed slalom event.

The island benefits from miles and miles of broad white sandy beaches and golden sand dunes.

Oasis Park situated in the south of Fuerteventura is well worth a visit. It a natural paradise - one to the most important projects created to protect and preserve the unique flora and fauna of the Canary Island. There are animals from all over the world as well as the typical Fuerteventuran animals. The Oasis Park is a great day out which includes a lot of interesting and entertaining shows as well as a camel safari.

The Corralejo / Residencial Las Dunas area

Correlejo is by far the prettiest of the resorts in Fuerteventura, especially around the harbour and the beaches that lead to the sand dunes that protect the Natural Park.

The apartment is located just out of the town centre:

- 10 minute walk to Baku Family Park which includes 3 different theme parks: The Water Park, The Animal Experience, and The Parque Europa. There is also a large market here twice a week.

- At the harbour which is a 20 minute walk away, you can enjoy bars, restaurants, cafes and even a ferry trip to Lanzorote or the island of Los Lobos.

- There are several watersports to choice from in Corralejo including windsurfing, sailing, surfing, and snorkelling.

RYANAIR IS FLYING TO FUERTEVENTURA - From April 3, 2010, Ryanair will be flying to Fuerteventura from 10 locations including: Dublin, Liverpool, Bournenmouth, and Glasglow.

From Ireland - Aerlingus travels from Dublin.

Just to let you know how fantastic this property is as a base in Corralejo!!! Clean,compact and safe complex apartment with everything you need for a quick getaway at a great price. Ideally located within walking distance of shops and most important of all, the beach! I can definitely recommend this for surfers-literally a 5min walk to Rocky Rights+Lefts (one of the most consistent+versatile spots on the island). Actually all water sports enthusiasts will benefit from the proximity to Flag Beach.
All in all myself and my family had an amazing trip and great stay!!!
