The Oassis Royal is considered to have one of the best locations in the town, with the Baku water park directly next to the complex , this also incorporates the animal experience, ten pin bowling, a kiddies theme park and the open air market. A 5 minute stroll in the other direction down the main high street with its numerous shops and restaurants will bring you to the old harbour of the town with yet more choices to eat and shop.

This complex has very strong links with the Oassis Dunas complex next door that offer a wide range of facilities including supermarket, internet, bike hire, excursions, and evening family entanment. There are a good choice of supermarkets and restaurants within a 5 min walk of the complex. The national park and sand dunes are a 15 min stroll away and well worth a vist.
The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, it is however the least developed of the islands. It has 155 beaches with the majority being soft white sand.
The island is renowned for its dry sunny climate with only 10cm of rain a year, you are guaranteed the weather all year round.
The Corralejo area
Corralejo is the main tourist town on the island with lots to see and do. Famous for the national park with mile after mile of white sand dunes, the main beach is 5 miles long.
The old town which is based around the harbour that is still a small working fishing port, with endless shops and restaurants to stroll around. You can take a ferry from the harbour and visit Lanzarote or Lobos.
There is so much to do in the town you can take a catamaran trip or go scuba diving, deep sea fishing, surfing in fact nearly any watersport you wish, or you can take a buggy or quad bike trips or maybe a camel ride.

From Rossairo airport.
Taxis are available from the airport, with a travel time of 25 mins, and a cost of around 35.00 euros.
Car rental is also available from the airport at very competative rates, i find C.I.C cars the best value.
Local bus service to Corralejo runs every hour.

We have just spent a wonderful week at this apartment and can't rate it highly enough. Splendid location with picture postcard gardens surrounding a small but most definitely usable pool (the children aged 10, 2x11 and 13 yr. old spent half their waking hours in it). Close to supermarkets, bars restaurants and souvenir shops all reasonably priced. The Baku waterpark is in close proximity. A 20 minute pleasant stroll down the main street takes you to the old town area with all its restaurants and bars and 10 minutes to the beach.
The apartment itself was clean and functional we had 2 adults and 4 children sleeping so probably at capacity so would be spacious with a family of 4. Nicely done out with all required amenities Kitchen with micro wave and washing machine TV with some English channels, iron, ironing board and hairdryer. There was also a selection of books which we added to and also a DVD player. John who looks after the apartment is a nice guy and very helpful.
All in all a great week some of the credit for which lies with the accommodation, will be our first enquiry for our next visit
