The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the most peaceful and unspoilt of the Canary Islands, with miles of golden blue flag beaches, natural sand dunes and clear turquoise seas. Corralejo / El Sultan area
Corralejo is one of the main resorts on the Island, famous for the National Park area of golden beaches and sand dunes. The town itself is made up of the main street, where you will find numerous shops, restaurants and bars, many offering nightly entertainment and the old town and harbour, which also boasts a number of cafes and restaurants many with fabulous views out to sea. Trips can be arranged from the harbour as well as ferry crossings to Lanzarote or Lobos Island, a nearby nature reserve.
Corralejo is also home to the Baku Water Park and entertainment complex, with lots to do for all the family and a local market is held here every Monday and Friday morning, with many bargains to be had. A new Golf Course has recently opened in Corralejo just a short distance from the property.
How to get there

When we arrived at the villa we were surprised at how lovely and well equipped it actually is. Every room has touches that make you feel like you're at home and it's so well kitted out, even down to the fishing nets for rock pooling and the diffuser for the hairdryer! The pool and complex areas are beautifully kept, the caretaker team appeared to work from 7am until very late and it really makes a difference. This was my third stay in Corralejo and by far the most enjoyable, the location is a walk away from the town beach and main shops and very close to a lovely shopping centre with live music in the square each evening, try the strawberry cheesecake ice cream it's amazing! Many thanks, as you advised the house was perfect for us, our 2 kids and the in-laws. Mum & Dad had the downstairs bedroom and bathroom and we shared the upstairs with our kids, so we all had our own space when we needed it. Met some lovely people on the complex too and the kids really enjoyed Baku Water Park. As you know my brother has now booked to stay in August. Thanks again - Lisa, David and family.
Really enjoyed our holiday in June, lovely house and complex, had everything we needed and superb location.
