Home description
Villa Nana was completed in 2006. It is a typical Canarian rustic style Villa and was built by a local builder. The present owners extended the front Patio area and made it private with a decorative wall. a pergola was incooperated into the rear patio area. The sunbathing area around the Pool was extended and a wall was built for privacy. Villa Nana was extensively refurbished in 2008 for holiday letting. The four bedrooms are all of a large size, the lounge and dining rooms are spacious The villa is cool, even in the hottest weather partly due to the vaulted ceilings and the many opening windows most of which have fly screens. There are also electric fans supplied. The lounge and dining room are separate. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. The swimming pool is electric and solar heating. It is about 20 feet long by 12 feet wide. The depth varies between 3 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 6 inches. There is a pool shower. The garden is about 1800 m square and has tropical plants, including cacti and fruit trees.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is on the whole, a quiet island, which is some 70 miles off the coast of Africa. It is the second largest Canaria island and is in all about 150 km long. There are numerous unspoilt and unpopulated beaches. The island has a reputation for windsurfing, kite surfing and body boarding. Many of the beaches however are quiet, some have lagoons and calm seas, suitable for bathing and four children.There are many towns and pretty villages to visit.
The capital of Fuerteventura is Puerto Del Rosario, which has many shops and restaurants including a new modern, comprehensive shopping centre. The weather is superb throughout the year. In summer, there is nearly always a breeze, limiting the temperature. In winter the breeze is less often present at the temperature remains at about 70 to 75° Fahrenheit.
Corralejo / Villaverde area
Villaverde is a delightful village, which is for the most part quiet except for Fiesta times. Villa Nana is some 300 yards from the main street and is within easy walking distance of the four excellent restaurants, the three local bars and the two supermarkets.
It is situated, roughly halfway between the seaside towns of Corralejo and El Cotillo. Corralejo has excellent beaches, many shops and restaurants. There are also many bars, and the nightlife is abundant. There is a water park and a market in Corralejo.
El Cotillo is smaller and quieter than Corralejo, but has many beautiful beaches, some of which are excellent surfing beaches and others are much more suited to families. There are two harbours in Cotillo, both of which have several good restaurants overlooking them. The beach bar is beautifully situated and serves excellent food.
How to get there
• Taxis are always plentiful from the airport to Villaverde. There are several hire car firms at the airport, including Cicar who have cars on site. Some companies transport you to their depot. • Details of the way to Villaverde from the airport are in the information letter, which we will send on confirmation of your booking.

Further details indoors: Villa Nana has been repainted for the new season. Most of the furniture has been replaced for example the dining suite, the loung furniture, most of the beds and the washing machine. The lounge and the separate dining room have vaulted ceilings helping to keep the villa cool. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped for up to eight people. Abundant hot water is supplied from a large new boiler.
Further details outdoors: The pool is both electrically and solar heated. It is tiled and the steps are easy to walk down. The pool is covered therefore please make sure young children are supervised at all times. The front patio is private, the sun is on the patio all day.This is a large patio. The area round the pool is similarly large. The roof patio has wonderful views of the surrounding area including Lanzarote. Please ensure children are supervised in this area. The garden is well stocked. We are planning a herb garden behind the swimming pool wall.

Changeover days normally Wednesdays. If this is inconvenient please discuss your dates with us. Bookings are welcome for up to two months. A special reduction will be allowed from weeks five to eight , If they are not at peak times.
Conditions
A non refundable deposit of £150 per week is required to secure the booking. This must be paid within seven days of the booking being made. The full amount must be paid eight weeks or longer before the date of occupancy. Bookings made less than eight weeks prior to occupancy are required to be paid in full at the time of the booking.
A security deposit of £150 will also be required at the time of four payment. This will be returned within a week after departure, if the Villa managers confirm that there have been no breakages or damage.
