Home description
Casa Loro is a gorgeous Villa in the Las Casitas area of Corralejo. It is very safe for children as the rear patio and house are separated from the pool. There are two large-size bedrooms and one smaller one thus sleeping up to six people. The lounge and dining areas are pleasant and airy in part due to the vaulted ceiling. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped. At the rear of the property there is a large covered pergola, a patio and a garden area which is secluded. In the front of the property there is a wall affording privacy and shelter for the heated swimming pool. There is also a patio and garden area together with a parking space for one vehicle (Not a necessity). The large roof patio has wonderful views over Corralejo,its harbour and the Island of Lanzarote. All the accommodation is on the ground floor thus making Casa Loro suitable for people with mobility problems. For 2009 the TV system has been upgraded to allow ITV, Channels 4&5 and the none pay Sky Channels to be viewed.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is on the whole a quiet island, which is some 70 miles off the coast of Africa. It is the second largest Canarian Island and is in all about 150 km long there are numerous unspoilt and unpopulated beaches. The island has a reputation for various types of surfing. Other beaches are quiet and offer safe bathing. The climate is superb, all the year round. In the heat of summer there is often a breeze. But in the winter, the breeze is less often present. Thus, the temperature is similar all throughout the year. The capital of Fuerteventura(Puerto Rosario), is some 20 miles from Corralejo. Here there are many shops including a new shopping centre. El Cotillo is 20 miles from Corralejo. It is a quieter seaside village and has many beautiful beaches some with lagoons. There are also excellent surfing beaches here.
Corralejo area
Corralejo can be a lively seaside town with abundant nightlife. Casa Loro is in the Las Casitas area of Corralejo, which is central but quiet. The beach is 150 yards away. There is a new shopping centre, 200 yards away where you will find a large supermarket, together with a restaurant and various shops. On the way to the Main Street.there is an excellent Indian restaurant, in the opposite direction there is a superb Japanese restaurant in the Bahia Real hotel. Some 2 km away from Casa Loro are the magnificent Flag and Dunes beaches. These stretch for some 7 km. and provide excellent facilities for swimming, surfing, kiting and sunbathing. There are also town beaches in Corralejo, one of which is 150 m away from the Villa. There are many shops and a great variety of restaurants. Many of these restaurants are on the beach or overlook the sea. There is also a new water park and entertainment area adjacent to which twice a week is a market.
How to get there
Taxis are always plentiful at Fuerteventura airport. There are also many car hire firms at the airport including Cicar who have cars at the airport. An information pack, together with directions to Casa Loro wiil be sent to you soon after your booking is confirmed.

Further details indoors: The lounge & dining area has a vaulted ceiling and two double opening doors onto the rear patio which helps to keep Casa Loro cool even in the hottest weather . The main bedroom also has double doors opening onto the patio. In the lounge there are two leather settees and a dining table with six chairs. The house has fitted wardrobes in two bedrroms and there are two bookcases with cupboards in the lounge. The kitchen runs the whole depth of the house and is comprehensively equipped for six people. One bathroom is large having twin hand basins, a bath with a shower, a bidet and a toilet. The smaller bathroom has a bath with shower, a handbasin and a toilet. Both bathrooms are attractively tiled. The smaller bedroom has a single bed and a pull out bed. There is a small utility room adjacent to the kitchen complete wih a washing machine and cleaning equipment..
Further details outdoors: The heated pool is about 20 feet by 12 feet. The depth is constant at about 4 feet. It is tiled and has gentle steps making it suitable for children who must be supervised at all times when in or around the pool. The pool is able to be closed off from the house and the rear patio making the area more safe for small children. The pergola at the back of the villa is spacious giving shade for those who are wilting. The large roof patio is private. The views are magnificent.
Further details
Our preferred changeover date is Wednesday but often guests come on other days depending obviously on the choice of flights. Guests must arrive after 4pm and depart before 11am on the day of departure. Please ask if you wish to extend your stay on either day.
Conditions
A none refundable deposit of £150 per week is payable within seven days and is required to secure the booking. The full amount must be paid at least eight weeks prior to the date of occupancy. Bookings that are made less than eight weeks prior to occupancy must be paid for in full at the time of the booking. A security deposit of £150 is required at the time of full payment. This will be refunded within a week of your departure if the Villa managers confirm there have been no breakages or damages
