Good level access into, throughout apartment & onto large covered terrace - excellent for youngest to oldest. There are views over the dunes and the sea to Lanzarote, and a large covered terrace with alfresco dining area, a Weber gas BBQ, family sized Jacuzzi, decking area, & private parking.

Apartment has lovely new fully fitted kitchen with marble worktops & breakfast bar, and every modern convenience you could want on holiday. The open-plan lounge & dining area are well furnished, with Plasma TV, Sky Freeview, Satellite TV, Kenwood Music System etc for your entertainment. The Air Conditioning & Heating adds to the comfort factor, along with ceiling fans fitted to each bedroom. A Safe is also included.

This apartment is only 10 minutes walk from the nearest shops, restaurants & bars, 15 minutes walk from Baku aquapark, bowling etc, and the nearest beach, and 4 minutes drive to Corralejo centre, or the dunes & beaches.

There is an area of decking to the side, and sun loungers for your enjoyment.

The private parking space has a remote for the barrier, and is very close to the apartment. Access from the parking area, into the apartment, and onto the terrace is all on one level. There are adult & children's communal pools, & a children's play area within the pedestrianised complex.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura has a good & temperate climate, probably one of the best in the Canary Islands, and the Island itself has a vast variety of wonderful golden beaches, bays & coves, and areas featuring sea water lagoons which are warmed by the sun. The sands and dunes are beautiful gold to white coloured soft sands, which adults & children alike enjoy. Snorkelling, diving, surfing, fishing, & various boat trips are all available.

Baku aquapark in Corralejo a a fun place to visit any time, & Oasis Park - a safari park in the south, is a great day out for all the family. Puerto del Rosario a a good town for shopping. A hire car is a great way to explore & find the uninhabited beaches. People in Fuerteventura are friendly, and in most of the coastal resorts speak some English too. Buses & Taxis are cheap, and eating out is good value for money too.

The Corralejo area

At the heart of Corralejo is the old Harbour, and waterside restaurants & bars, with great food & sea views. The town has something for everyone, with Music Square where you can sit & eat inside or outside a restaurant, whilst being entertained by Juggling, Fire Eating, etc and live music.

There are many bars with Live Music, and a great variety of restaurants to chose from, with some on the beach itself. It is a great place for a family, with children welcome everywhere, and most restaurants with good access, also plenty of alfresco eating.

You can take boat trips directly from Corralejo itself, & go to Los Lobos Island, or Lanzarote for the day. There are also shops of every kind to browse, along with Supermarkets etc, there is even a large Spar Supermarket opposite the Bus Station. Corralejo has some great family beaches too, and rockpooling heaven for the kids.

“Lovely holiday, perfect for families” This apartment was ideal for travelling with young children- the enclosed outdoor area with garden and patio, and of course, the hot tub meant we could relax there with the children. Would definitely recommend a car but was cheaper to get than all other holidays we've been to in Canaries ( owner advised us), went into the old town of Corralejo a lot which was picturesque and atmospheric, the children loved having meals in the evening there, enjoyed live music etc. Went in February so was concerned it would be cloudy, and it was perfect blue sky every day! Recommend the Oasis Park as the loveliest 'zoo' we have ever been to! Local beaches were lovely, also recommend beaches nearby the Riu hotels as excellent. A great holiday and great value
