About the home

This is a modern two bed top/first floor apartment in Corralejo town. Set in an Arabic styled complex with landscaped gardens and 4 pools (2 adult and 2 children's), the apartment has been modernly furnished with 1 king size bedroom and 1 twin bedroom.

It has a spacious private roof terrace with sun loungers etc and views to the sea and Lanzarote. The apartment has all the mod cons including LCD TV, DVD player, stereo and satellite TV.

The beach is 10 min walk away and bars, restaurants, supermarkets and ATM machines are directly across the road. Corralejo town is a leisurely 20mins stroll away and the new Baku water park is 5 mins walk.

The Fuerteventura region

Corralejo: northern part of Fuerteventura island.

It has beautiful flagged beaches and sand dunes can be seen from the apartment roof. The sun shines all year with a wonderful cooling breeze even in the summer, making it the perfect holiday destination.

The Corralejo / El Sultan area

Corralejo is a town with a number of beautiful flagged beaches which have no end of watersports, fishing etc. The old town itself is a great harbour with wonderful restaurants and bars. Suitable for young and old.

Baku waterpark has a market 2 days a week, as well as the waterpark they are building an animal experience and there is kids playpark and crazy golf. There are various festivals throughout the year in Corralejo and a great parade of 3 kings through the town at new year.

Bars and restaurants are 2 mins walk from apartment and a leisurely stroll into old town will bring you to all additional night life.

Suitable for families and couples alike, this town is very family orientated and has a great friendly atmosphere.

We visited in late April and had a really good holiday. There was some walking (15 - 20 mins) to get to the main centre/best restuarants but this was not really an effort and a taxi home is only €3.
There is also a supermarket, bakery, bars and a decent restaurant 2 mins down the road.
It was very quiet when we were there, which suited us, and all in all we had no complaints whatsever and the owners make all the arrangements effortless.

My husband and I took 2 of our grand children to this apartment for a week and had a wonderful time. The apartment is beautiful with splendid views. We could sit on the roof terrace with a cup of coffee and watch the children play in the pools. Super Market is in walking distance and the film library a complete bonus. It was wonderful. I have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

I got back from fuerteventura on saturday and we stayed at el sultan apartments. It is a really secure complex you have to have a key to get into the complex through the two main gates so unless your staying here or already live on the complex there is no way anyone else can get in. We stayed in apartment 23 it is owned by a lady called Celine really really great apartment it had a roof terrace which we did spend most of the week on and the views from it are great the only problem was the tv if you do wont to stay in a few nights then I wouldn't expect much from the tv we could only get news channels good job we took dvd's but there are dvd's in the cabinet along with books aswell which was great.. If you are staying in the same apartment as we did there is lots of information leaflets and maps to help you work your way around. There are also Tony and Nikola who look after the apartment who are at your call whenever you need them, a fuse blew and Tony was round within 10 minutes to sort it out which is a great security blanket to have when you don't know anyone on the island. The beach was about a 15-20 minute walk i'd say with a few beach bars if you wont something to eat. The flag beach which you will pass on your way to the apartment is about a 20-30 minute walk depending on how fast you walk, you can see the beaches from the roof terrace. There are a few bars also outside the complex which are english and sell take out food to if you get a late flight. There is a supermarket next to these but it is quite expensive however if you stand on your terrace you will see a clock tower if you look towards Lanzorote there is a Hyperdino here which is reasonable and quite big. Baku waterpark was closed when we went but we did walk past it, it is about a 15 minute walk and you can see it too from the terrace. It opens in April. Corralejo town is about 20 minutes walk from the apartment and has just about everything you will need in 1 road. We never walked to the actual harbour so i'm not sure how long this would take. Overall though the complex was great very quiet and peaceful.
