About the home

Fuerteventura surf house is a place where you can sleep sharing some services (kitchen, living room, terrace) with other guests, who can be surfers or just tourists exploring the island and willing to relax. It’s a nice way to get to know more people, share experiences, but still have your privacy by reserving your own room.

It’s located between the harbour and the big Hyperdino supermarket. The closest beach is just 3 minutes walking distance and the disco/bar area is 5 minutes walking. The nearest surfing spot is the Muelle only 5 minutes walking but take care of the rocks!

It can fit up to 7 people.

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura is the second biggest island in the Canary Islands, and the one with the best sand beaches and very wild landscapes.

Lying close to the Moroccan shore, Fuerteventura is the most sparsely populated of the Canary Islands.

The Corralejo area

Corralejo is located in the north-east of Fuerteventura and it’s the town where most of the surfers are: it has also some of the best night life of the island and it’s a good location for kitesurfers and windsurfers too.

The best way to reach Fuerteventura is by airplane: lots of low cost airlines, including Ryanair, fly to Fuerteventura from all over Europe.

Fuerteventura airport is about 45km far: you can reach Fuerteventura Surf House by bus, taxi or ask us to pick you up by sending an email.

Bus takes about 1 hour and half (take the firts bus to Puerto del Rosario and then change the bus for the Corralejo' s one) and it costs about 6,00€

Taxi costs about 45,00€ one way

Renting a car at the airport could be another solution to arrive to Corralejo.

You can also reach Fuerteventura by ferry from Lanzarote and Gran Canaria

“Cozy, clean apartment conveniently located, safe, well-run and shared with friendly surfers” Close walking distance from the port, this apartment, tucked away on a side street, offers both surfers and sightseers a clean, pleasant place to stay. No car is necessary for those who wish to explore the stunning beaches of Corralejo and to enjoy city amenities including restaurants and grocery stores. Lorenzo gave us a warm welcome and created a sense of family right away among all the guests, most of whom were young surfers. He arranged for our early morning car ride to the airport (we stayed one day only) and invited us to join him and other guests for dinner at Caffe della Terra down the street, where we acquainted with each other and some of the many Italians who have recently escaped and settled in Corralejo to live. In the cozy sitting room, guests connected to the free WiFi and could also watch DVDs. The fully equipped kitchen provided a sunny, functional space for food storage, laundry, and meal preparation, with a very small dining space. We stayed in a bunk bedroom decorated by inspiring surf posters on the walls. Though not surfers ourselves, we enjoyed this window into the Fuerteventura surf culture. This is not a luxurious place, and some of the spaces are a bit tight, but we were quite pleased with our stay especially given its value, convenience, and also that we spent most of our time outdoors in the glorious sun and sand. My only complaint was that the sheets may not have been properly dried so that we slept with a slight moldy scent. I am certain that Lorenzo would have corrected this oversight had we mentioned it to him, but it was not a big deal for us. Guests who stayed longer would also have the option of washing their linens in the provided machine and air-drying on the clotheslines located on the rooftop. I am impressed by Lorenzo's enterprise, which captures the simple, laid-back spirit of Fuerteventura. Wishing this young man much entrepreneurial success as he offers many more visitors the opportunity to experience this spirit, while pursuing it joyfully himself. About your only complain about the sheets not fully dried, I'll talk with the cleaning girl so that it won't happen again..anyway, if you would have told me, I would have changed your sheets straight away

“Nice surf hostel in the center of corralejo” If your looking for a cheap and good place to stay and you want to surf in the north shore i can really recommend lorenzo´s bed and surf! Its a cool place to meet other surfers. The hostel is very nice and clean, and the location is perfect, just 3 minutes walking from the center and 1 minute from a supermarket.

“great place, clean, quiet, in good location and the owner is very helpful” The house is very nice, it is kept always clean and it is quiet at night. The kitchen is modern and good equipped, and there is a big terrace with a nice view on top. THe owner, Lorenzo, was very helpful with tips about good restaurants, things too see and to suggest us the best surf spot of the day The town center is just few minutes away walking

“Like at home!” The surfhouse is really 5 min walking from the center of Corralejo as well as from the beach. Rooms are all very coloured and nice decorated (you can immediately understand that the owner is a surfer!). I found the entire surfhouse very clean (most important: the toilet and the kitchen too!). The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need for cooking...you only need to bring your own food (a quite big supermarket is just behind the corner). This is not written on the website, but there is not just a free wi-fi, but also a laptop is there for the guests (hence you don't need to bring yours) and also speakers for iPhone, if you want to listen your own music! Normal TV and a DVD player with few DVDs are also present if you want to relax. The owner (Lorenzo) is really friendly and available to give you any sort of info. If I will be back in Fuerteventura, I will for sure go there again: it is quite cheap and all the general, important things are as they should be (also a little bit better!), but what positively surprised me was the attention for the details, which makes you feel like at home, and this is not easy to find in other places!

“Fantastic place” The house is spacious and comfortable, in the center of Corralejo, near the sea and pub/discos. The owner is nice and kind with the guest!
