About the home

There is a two bedroom apartment on the ground and first floor with one double bed, one twin bedroom, cloakroom with WC & basin, shower with WC & basin and a washing machine.
There is a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor with twin bedroom, disabled friendly shower room, WC, Washing machine and lounge dining area with large doors onto the pool / patio area. The apartments have insulated connecting doors which can be opened to form a three bedroom apartment ,with 1 bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor.The friendly owner lives locally and is always ready to help.

The sea is just the other side of the garden wall and you can watch people fishing from a small staging. There is a coastal path where you can walk to the bay, harbour and the town centre in one direction and six miles of sand dunes in the other. Remember to pick up your free copy of the Grape Vine,It gives details of all local
activitys. You will find them in most bars and Restaurants.

The Fuerteventura region

Located just 100 kilometres off the coast of Africa, it is the second biggest of the Canary Islands, after Tenerife, and has the longest beaches in the archipelago. The island is a paradise for sun, beach and water sports enthusiasts.

The island is widely believed to be the oldest of the Canary Islands. Its strange form was created out of a series of volcanic eruptions many thousands of years ago. The island is on the same latitude as Florida and Mexico and temperatures here rarely fall below 18°C. There are no fewer than 152 beaches along its coastline - 50 kilometres of fine, white sand.

The Corralejo area

Here in Corralejo you have the best of both worlds with the "Old Harbour" and the new extension of the town where the "Baku Water Park" and theme area is located. There are many other activities such as visits to the Islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. Also take a trip on a Catamaran or there is the possibility to go deep sea fishing in the unbelievably transparent waters. Scuba Diving is another popular activity in the crystal clear waters. Feel like getting to the heart of the unspoilt barren land - Take a trip in a buggy across the North Shores. If you fancy getting out and about why not visit the Zoo and even take a camel ride! There is also the American Star (that is breaking up!). Or you might even be in luck and catch one of the various Carnivals that the Islands are famous for.

When you arrive at the airport for your well deserved break there are several ways to reach your apartment.

If you choose to drive yourself please use the following directions... For Both Apartments follow the first part:

1. Leave the airport and turn right (north) onto the main road—signposted Rosario and Corralejo.

Take the second exit—signposted “La Oliva” and “Corralejo”. Keep on this road for about 30 kms. This will take you round the outskirts of Rosario, go straight across at the roundabout by a petrol station. Keep on the main coast road straight across all roundabouts, keeping the sea on your right. You will then pass through the sand dunes. Passing through the sand dunes you will pass 2 large hotels and apartments on your right, just keep going. The main road swings to the left away from the coast as you enter the outskirts of Corralejo, keep following the main road.

When you come to the first roundabout on the edge of Corralejo, take the first exit on your right (this is Spain!). You will shortly come to a second roundabout and see the New Shopping Centre (with the Clock Tower in front of you), take the second exit. You are now in a one way street system.

Turn first right down a road that runs between Belle Air Villas and Bungalows Neptune.

At the bottom of this little road (40m), turn right.

This is Avenidas Grandes Playas. Vista Lobos is on the left about 50 yards along this road, down a passageway that leads to the sea. The passageway is opposite Las Olas, which is on your right.

You can take your car down to the bottom to unpack but there is no parking there, so it has to be parked in Ave. Grandes Playas.
