About the home

Our ground floor apartment with internet access, is located in a secluded location, 2 minute walk to El Campanario Shopping Centre (with Hiperdino supermarket), where a craft market/live Canarian music is held every Sunday, 3 minutes walk to the nearest beach, (with restaurants) and 7 minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurant area.
The local market is held every Friday & Monday & is within 10 minutes walking distance, past Baku Water Park (5 minutes walk away). Our apartment is situated within a private and enclosed garden area with its own terrace, patio furniture, shared solar heated pool, shared jacuzzi, shared built-in barbecue. The interior is finished to a very high standard with mirrors in every room & low voltage spot lights throughout, 2 flat screened LCD TV's, SKY TV (with all sports channels), 2 DVD players, a Nintendo Wii & Playstation 3 with a selection of DVDs & Games provided. We also have a built in washing machine in the kitchen area.

In the unlikely event that you should need a Doctor, we have full contact details in the apartment of Dr Kerstin Werner (who speaks English, German, Spanish) & who not only has a surgery in Corralejo but also visits in an emergency.

Bright and airy lounge has two sofas, Satellite TV( SKY), 26" flat screen LCD TV & DVD player, with a selection of DVDs, Nintendo Wii & Playstation 3, with a selection of games, and CD hi-fi system with ipod connection. Internet access & wi fi available.
The dining area has a table and 4 chairs and the kitchen is well equipped with a 4 ring cooker with full oven extractor fan, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots pans & wine-rack, etc.
Bedroom 1 with twin beds, (2 brand new mattresses purchased Feb 13), built-in wardrobe with coat hangers and safe, Satellite TV, (free sat) 15" flat screen LCD TV, dressing table, mirror, bedside cabinets, fan, hair dryer, and straighteners.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, built in wardrobe with coat hangers, mirror, bedside cabinet & fan (supplied in high season).
(An extra bed is available on request for a 5th person staying.
Bathroom is fully tiled with over shower, shower screen, bath, toilet, wash hand basin & mirror.
There is a full length mirror in the hall & low voltage spot lights throughout our apartment, black-out linings on bedroom windows, mosquito nets on bedroom & bathroom windows, a fire safety blanket is provided & smoke alarms are also fitted inside the apartment. There is a full size ironing board & iron provided.
A travel cot, cot blanket, high-chair & safety gate are also available on request (at no extra charge). (cot sheets are not provided).
Bathroom towels, tea towels & bed linen are provided. If your stay is for 2 weeks; the bed linen & towels will be changed after your first week.
Luggage scales also provided.
At Christmas time we have a fully dressed Christmas tree on display in the lounge area for your arrival.

Further details outdoors:
Patio doors lead from the lounge to an extended private terrace with tables, chairs (with seat cushions) & loungers. For safety reasons we provide a delightful non-breakable dinner set with unbreakable wine goblets & beakers for al fresco dining!
There are also 2 small clothes lines within the private patio/side area.
The terrace overlooks the shared solar heated swimming pool and is adjacent to the shared jacuzzi and built- in barbecue. There is a private entrance and on-site car parking is provided. There is a private intercom from the outside gate to our apartment with an unlocking device fitted. There is also a shared drying area.

There is no children's pool.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is payable upon booking, followed by a non-refundable balance 6 weeks prior to your arrival date.
Change over day is flexible.
Check in time is 1pm & check out time is 10.30am. (We will try to be flexible whenever possible).

The Fuerteventura region

Fuerteventura, a very tranquil Island has got nevertheless a lot of attractions' famous for it's fantastic Surf and Wind-surfing Conditions. Corralejo offers a great variety of good restaurants to appreciate local and International cuisine, many of then along a promenade overlooking the sea, and a wide choice of shops and Supermarkets. A bus service operates throughout the Island, a boat leaves hourly sailing to Lanzarote (20 min journey). The harbour offers all sorts of entertaiment from Catamaran sailing to fishing or day trips to Lobos Island. The night life is great with a variety of bars offering live music or a quiet drink depending on mood.

The Corralejo area

The nearest beach is a 3-4 minute walk away. There are a number of small beaches along the coast into the town which are all within walking distance. A 15 minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to the spectacular famous sand dunes.

A drive of about 20 minutes will take you through a number of small villages to the other side of the island to the resort of El Cotillo, which also has spectacular beaches, bays and a number of restaurants and bars.

Corralejo is approximately 30 mins drive from the airport.

Taxis and hire cars are available at the terminal.

However, If preferred, private pick up can be arranged (70 euro for 2012 & 80 euro from 2013 up to 4 people).

As our apartment is located in the centre of Corralejo car hire is not essential.

“Lovely apartment in Corralejo” Well maintained apartment ideal for a relaxing winter holiday. The apartment has a lovely pool and jacuzzi and is only a short walk to the main street in Corralejo . Corralejo is a pleasant little town with plenty of restaurants and bars. I didn't bother hiring a car as we decided that we weren't intending to do much. We tended to just sit by the pool then wandered out when the sun went down for a drink and something to eat. My youngest daughter enjoyed Corralejo (she is 20) and may possibly return in the summer rather than go to the very busy resorts in Majorca and mainland Spain. If we return to Fuerteventura we would definitely stay in this apartment again.

“great little gem” casa jacqueline is a great little apartment / villa in a small gated complex of 6 apartments. Being at the end of the block, it gets more sunshine than some of the others and as its next to the hot tub and BBQ its very well placed. there is plenty of room within the 2 rooms and communal area (3 of us stayed there). very handy having the washing machine as we got all the dirty clothes done daily rather than struggle when we got home. the weather was a little cloudier than we have had in previous Novembers over there. we had a few showers too but that didnt dampen the holiday in the slightest. its handy for the local hipperdino supermarket only 5 mins walk away and the main town strip is only a short 10 mins walk too. good for walking out and not too expensive for taxis home, usually less than 3 Euros. would recommend this apartment to couples / small groups and we would stay there again. Tim doing the transfers was also a great addition to the holiday, not having to worry about taxis or finding it as he picked us up on time and took us straight there. thanks for a great time andy, jon & trudi

“fantastic apartment” We had a fantastic holiday in your superb apartment.We was there for 4 weeks and the weeks just flew by.The apartment has everything you could want, and the facilities around the patio area was fantastic.It is a 10 minute walk to the town which has great bars and restaurants.We would reccomend Tim for the airport transfer,he,s a really nice guy who,s knowledge of the area is great. Everything went so smoothly and we have already booked for 4 weeks next year. Thanks again to Jackie and Steve

“A super stay at Casa Jacqueline” This is a lovely apartment. It is squeaky clean , modern and really well appointed. The facilities on the patio areas are great. A nice pool and jacuzzi as well as 4 comfy sunloungers. The location is ideal. It's a 10 minute stroll to the main beach in one direction and a 10 minute stroll to "The Strip" in another. Well recommended.........enjoy !

“Casa Jacqueline” We had a fantastic time in this beautifully maintained apartment, it really was good. Can't fault anything to be honest, it was like a home from home, especially with the washing machine and all the facilities The only fault if anything was the temperature of the pool, it was that cold no one went in it and the kids from all the apartments tended to go in the Jacuzzi, just so they could have a play in some warm water, and the Wi-Fi signal was poor or didn't connect at all, Regardless of that we had such a fantastic relaxed holiday with wonderful sunshine and we would definitely return, Response: Thank you for your comments & I am delighted you all enjoyed your holiday. Regarding the temperature of the pool; I am sorry if you found it to be cold, however, it is a solar heated pool & therefore depends on the temperature of the sun as well as hours of sunshine; which would not be as great during the winter months. With respect to the internet; I apologise if you had problems whilst using it, as you know we do not charge for this facility & we are in contact with the provider to improve on this service. “Quiet Relaxing Well appointed Villa Trust me You will enjoy it...” If you like peace and quiet yet dont want seclusion this villa is the place for you, I have been going to fuerte for a long time, and know it like the back of my hand so have seen the good bad and ugly in regard to properies here, so i was pleased to add fantastic to that list on visiting casa jacqueline with my mother and brother. There is a great little bbq and jaccuzzi area directly outsisde the patio doors and is seldom used by other guests so has the feeling of being solely yours for the duration, as the villa is placed at the end of the property it benefits from an extra bit of patio area that captures the last of the days sun, which im sure is to everybodies taste. Inside the property the living / dining cooking area is well appointed with full fitted kitchen, dining table, comfortable sofas and the use of a full sky tv package and wii ps3 console etc etc. The bedrooms are nicely arranged and the beds comfortable. The villa itself is very secure with locked gate and intercom system and not overlooked in the slightest, within a minutes walk you have the campinero centre housing a good range of eateries and a great little supermarket. If the allure of the town is too much you can access it either by 2 right turns onto the main drag or walk down along the coastal path and across the beaches either will get you to a convivial coastal watering hole within 5/10mins. In short its got it all so my advice is book it up because if you dont i will!!! Thanks to jaqqui for cracking communications before and during the stay i will be booking again soon. soon

“Fantastic location with all needs catered for.” We had a fantastic week in September. The facilities are of top quality. They apartment was spotless and we wanted for nothing. It is a perfect location whether you want to relax at the pool with a book or be more adventurous on the surf. We found it tremendous value for money. It is just 20 minutes from the airport. Although we hired a car the owner does offer an airport pickup if you would like it. We would definitely recommend Casa Spice No 4 as the place to stay if you intend to holiday in Fuerteventura and we intend to return soon.

“Comfortable, private, quiet & safe” This was our 2nd visit to the apartments at Casa Spice. We love the location...within walking distance of the main town, but far enough away not to be bothered by any noise, closer to the beach and across the road is a lovely shopping centre with cafe's/restaurants/supermarket/games/boutiques and therefore all of us were happy. The apartment is very nicely furnished with some lovely little touches that make it feel special, rather than the bog standard self-catering apartment and as we stayed at Christmas, Jackie put a tree up (very tastefully decorated tree!) so that we could celebrate Christmas in tradition. The games consoles were a bonus for my husband & daughter...leaving me to enjoy the sun by the pool....perfect for all of us. The little complex is very quiet and feels very safe & secure due to the locked gate access. The other guests were lovely and I am sure that we will be staying again in the future.

“Wow” One of the best 2 properties we have visited in our travels abroad. Ticked all the boxes. Lovely apartment, clean and well looked after. Big pluses, free wifi and sat tv (listening to radio 2 playing Xmas songs whilst sitting in the sun was one of the weirdest experiences ever) 2 minute walk to a lovely shopping centre and only a short stroll into the town centre. Don't want to bum this property up too much in case everyone else finds out about it! Very, very good

“takes ur breath away” i have stayed in casa jacqueline now 4 times and booked again twice in 2012 its like home from home. aprtment is to very high standards and everything is there u need. wii playstation brill idea if u want to keep the kids in the shade at the hot parts of the day, tim and julie look after u fantastic when staying here keeping apartment to the high standards. i would highly recommend casa jacqueline to anyone that vists fuertventura.
