"Stunning scenery and peaceful location"
We stayed in Michael's house in July, which we found on trip advisor. We could not have found a more stunning property and location. If you want to get away for a relaxing holiday, you could no… More

"Idyllic villa with sensational views nestled above Corfu's exclusive north-eastern coast - perfect in every way"
We arrived in the dark at Tsitsatika House and were met by Michael who was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful. We went straight to bed not being able to tell much about our surroundings but to our delight we woke up the next morning to the most sensational views across tumbling hills of olive groves to the shimmering Ionian Sea and the dusky pink mountains of Albania beyond beneath the bluest of skies.
All the stresses of London evaporated very quickly after breakfast on the terrace and the rest of the day spent swimming and snorkelling at the picturesque aquamarine and turquoise cove of San Stefano 15 minutes away via the villages of Santa, Porta and Sinies (where there is a good little supermarket).
The property surpassed our expectations and is even lovelier than we anticipated. We had our own terrace looking out to sea in beautifully landscaped gardens of lavender and rosemary made by Michael (who is clearly very green fingered and has a real love of this precious island's nature and history).
The house is very spacious; we were travelling as a couple but with two very generous doubles and a extra single it would be perfect for a family or for two couples or friends (possibly with the additional rental of Cobblers Cottage which stands just below Tsitsatika house). The house was immaculate and spotlessly clean with every convenience we could have wished for including a cool box and Tupperware for beach picnics, CDs and a CD player, and even BBQ equipment and charcoal for the evenings we fancied staying in. These evenings on the candlelit terrace with only the sound of the cicadas were truly magical.
We toured the island and went to corfu town on a few occasions to explore the old town, Liston, st spiridon's cathedral and the new fort as well as Mon Repos. Mostly, however, we swam at Kerasia beach - our favourite - and had drinks and dinners in the lovely bars and tavernas in the harbour at San Stefano. We saw Michael here most days and he was always so kind and asked if there was anything we needed. The villa was cleaned while we were there for two weeks and the cleaner even delivered grocery shopping we had pre-ordered to the house for us.
We would certainly recommend this house without hesitation to anyone with a love of beauty, nature and the sea and a need for peace and relaxation - we hope very much to return.

"Amazing views! Tranquil, stylish, comfortable, a must!!"
We had a late arrival at the property, but Michael (the host) was very accommodating. He met us at the house and made us feel extremely welcome, giving us a comprehensive tour of the property. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Michael described the fantastic view we would see the following morning and wow, he was not wrong!! The photos really don't do it justice and that's also the case for the inside of the house. It was absolutely immaculate and is very spacious and stylish, but so comfortable. We spent most of our week lazing around on the loungers, both in the sun and under the shaded dining area, as well at the seating area under the parasol, whilst taking in those breathtaking views.
Michael knows the area so well and we asked him for advice on a few occasions, on where to eat and where to hire a boat for the day. He has a wealth of information on the area and was more than happy to answer any questions we had. A really warm-hearted and genuine man, keen to keep his guests happy.
All-in-all a very good experience with the property and the host and we would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Corfu!! We hope to revisit again in the future.

"An excellent property in idyllic surroundings"
If you want a holiday "away from it all", Tsitsatika House is your answer. The location in the hills is amazing. To waken to the superb views and listen to the birds singing is so relaxing. The property is extremely comfortable and well equipped. The owner lives nearby and is readily available should any problem occur. He will "go the extra mile" to ensure that your every need is met. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.
