Home description

The villa is furnished in a traditional style. Four double bedrooms viewing the locally green beautiful olive trees and the garden, wooden and marble bedside tables at the most of those bedrooms and a large traditional style wordrobes. The rooms effects the frugal "luxury" of the first residents, where nothing is absent and nothing is in excess. A large air-condition system is located at the hall way of the first floor and cools down all the bedrooms!!!

The front entrance halls leads to an open plan tranditional lounge/sitting room and a kitchen. It is a cozy room wirh an old fashion (venetian style) open fireplace. There is also a stereo cd stystem available for all our guests.....so do not forget tobring your cd's. Another air-condition system is available in the lounge.

The kitchen is fully equipped fitted kitchen compising of fridge/freezer, water-heater, toast-maker, coffee-maker, oven, and microwave covering all the needs of a modern family.

At the villa you will find two bathrooms. One with full sized bath with shower over and the other one with shower facilities. Please, note that there is also a washing machine.

The Ionian Islands region

The best time to travel to the Corfu /Astrakeri is between April and June and September to the beginning of November. In the summer months it gets very hot. Active travelers should go in the spring time. In the winter months snow is possible.

Corfu / Astrakeri area

Endless sand beach with no special features, shortly before Roda. The sea is very shallow and children love it (unless it's windy which is fairly common here on the north shore). Most of the people who come here are low­profile, foreign tourists staying in rental accommodation nearby, who appreciate the quiet.
There are a couple of tavernas right on the beach.

This is a unique property which is situated in the beautiful countyside of Astrakeri, approximately 35 kilometers from the Corfu town and the airport.

Villa "KATEXI" is a private well maintained villa is a good location for exploring both the traditional parts of Corfu and the busier areas. The villa is ideal for couples and families seeking to get away from it all.

Astrakeri lies between the busy famous resorts of Roda (2 klm away) and Sidari (3 klm away), so you are not far from all the action and yet you still have the tranwuility of a peaceful and still "virgin" resort.
