The position of this lovely villa will appeal to young families and couples alike given its proximity to the nearby beach and local tavernas. Located just outside the traditional village of Ermones, yet only a 3 minute drive to the beach, Villa Martini ensures guests can enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside and the many walks it has to offer, or even take in a round or two of Golf at the local course a mere stone’s throw away!
Its ‘sunshine yellow’ exterior stands out against the backdrop of the surrounding green hills and mature trees, and is complemented by the large first floor balcony that overlooks the swimming pool and lawned garden to one side of the property.From the outside, the villa looks neat and compact, but once inside, a very spacious, high ceilinged living room is revealed, with windows opening on to the side and front garden overlooking the swimming pool. Sleeping a maximum of 10 people, with two twin bedded rooms on the ground floor, two double bedded rooms (one on ground and one on first floor) and space for two more in the children’s tv room, the house is great for two small families wanting to holiday together, having their own space and privacy on separate floors of the house yet communal areas for all the family to enjoy, such as swimming pool and lawned garden.

The Ionian Islands region

Corfu / Ermones area
Beautifully situated on the west coast south of Paleokastritsa and about 10 miles (16km) from Corfu Town, Ermones has a small beach of shingle, pebbles, sand and flat rocks for sunbathing on. A particularly large rock in the bay is said to be a pirate chief turned to stone for trying to steal a sacred icon from the local church. The nearby long golden sandy beach of Glyfada is approximately 10 minutes drive away!
The beach is organized and has a watersports and diving centre. You can rent a boat and discover the small private coves of the island’s western coast. The beach is overlooked by the Ermones Beach Hotel, from which a funicular railway operates, and the scenery makes a walk to the nearby village of Vatos delightful, although car hire is strongly recommended.

Www.easyjet.com is now running a direct service from 31st March from London Gatwick to Corfu four times per week!!!

Further details indoors: Soft colours and cool tiled floors, contribute to the light airiness of the villa, as of course do the ceiling fans in most rooms.One of the main features is the large open plan wooden staircase leading to the upper-floor rooms.Full sized electric oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer are all in this well equipped kitchen. The washing machine is located in a separate laundry room just off the kitchen. The ground floor boasts two twin bedrooms with a separate shower room and one double en-suite bedroom.
Upstairs on the first floor level, there is a separate seating area with comfy cushions making this an ideal escape corner for quiet reading, however, it is next door to the children’s tv and play room. This tv room can also sleep up to 2 extra people if required as the sofa is full sized and a camp bed can be added for a child.

Arrivals and departures on any day & time, check in normally is after 14:00hrs and check out by the latest at 12:00noon. This is to give the cleaner sufficient time for a same day change over. However if your flight times do not match these times, subject to availability, the Villa can be made available to you for a small extra cost.
