The owners, an architect and a civil engineer, designed and constructed a residence ideal for summer and winter holidays as well as for long term rentals.

The Ionian Islands region

The Ionian Islands, on the west coast of Greece, have a rich and varied history. Due to their mild Mediterranean climate they are rich in vegetation and offer much to visitors. The capital, Corfu, is located on the North West part of Greece, very close to Italy. The island offers a complete range of services that are sure to satisfy the most demanding visitor. A walk through the alleyways of the Old Town of Corfu has something of a dream about it, or perhaps a stage set since its architecture is an expression of its multicultural character. The glorious beaches, the vivid blue sea and the rich vegetation define the unique qualities of the island.

Corfu / Gouvia area

Gouvia is a well known village for its Marina, restaurants, bars, shops, beach, water sports, and its old Venetian shipyard just 7 km away from Corfu town. Guests have free use of bicycles to go to Gouvia (1.7km) for all that it has to offer. A suggestion is to go for a nice ride to the interior of the island - complete with olive trees and Skotini Lake.

There are a lot of charter and sheduld flights between most of the EU countries and Corfu from April until October. EASYJET flies direct London to Corfu.
A taxi from the airport to the property costs approximately 15 Euros.
The nearest bus station is in Gouvia - 1.7km away.
