"Lazy Acre" is a large 3-storey villa of approximately 250 sq. metres. Ground floor with separate living room, 1 double bedroom, bathroom, guest WC, laundry room, storage room. First floor with open plan modern kitchen and dining room, a further 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and walk-in pantry. The attic hosts a nice size living room, a further double bedroom and shower room. Central heating, 2 fireplaces and double glazing.

The villa has over an acre of olive grove, part of which has been landscaped with many flowers, shrubs and fruit trees. Free luxurious sunbeds Large parking area for up to 7 cars with driveway leading to tarmac road. Quiet area with no surrounding houses, approx 9km from Corfu town. Car hire recommended but local shops 10mins walk away. Aqualand Corfu's biggest waterpark is a short walk away and Lazy Acre Guests get 50% on their visit.
The Ionian Islands region
.Its easy to see why the Ionian Islands inspired the epic ancient Greek poem "The Odyssey" by Homer and in more recent times has been the setting for blockbuster "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". Outstanding natural beauty and teeming with interesting sights and sounds monasteries, animal parks, Olive presses and wine making.
Eating out in the various restaurants and tavernas is an absolute treat, the locals friendly and happy to help.
Known as the ‘Emerald Isle’ due to its lush green countryside and crystal clear coves, the islands' climate is typically Mediterranean. The perfect holiday destination!
The Corfu area
So secluded is the atmosphere that its hard to believe that the centre of Gouvia is under 4km away and the superb sandy beaches of Pelekas and Glyfada a straightforward 10 minute drive. What’s more for the younger or more adventurous visitors the excellent Waterpark is within virtual walking distance. The airport is only 20 minutes south of the property, which means that you will arrive at the Villa quickly, unstressed and very probably without requiring the assistance of a map. Anyone wishing to enjoy the bars and clubs of Gouvia can safely get back to the villa by taxi in under10 minutes. Our guests get a 50% discount at Aqualand Water-Park
There is a generous and varied selection of restaurants in the area to suit every occasion. No need either to leave your clubs at home as the Golf Course is also 10 minutes away and especially delightful out of high season. A 6th century fortress, Byzantine churches, museums and archaeological sites.
The nearest village is Agios Ioannis and is in walking distance of the villa. Here you will find a charming square with an outdoor taverna and is a popular place, frequented by locals and “in the know visitors”. Even Corfu Town is only a 10-15 minute drive away. * Car hire is highly recommended in order to get the most out of your holiday. If you wish, we can gladly help you with these arrangements.

A fantastic relaxing break. Lazy Acre is a superb location and feels homely and is well equiped. We had a brief issue with hot water wchich was fixed right away, we have only good memories and didnt want to leave. Corfu itself is beautifuland the food and drink excellent! But what made it even better was knowing we could get anywhere easily and always come "home" to a fantastic house. Thanks to Denise, Debbie and Julie for making our stay very relaxed.
