Home description
Wisteria is a modern villa approx 5 min walk from the fabulous sandy beaches of St. George, and conveniently close to restaurants, cash points and shops. It has a small garden, private parking space and paved pathway entrance. Pool facilities are available 100m from the villa. The villa is ideally situated for sightseeing and exploring the island.
The resort of St. George offers plenty to do including water sports from parasailing to jet-skiing to windsurfing and boat hire. There is also an endless supply of day trips, boat trips and excursions available from the travel agents around the resort. St George is a laid back resort, suitable for couples and families of all ages, however a more energetic night life is only a 20 minute taxi ride away.

The Ionian Islands region
The Ionian Islands take their name from the sea which lies between the tip of Italy and the west coast of Greece. The Ionians in turn took their name from Ion, after the nymph goddess of the sea. These islands are also known as the Eptanisos - The Seven Islands - of which Corfu is the second largest with a length of 40 miles and a width varying between two and a half and eighteen miles. The North East Cape, where you will find the resort town of Kassiopi, is one and a half miles from the Albanian coast. The shape of the island resembles a scythe with a surface area of 588 square miles.

There is also a wide variety of water sports available. The main stretch of St Georges offers many traditional tavernas, great for sampling some of the local cuisine and wonderful fresh fish!

Greek Easter - Easter Sunday 2009 - April 19th
Celebration of Easter in Corfu is part of a unique experience, and part of an extensive calendar of religious and cultural activities different from anywhere else in Greece and particularly more impressive for first-time visitors to the island, including traditions such as the Easter Saturday morning at 11.00am, the time for the Pot Throwing , this is to mark the First Resurrection.
NEWS - Corfu to hold Summer Music Academy - JUNE 2009
The Greek island of Corfu will be hosting an event to keep all of its music-loving visitors entertained this summer. Visitors to the island in June this year will be able to enjoy the Ionian Summer Music Academy, which will run throughout the month.
The festival, which features themed sections including brass, instrumental, vocal interpretation and Greek music, has become a regular part of Corfu's annual entertainment calendar.
It will be divided into five periods this year - woodwind and percussion, symphony music, east meets west, classical experience and Ionian jazz concerts. Attendees to the free concerts will be taken all over Corfu during their trip, to venues including the Town Hall Square, the Saint Spiridon Placado and the Municipal Theatre.

Further details indoors: The villa was built in 2007 to a high standard with Italian tiles, and wood lime-washed ceilings, giving a light airy atmosphere. You will find that Wisteria offers a complete 'home from home' experience.
The open plan living/kitchen area has a contemporary fitted kitchen with a dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven, microwave and two fridge freezers. The living area consists of a comfy L shaped sofa, flat screen TV and dining table seating for six.
Both bedrooms offer fitted wardrobes, hair dyers, air-conditioning and french doors leading onto the tiled terrace, and into the garden, excellent for al fresco dining! The master bedroom has a king size bed, dressing table and full length mirror. The second bedroom has 2 chunky single beds. The family bathroom has a bath with shower and marble top sink unit.
What do you have to use in the villa? A selection of Books and games Playstation 2 with games including The Mega Quiz with 4 Buzz controllers. A selection of DVD's and CD's

What is provided for you? On arrival you will receive a welcome basket. If you would like to make your stay extra special we can arrange a bottle of champagne for you. (Please ask for details, there will be a small charge)
English-speaking representative on hand to answer any questions and to recommend places to eat, drink and visit.
Fresh linen and towels on arrival and a spare set of sheets left in the villa at all times. During a week stay your villa will be cleaned and fresh linen provided mid week. However if you have any different requirements we will be happy to help.

Conditions
Refundable security deposit of £150 required, this will be refunded once the villa has been checked after your departure.
A deposit 25% of the rental amount is required on booking. The booking cannot be confirmed until this deposit has been received. The balance of the amount must be paid 6 weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
The villa must be vacated by 12pm on the day of departure or another night will be charged.
No smoking villa, smoking is permitted outside. No Pets.
