The area surrounding the house and the pool is stone paved and spacious and an attractive roofed pergola to the side of the house offers welcome shade for outdoor dining.
The swimming pool is large and inviting, with plenty of sunbeds all around, and has lovely views to the little harbour of Nissaki and the sea.

The Ionian Islands region
The island of Corfu is located just off the West coast of Greece. It is the greenest of the Ionian Islands, and probably also the well known. The island enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate and offers a beguiling landscape of wild flowers, cypress trees, local vegitation and over 2 million olive trees.
Corfu is surrounded by a beautiful and varied coastline. It has the precise balance of long sandy beaches, pebble beaches, secluded shingle coves, some of which can only be reached by boat, and high cliffs which are the perfect resting point to take in some of the spectacular sunsets.
The island’s old town, built largely by the Venetians during their rule in the 15th Century, with its stunning architecture is an attraction in itself. With it’s esplanades and piazzas, it is a cosmopolitan place enjoyed by young and old alike.
In 2007 Corfu’s old town was inscribed in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
The small fishing villages and beach-side tavernas offer a fine selection of traditional greek cuisine to suit all tastes.
The island has something to offer to everybody from museums and monuments to night clubs, restaurants and walking/hiking trails.
Nissaki is a quiet village with a small horseshoe-shaped beach in the North East of Corfu island.
The area’s name, Nissaki (or Nisaki), means "Small Island" and, as the older people say,
the name derived from the existence of a tiny island close to the harbour. That tiny island has since joined with the main land and a taverna is now located on top of it.
Nissaki’s crystal clear waters and surrounding greenery make it an idyllic location. It provides remoteness and isolation in combination with ease of access to local shops and traditional tavernas with excellent food.
Covering a coastal area of over 3 kilometers and incorporating 3 beaches with crystal clear water, Nissaki offers activities like water sports, boat hire and walking/hiking on the Nissaki - Corfu trail, the Old Sinies village and the surrounding area.
Boat hire is popular and the best way to enjoy the many small coves which are excellent for snorkeling and often inaccessible by car. Each beach has a couple of traditional waterside tavernas where you can sit dining with your toes almost in the waters of the Ionian Sea. There is also a good selection of eateries on the main road always with stunning sea views from their dining areas.
Nissaki’s tiny harbour is also used by the village's fishing boats which complements the whole picturesque image of the village.
During the night small bars are open offering drinks and refreshments. There are not night clubs with loud music however.
For those that seek this kind of entertainment popular destinations with active night life like Kalami, Barbati and Ipsos are only 10-20 minutes away by car.
Mount Pantokrator, above the village, makes a dramatic back drop and a visit to the top and its monastery is a must for the views and the quaint inland villages.
The popular bay of Agni is just a few kilometers down the road and the taverna “Agni” offers an evening water taxi service from and to Nissaki’s harbour as well as a trip to Corfu Town twice a week.

"A lovely villa, Irini and her sister were very welcoming and helpful."
The villa was very good and we were made very welcome by the owners.
It had everything we needed and the poll was very large. Views fantastic.
The area was quieter than we expected, even quieter than Kalami which we do not expect but we were able to get to all amenities without use of a car.
The weather was unsettled which was also a surprise; we had not been to Corfu this early in the year before. I think it would be better to wait until end of June if you want assured warm weather.
