Pantazis studio is situated just 500m. from the graphic seashore village Benitses and 13km. from the capital, Corfu town.

The studio is ideal and affordable accommodation for families. It has complete kitchen equipment, hot and cold water, TV set and air-condition. There is a regular bus connection to the Corfu town. In the village of Benitses you can enjoy sea sports as well as the nightlife.

The capital of the islands are Corfu.
Most of the Ionian islands were inhabited since the Paleolithic era, having developed even a rudimentary culture.
The islands were a great development during the Archaic and Classical times to 197 BC, was conquered by the Romans and served as a naval station.
In Byzantine times the Ionian islands flourished, and especially from the 9th to the 11th century BC, developed a great naval and commercial activities, thus building economic prosperity. From the 12th century, however, the islands came under fire from many pirate raids and especially the Venetians by the Normans.
So gradually the Ionian Islands passed into the hands of Arabs, apart from Lefkada who remained until the 17th century under Turkish occupation.
Later, the Ionian Islands flourished economically and culturally (18th century).
From 1798 to 1864 who were united with Greece, passed successively from the possession of French, Russians, Turks, French, and again the British.
Finally, in 1864 the islands were annexed to the Greek state.
