The Midi-Pyrenees / Tarn region
The property is located just a short drive from Medieval towns steeped in history which still enjoy a quiet sophistication, together with friendly local people who have a warmth to match their lovely countryside. Nearest towns being St. Antonin Noble Val (10 mins) with weekly market (Sundays), bars, restaurants, shops, cinema & sporting activities. The touristic town of Cordes sur Ciel is 20 mins. surrounded on all sides by open countryside, The property offers tranquillity and relaxation and yet still within easy reach of amenities.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS Nearby are Medieval villages, Bastide towns, Chateaux, Abbeys, Churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering River Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.
ACTIVITIES Horse riding, canoeing, fishing, bird watching, rail trips, rock climbing, wine tasting, museums, pot-holing, tennis and of course walking. Golf is available at Albi (18-hole delightful course), where there is also a water-park for children. An afternoon's excursion by canoe through the Aveyron Gorge is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.
Cordes-sur-Ciel area
A magnificent bastide town offering a weekly market, colourful fetes during the summer season. numerous bars & restaurants, small local craft boutiques & many interesting outlying villages. The major town of Albi (with impressive cathedral & museums, lovely cafes on the main plaza) is another 20 mins by car.
How to get there
The property is approximately 1 hour 20 mins from Toulouse Airport. Rodez airport is on average 1 hour 30 mins and Carcassone 2 hours 30 mins, as is Bordeaux. A day's drive from the Channel Ports.

On RHS, the kitchen/ dining room (8 x 6m), the former having masses of storage space & large fridge / freezers, together with dishwasher, etc. The Dining area set slightly apart. The Main Lounge (8 x 6m) has TV with DVDs. Leading from this is the Children's Play room with toys, games, & mini football. Main rooms on this floor lead out to the Dining / Sun Terrace with brick built BBQ. On the lower floor is a large Bedroom III (7m x 6m) with double bed & 2 twin beds. En suite bathroom with shower, basin, WC.
