About the home

A private, converted barn / farmhouse with PRIVATE swimming pool. Set in large grounds with landscaped gardens and Views for miles around, not overlooked by neighbours, the house offers spacious accommodation with all facilities. (It is the main residence of the Owners for the rest of the year).

A delightful location, just a 20 drive from St Antonin Noble Val, a wonderful medieval market town, and 10 mins from Cordes Sur Ciel - a major tourist attraction. Set on the outskirts of the wine growing region, there are many wine caves to explore & do some wine tasting. A wide selection of sporting activities nearby.

The property offers 3 bedrooms (2 doubles / 1 twin) and Huge SALON PRINCIPAL (11m x 7m), fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 en suite) / separate W.C. The rooms are all light & bright. There is ample parking and a covered car port. There is also optional use of a Z bed for children @ small supplement.

BEDROOMS : The 2 double bedrooms each have a KING size bed. The twin bedded room is large enough to take another single Z~bed for children.

There is a main bathroom with separate WC, an ensuite bathroom & an additional separate WC /basin.

As all bedrooms are on the main ground floor (with only small number of steps at entrance), this could prove very practical for people with walking disabilities.

Electricity, Linen and towels included in rental price.
Central heating & wood burning stove for out of season rental.

The Midi-Pyrenees / Tarn region

The vineyards of Gaillac are just 10 minutes away, with numerous caves for buying and sampling the local wines. There are many other Bastide villages / towns in the vicinty (including Cordes sur Ciel ~ 10 mins by car / Albi ~ 20 mins).

The property is situated amidst rolling countryside and spectacular views. It truly is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Excellent walking potential.

The Cordes-sur-Ciel / Itzac area

Conveniently located in a delightful and secluded location just a 15 minute drive from St Antonin Noble Val with the bustling Sunday morning market - a wonderful medieval market town, and 10 mins to Cordes sur Ciel - a major tourist attraction. Close by there is horse riding , fishing, rail trips, wine tasting , tennis and lot of interesting walks.

The large town of Albi is just 20 mins. by car with lovely 18 hole golf course.

The property is approximately a day's drive from the Channel Ports and only just over an 1 hour from Toulouse Airport, which has daily flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Southampton,Manchester,Dublin, Bristol ,Stansted and numerous flights from regional airports connecting with Amsterdam or Brussels and then onwards to Toulouse.

Carcasonne, just an hour south of Toulouse, is another alternative with often very much cheaper fares.
Rodez is about 1 hour 30 mins app.
