About the home

This beautifully furnished 3 bed villa is in a perfect location on a quiet cul-de-sac in an exclusive gated development. It's just 3 minutes walk to the best sandy beach in Coral Bay and walking distance to its shops and restaurants. It offers luxury and comfort throughout and attention to every detail makes this villa a really special place to stay. The master bedroom has a king size bed, luxury en suite and a balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the fantastic sea views. The villa's beautiful tropical garden is a real feature. Perfect for families as it provides plenty of space for children to play or they can splash about in the safe and private swimming pool (selection of toys & inflatables available). It is also perfect for couples as the garden's peaceful setting makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
If you are travelling with a baby, a cot, highchair & Avent steriliser are provided free of charge.

Kitchen: Modern and fully equipped with fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and board, microwave, oven and hob, kettle, toaster and filter coffee maker. High chair and Avent bottle sterliser.

Living Rooms: Bright and spacious open plan living/dining room which has been beautifully furnished with soft and comfortable sofas, coffee table, lamp tables and dining table with 6 chairs. Large sliding doors open onto the patio with comfortable furniture for alfresco dining or simply relaxing. There is also a large flat screen LCD TV with satellite channels and a DVD player with a good selection of movies.

Bedrooms: The Master bedroom has a king size bed with luxury en suite and a private balcony with table and chairs to enjoy the fantastic sea view and sunsets. All bedrooms have been carefully furnished so they are comfortable and relaxing and have fitted wardrobes, lamp tables and mirrors with shelves. The remaining 2 bedrooms are twin rooms and have balconies with sea and mountain views.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath/shower, wc. 2 remaining bedrooms share second bathroom with bath/shower and wc. Water pump and immersion heater ensures powerful, hot showers at all times.

If you are travelling with a baby, a cot with sheets and blankets from John Lewis & Mothercare and a highchair and Avent steriliser from Mothercare are provided free of charge.

There is air conditioning to all rooms and is included in the price.

There is also a safety deposit box for valuable items

The exterior of the villa features a large and beautifully landscaped garden with a variety of tropical plants and trees. You will find Palm trees, hibiscus hedging with bright red flowers and pink white and purple bourgainvillea. The most wonderful fragrance comes from the orange and lemon trees growing next to the patio. The villa has a large area of level lawn which is ideal for children's play and a safe and private swimming pool which is very pleasant to swim in (there is a selection of toys available for their amusement including swing ball, badminton, buckets and spades and inflatables for the pool). There are two large private patios, one which is directly outside the kitchen's french doors which is the perfect spot for breakfast as it catches the morning sun and the other is at the rear of the villa and has plenty of comfortable furniture including a dining table and 6 chairs for alfresco dining and a garden sofa suite with cushions which is a lovely place for relaxing evening drinks. A full size gas BBQ will also help you to make the most of the warm evenings. There are 6 comfortable sun loungers with cushions and matching drinks tables for relaxing around the pool. This garden provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. A private gated driveway leads to a shady car port with space for 2 cars.

The villa is just a 3 minute stroll to the best sandy beach in Coral Bay and within 10 minutes walk of the restaurants shops and bars of Coral Bay. Therefore a car is not necessary. The villa is also just a 3 minute walk from the 5 star Coral Beach Hotel where day passes can be purchased for access to the indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, spa & all the outdoor pool areas at very reasonable rates. Spa treatments are also available at the nearby 5 star Thalassa Hotel & Spa. Golf, horse riding, fishing, scuba diving, Go -Karting and other watersports are also available close by.

The Paphos region

Paphos has become a very popular holiday destination due to its wonderful climate, sandy beaches, fantastic restaurants, beautiful scenery and the broad number of activities available to everyone. There is much to see and do here or you can find plenty of peace and quiet just to relax and do nothing. It is fantastic for families with children and couples.

Paphos Harbour and Castle:
The harbour at Paphos attracts visitors all year round. It is lovely to stroll along the waterfront where you will find a selection of traditional fish restaurants and tavernas which have been there for many years. Look out for the infamous pelican that still parades the waterfront looking for something to grab! The view is wonderful, particularily in the early evening when the sun is starting to go down with the colourful fishing boats and you can watch the fisherman coming back from a day at sea with their catch. The harbour is also a good place to take a boat tour either in a glass bottom boat or a more traditional boat to view the surrounding beaches and coastline.

The Castle:
The ancient castle is situated at the harbour. It can be reached via a small bridge over a moat and is worth a visit just for the view at the top. Opening hours in winter daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., summer daily 9.a.m to 6 p.m.

The Paphos Mosaics:
The colourful Roman mosaics are a must see for all visitors to Cyprus. They were discovered by accident in the 1960's and further excavation revealed a number of Roman houses all with spectacular mosaics. The main sites are the House of Aion ,the house of Dionysos and the House of Theseus . Opening hours October-March daily 8am to 5pm.April/May to September 8am to 6pm., June to August 8am to 7 pm

The Akamas Peninsular:
The Akamas Peninsular is beautiful. Here you will find the Baths of Aphrodite where you can swim in water that is crystal clear and so warm that it feels like bathing. The area is perfect for naturalists as it is famous for its abundance of flora and fauna, boasing 600 different plant species and over 100 types of birds, mammals and reptiles as well as many butterflies.

Latchi:
North of Coral Bay, a little further up the coast, you will come to Latchi with its lovely traditional harbour and fishing village. There are very good traditional restaurants along the waterfront. You can take a boat from the marina to the amazing Blue Lagoon.

The Coral Bay area

The villa is in a perfect location as it is in close proximity to the beaches and all the restaurants and facitlites of Coral Bay. It is therefore very easy to get around and a car is not necessary unless you wish to explore the rest of the Island. A bus service runs regularly from just outside the development into Paphos for the market and shops etc.

The taxi ride from the airport is approx. 25-30 minutes (25km) and costs around 50 euros.

It is a very family friendly destination as the beaches are clean and the restaurants cater for children but it is also a very relaxing place for couples and honeymooners.

Coast/Beach - Beautiful sandy beaches at Corallia and Coral Beach. Corallia beach is just a 3 minute walk,(200m), from the villa and the main Coral Beach is an 8 minute walk from the villa. Both beaches are perfect for families, particularly with young children as the sea is very shallow for quite some distance from the shore and is warm and very calm. The sand is clean and swept daily.

Amenities - The nearest supermarket, restaurants and bars are just a 5 minute walk from the villa while the centre of Coral Bay is approx. an 8 - 10 minutes walk from the villa, where you will find a larger selection of restaurants (many catering for children), cafes, icecream vendors, shops and bars and a children's play centre. There is also an internet cafe, banks a chemist and more supermarkets.

Available Activities - Cycling, fishing, horse riding, tennis, water sports, scuba diving rambling, go-karting etc...are available close by.

Hotel Facilities - The villa is just a 3 minute walk from the 5 star Coral Beach Hotel where day passes can be purchased for access to the indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym, spa, tennis & all the outdoor pool areas at very reasonable rates. Spa treatments are also available at the nearby 5 star Thalassa Hotel & Spa.

Golf - There are 3 courses at Tsada, Secret Valley and Aphrodite hills, all within 15 minutes drive.

Aphrodite Water Park - 15 minutes drive from the villa, the children will love it!

“Feels Like Home, Only Better!” Our stay at Villa Marina had been planned as an escape from the dreadful November weather we usually have in Moscow. The villa has surpassed all our expectations: it was very quiet, had a beautiful garden area where we had our meals, and a large swimming pool. Unlike some other guest accommodations in the area, Villa Marina is surrounded by a wall of green, which creates privacy and helps to relax. We all slept very well there, as beds were very comfortable, and nice warm blankets were provided by the owner. The villa is tastefully decorated and it has a great personal touch to it. I enjoy cooking, and I found everything I needed in the kitchen to prepare great meals. Everything was so well organised - you just think about it, and it's there) The beach is very close to the villa, and we enjoyed long days just doing nothing, swimming, sunbathing and drinking great Cyprus coffee in the bar. At other days we would go to Paphos which is very close and visit its great archaeological sights and museums. Villa Marina can cater for all tastes: it's a great refuge for those tired of big cities and wishing to get away from it all, and for families with children as it's so spacious and accommodating. Our stay was a memorable one, we felt very welcome and very much at home. Only it was better than home)

“Fantastic stay at Villa Marina” We are just back from our two week holiday at Villa Marina and wanted to thank you for providing such a great villa.  It was so clean and well presented on arrival with lovely little touches like flowers on the bed and towels folded into swans.  The villa had everything we needed to feel 'at home' during the holiday and could happily have stayed longer!  As we were travelling with a young child and elderly grandparents it was a great relief how suitable the villa was in both these cases, especially with the addition of stair gates which were arranged on our behalf.  The lovely big garden area surrounding the pool seems quite unique and we really enjoyed having this extra space.  The villa is in such a perfect location - with a beautiful beach opposite and enough restaurants in walking distance if you do not wish to hire/use a car.  We did however have a car and the information you provided before our stay was extremely helpful and there were some great recommendations for days out and restaurants that we enjoyed trying.  The property managers, Lisa and Ray, were fantastic and were so quick in dealing with a few small issues such as helping us to get the BBQ alight & changing a bulb. We had a great time and would not hesitate to book again and recommend the villa to others - in fact we already have!

"We have just returned from one of the best holidays we have ever had and all because of this fantastic Villa. The location is perfect with a few tavernas & restaurants within walking distance as well as a lovely supermarket. The villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard both in and out. The outside was perfect for the whole family with the sun moving around during the day ensuring both sun and shade to suit. There is a great car port at the villa that keeps the car lovely and cool. We took a daily stroll to the beach for a paddle and a walk along the Marina. The management team was on hand to help with anything you needed. The villa owner, Marina, was brilliant, helping and accommodating in every way possible making the whole process a pleasure.
We will definitely be returning again and would recommend this property to any one and everyone. After being a Travel agent for over 20 years its not often I am confident in saying that, this is the exception."

The flowers were absolutely beautiful - I could smell the lilies as soon as we walked into the villa! I'm not sure if you know about the rose petals and swan/heart shaped towels on our bed?! The champagne was perfect (we drank it sitting on the outside sofas!) and the welcome pack was brilliant, it saved us going shopping for a couple of days and we used everything in it. The card was lovely too and we were both so touched that you went to so much trouble for us, it made us feel really special. We were so thrilled when we arrived and saw our surprises that we took lots of pictures.

There were lots of 'Wow!'s from friends and family who came to visit us and Clive's aunty and family, who (believe it or not) ended up staying in the villa opposite, said yours was nicer. Their property managers weren't as good either. We were so impressed by yours. When we arrived the villa was immaculate both inside and out and they were very helpful and concerned when we had to take Sam to the doctors/hospital. Thank you also for letting us stay in the villa for the extra two days it took for our little Sam's spots to dry up. It made such a difference because it meant we could relax and make the most of the last two days instead of having to pack everything up, move to a hotel and just bide our time before the flight home. “The Villa is amazing, very much a home from home with all modern luxuries. Excellent communication from the owners, very helpful and friendly, a pleasure from the beginning. We highly recommend alfresco dining making the most of the beautiful furniture and BBQ. The pool is a wonderful size and maintained regularly for that lovely blue and inviting dip to cool off and even has an outside shower! The sunloungers are very comfortable with little tables to hold that cool drink while you relax. Very peaceful location on a fairly new development and close to a sandy beach (2 mins walk) which is lovely and has a range of watersports available. The people in Cyprus are lovely and all speak very good English. Use the bus it is much cheaper than using taxis all the time only 1.50 euros anywhere. If you go to the Waterpark your bus fare is refunded. I would definitely recommend this villa the property managers provide an excellent service. Thank you for a fantastic relaxing holiday.”

Having looked around the development I believe you chose well. Some of the other villas had little outside space. I understand that the Property Management Co. took over at the beginning of Sept. I am please to advise that they were excellent. I would also advise that the cleaning company did a thoroughly good job and were very flexible delaying their visit on our last day allowing us to stay on until the afternoon. This was most helpful having the grandchildren.
