Olive Tree apartment is ideal for a relaxed Island holiday. The positioning between the rustic village of Peyia and the busy, yet laid-back, resort of Coral Bay provides an ideal combination of local charm and sophisticated night life. Coral Bay is a wonderful cosmopolitan resort with numerous shops and quality restaurants, cocktail bars with regular entertainment and the best gently shelving sandy beaches for miles around. It is a resort for couples and families and many excursions may be booked from here. A taxi in the evening should be no more than 5/7 euros.
Peyia on the other hand is a 10 minute stroll and is a developing, yet traditional, Cypriot village. It now offers many smart bars and restaurants whilst maintaining it's olde world charm. Try The Grand for a traditional greek market square atmosphere or JJ's for a panoramic view of Coral Bay as the sun goes down. Prices are much cheaper here as well.
Away from the area, there are numerous sights to see, including ancient baths and temples and the modern holiday resort and harbour of Paphos. There is also a large water park just outside Paphos which is always popular with children young and old.

The twin beds form comfortably into a quality double, and the bed settee is of good quality to ensure a good night's sleep for all. The satellite TV has over 200 channels including British and other European channels. Two sun beds are provided along with Beach towels for your convenience (especially useful with restricted baggage allowances on some airlines).

The shared pool is situated directly outside the front of the apartment providing easy access whilst retaining the facilities of the apartment. In the evening a BBQ is provided for poolside al fresco dining. The apartment, despite being so close to many facilities, is set in a very quiet area.
The Paphos region
Cyprus is a wonderful destination for a holiday for all age groups. With almost guaranteed sun from April to the end of October, fabulous nightlife, shopping and tourist attractions to suit every interest, from ancient culture to modern water parks.Situated just 15km from Paphos airport, just 10km from Paphos town centre and only 3km from Coral Bay. Historic Paphos is a mecca for tourists who enjoy the modern facilities and marina, but also like the historical monuments and museums. Paphos has an enviable reputation for classy, cosmopolitan night life and luxury hotels and restaurants. Coral Bay is a sophisticated resort which mainly attracts families and couples, although there are plenty of bars and restaurants, and even a disco, suitable for the young at heart. . Paphos has a large water park and many boat trips are available from its port. Within an hour's drive you will find Limassol with its beautiful esplanade and beaches. Larnaca is also accessible within 2 hours

Olive Tree apartment is conveniently positioned between the quaint Cypriot village of Peyia and the cosmopolitan resort of Coral Bay. Coral Bay is situated 10 km west of Paphos and about half an hour drive from the airport. Several airlines fly into Paphos, year round, including EasyJet who are now offering a cheaper alternative than some of the other carriers.
It is highly recommended that you hire a car whilst staying at the apartment, as the shops and beach at Coral Bay are just too far to walk comfortably. In addition there are so many splendid sights to see in Cyprus and this will also provide you with the freedom to do so. Generally speaking, the roads are quite good and the Cypriots drive on the left hand side of the road, the same as the British.
